Carly sucks balls, anything beyond basic code clearing i.e. the 'customisation' stuff on works on German cars (mainly BMWs), their customer service is shite, you can't turn off auto-renewal through your online account i.e. you have to contact them directly and it's enabled by default. Oh and when you don't do this (you forget or don't realise it's going to auto-renewal for much more than you paid for year 1) you get NO reminders, you just get a nice surprise when the money comes off your card and they hide behind 'German consumer law' which apparently means they don't have to reminder you and you don't have ANY cooling off period for the renewal i.e. no you ain't getting a refund.
That panel gap on the tool box will never be the same 😢
you know its a scam when it tells you to buy the package in order to find out which features are actually available on your specific make and model. After a lot of digging I found out there was absolutely nothing that my car menu wouldn't already allow me to do, the only benefit of carly is I can do it from a phone? yeeahhhhh.... no thanks

Believe it or not, I'm still working full time (minus the afternoons I'm on dialysis) running my little tyre business with my wife which is keeping me busy and keeping me sane!! Don't feel bad. I bought a Z3 recently and almost immediately pulled into a parking spot and ran the front splitter into a curb because I'm not used to sitting so far back (I was trying to line my mirror up with the car next to me, but they were a CUV with their tires up against the curb). And my brakes work.
God Alex has become increasingly hectic.
TDC and ATG are chill and comfort compared to what AA is churning out lately.

Speaking of it could have been worse… I had a coworker do some pedal misapplication while loading a car onto the top deck of a railcar. Needless to say the single railcar door couldn’t hold the car back. She plummeted about 20 feet straight down while “braking” as hard as she could. She landed on the front bumper, and car tipped forward, so it settled on it’s roof. Because she was basically standing on the gas and brake pedal, she shattered her ankle when the car landed. I was only at that job for a couple more years before I started building the cars we were shipping. But I never saw her again. Yes, it definitely could have been worse.
Least we know TDC next video idea…
