- Ended up just being my daughter and I heading about 90 miles north to try running dirt oval for the first time. I was pretty nervous thinking I would be so frustrated and wouldn’t like it but they was NOT the case!
I’m knew a handful of people that would be there but was instantly welcomed and the venue was outstanding…
We shared our Team Associated SR10 (She ran rookie and I ran it in “box stock” SR10).
We quickly learned that it was all about throttle control and the amazing part we we learning it together..
I was able to drive a couple different cars (Slash Stock and 13.5 Sprint Car). I burned multiple packs in the sprint and was in love…. Was offered a chassis that uses the B6 platform and I am all in. Going to be fun for sure, we loved it!

Drivers meeting! Good work Dad!!
She’s not pro level yet.. no pass!
This is a "proper-sized" track for cars this scale. Good sliding and good racing!!
Thanks! It’s a great place and gets better every time we go.. I just uploaded all the main events from the season finale.. good racing!
What a nice facility!
Yes! Second year and it’s always improving!
@@aefanboy3464 that’s awesome, welcome to the world of dirt oval!
super Rad man! looks like a lot of fun.... And with all that protein I would not want to ride home with you on a cold day! is there a novice stock slash class or something like that? would be a blast to try it!
Tony Stewart used to own one of these dirt car manufacurers. I cant remember which. Custom Works i think?
Yes he was involved with Customworks.. not sure he’s in it anymore. Lot’s of full scale guys run the Chili Bowl.. I think the guy that won Street Stock is a big time driver.
Can’t drive with that hood on like that. That’s terrible, take that off bud..!
But when you’re from the hood…. You get a pass.
@@aefanboy3464 ;) you do need your peripheral to see the track though, especially when it’s close to the drivers stand, it helps.
You are correct. But you can see this whole track hooded. Check out my latest!
@@aefanboy3464 either way, as long as you’re running it and tinkering with ;) I remember my first was Traxxas Nitro Street with a corvette looking body… oh dear it took me close to a year just to figure out how to get the engine tuned to where it runs reliably 🤣still have that old thing, ashamed to say I haven’t run it for close to 15 years…. Keep on keeping on…!
PS the “pro” guys are fast 💪 lovely slides, I’m totally jealous 🔥
