Well, they were inspired by "Drive", so it's only natural. Oh, and I heard that the idea of the silent protagonist is here because of this film, but I'm not sure@@joakimberg7897
That was in the works but they weren't able to because executives didn't understand shit and at one point demand they dont have the masks in the film. So i think we are lucky to not have a movie.
I've always imagined that, if Hotline Miami ever became a TV Series or a Movie, Evan would be the main character/given slightly more focus, or at least the only character surviving long enough to be in all seasons. Something about a caring father trying to live in and make sense of a country trapped in the cyclical nature of violence sounds kind of compelling. Plus he's an investigative journalist, could be a good medium to do flashback sequences of hlm1. I guess I just have a hard on for Mr Wright. Either way, good video and all that shit, is good stuff 👍
Yeah, either Evan or Jacket. Both are good to go for a series/movie. Maybe a series with Evan as the protagonist and a movie where Jacket is the protagonist?
Hotline Miami 2 would be an amazing movie if they would mix around Midnight Animal and real events to recreate how playing through the game's story felt for new audiences. They could do it like the opening sequences in the Scream movies. The first movie would end like the game so new audiences would think what they're watching in the 2nd movie is a continuation of the 1st but it's just Martin Brown
Dude totally should have shown not just the bartender for Beard but a guy behind a counter at a pizza joint, a general store, and a media store cuz that guy was everywhere lmao
@@kleroy-fp9in Yeah, but there are lot of possibilities. Hotline Miami 2 have a flashback system, in a third entrance you can talk about the past. Or make the entire thing like an astral dream. Or even a postapocaliptic game. We need that third game, bro.
1:30 feel like this is more richter bc of both of them being bald and suppressed smg Edit and the guy walking in is kinda when jacket first meets richter in jackets apartment
the fact that scarface hated colombians makes it more accurate for the son.
@hyperix makes it double. only the position doesn`t set in
and the fact he died on coke
Also the fact that he is also an immigrant fits well
He also was coke addicted
i love how adequate the movies references are
Especially Jake
Especially Pardo!
considering the fact that dennaton games have stated they imagine jacket looking like ryan gosling, this is pretty acurate
for sure?

Well, they were inspired by "Drive", so it's only natural. Oh, and I heard that the idea of the silent protagonist is here because of this film, but I'm not sure@@joakimberg7897
So jacket is literaly us
Jackets appearance was apparently inspired by 'driver' a character played by Ryan gosling
Hotline Miami community still going strong 🔥
love to know
Just started playing it yesterday and this vid comes up
Heck yeah we are!
We out here
50 Blessings of TH-cam
The son and The Janitors gotta be the best comparisons
jake is better tbh
Comparing Beard to the barman from the Shining worked pretty well
Well honestly they're all pretty fucking good
The sons music?
kocham twój nick prawie tak bardzo jak kocham HM
Richter dancing with his mom is 10/10
I really like that in hotline miami 1, theres an easter egg of the drive jacket on the floor of jackets apartment.
Hotline Miami actually took inspiration from that film. Including the music itself.
glad to see hotline miami fanbase and content still active
Jacket is literally Ryan Gosling fr
The Son & Biker is based
Based on what?
There’s so Fucking cool playable characters in two that’s it’s really hard to decide who’s my favorites.

Evan was pretty great. The only character that could go all Batman without ever killing anyone
Yeah, either Evan or Jacket. Both are good to go for a series/movie. Maybe a series with Evan as the protagonist and a movie where Jacket is the protagonist?
Yeah, and also they could add a vhs filter to give the 8-bit game vibe
