At some points the player is trying to get the mag/clip into position without dropping it, and it's a lot better than the" drop mag then throw it into the gun without missing because I'm perfect." This is what I aspire to do
Since Infiltration for UT99, Cry of Fear for HL and FFUR for Operation Flashpoint, I've never seen such a tremendous job in a mod. This is really detailed, the variety of the firearms and the complex animations are for me, the big piece of cake. Great job developers, thanks.
This is a mod for BF2. And to play it you have have a online account. But since Gamespy was closed down, all the servers are down as well. But, it looks better than in most FPS's.
Sounds are a major improvement from the last time I 've played. Still; could use some work on the distant sounds and 3rd. I think I might redownload this and install, start playing again. WHo has been behind the sound department?
It would be kinda cool if the guy fucks up some of the reloads if he is injured or under fire sometimes (maybe at a lower level or something). I don't know just a cool idea.
reminds me of this one game ( i forgot the name) but it was some kind of fps where you travel in time and in the game you can time your reloads. e.g. press r to reload and you see a circle press r again in the right time and you reload faster than normal but if you press it at the wrong time your character jams the gun and the reload takes a little longer.

These animations are better than battlefield bad company 1,2 battlefield 3 and 4. They are better than anything in cod and honestly that makes me sad. Not sad that they are better but sad that the games I listed were so lazy with their animations. Animations for the guns make the game I am sorry, specially a game about guns or war. And the sounds are amazing, I honestly feel like I am listening to someone at the range testing out all these cool weapons.

These animations aren't better, they're just longer. If they put animations of this duration in Battlefield and CoD, a reload would be getting you killed a lot more often, and that's not what people like or want. They have no excuse for bad sound design though, this game pretty much nails it in that department.
***** Actually no, these animations ARE actually better, take it from me! as a 3D animator observing all 3 games' animation, CoD misses out a lot on their snap, force and weight, but they get proper fingers right, still their animation is weirdly floaty, BF has weight, force and snap, but most of their animations are stiff as fuck, fingers are sometimes weird, and they also have problems with blending, both sides share these problems as well: clippings, minor details, inconsistency. PR over here on the other hand, be it either LONG or SHORT on the timeline of the animation, they get about 90% of it right, the animations are fluid and they have their proper requirements in FP animation (and animation in general), which is what I mentioned wrong with BF and CoD recently, let's also not forget PR anims are done on a horrible BF2 rig, yet they killed CoD and BF (which both are under much better hand rigs) effortlessly it's just jaw-dropping! In short, the conclusion is this, for the FP animation in between the 3 games, it goes this way pretty much: PR > CoD > BF And just a personal note, I don't like neither CoD's or BF's animation, I actually hate both since the attention and effort given is minor, PR so far is my favorite for FP animation, also this is completely outside of character animation (just in-case you ever are misunderstanding it), and if I ever say something about the character animation, we all know who is the winner, BF (mainly 3 and 4)!

I think it's because without it the animations wouldn't be weighty. They would sacrifice a bit of realism for a better feeling animation.
If 4:20 is what you're referring to, looks like discarding, likewise 6:40 looks the same.
