  • The Khama Rhino Sanctuary Botswana
One of my most special visits ever. The Khama Rhino Sanctuary (KRS) in Botswana is a community based wildlife project, established in 1992 to assist in saving the vanishing rhinoceros and restore an area formerly teeming with wildlife to its previous natural state.
They are open to the public for day visits and overnight stays in chalets or camping.
Facilities: Rhino and other game viewing, game drives, a basic shop. Unfortunately no cell signal or wifi #rhino #travel #botswana #africa #5410Africa

Thanks Nick, we just found your channel and are loving it. Enjoy your down to earth style 👍👍. We are based in Germany and are planning an Africa trip in the next year or so. Not sure if it fits with how you want to focus your channel, but for us relative newbies to trans-Africa travel it would be super useful to hear abt your border crossing experiences. Eg. Getting into Bots, what did you need, what does it cost, 3rd party insurance etc. Spending a minute on that as you cross into a new country would be awesome. It's just a suggestion 😀. Happy and safe onward travels - we are along for the ride!!!!

thanks for joining the channel! that is absolutely what I am trying to do, provide information for people that want to travel Africa! Will upload a border crossing vid for you, you are right it is crucial, being from Africa I am so comfortable with crossing borders here🙂 only issue currently is the ever changing regulations. And please keep on giving feedback, I welcome it, will only make the channel better for everyone!

@@NickfrNamibia I wondered about the one in the earlier part of the video, seems liked it had it's horn chopped? And then in the end the marvellous one with the huuuuge horn: fantastic!!
