Hey INFJ here - I think INFJs can stand up for things definitely, but they have difficulties finding things they can stand up for because of the endless possibilities the way things can be seen :) So INFJs need their time to get some idea of the thing by analysing all the different points of view and combining them with their core values - but afterwards they can be very clear about, what is right and wrong for them. They just need their time and some life experience. (don't judge me for my English, i'm not a native speaker ;)
I agree, INFJs can stand for their ideas if they think it's worth it. I'm an INFP and i dated an INFJ. As a matter of fact we ended up breaking up partly because she wouldn't accept our divergences and i constantly felt juged. But the INFJxINFP bonding was great because we both had this will of to become a part of the other and know everything about them.
@@CountryFrenchyBoy I think the initial chemistry can be very good because both parties want a very deep connection, both parties tend to have "similar vibes" yea but in the long term depending on the infp and infj, it might be hard. Because how their mind works is literally the opposite, infj might be too judgy for infp, infp might be too out of touch for infj and so on
@@jadececi7653 i think infj x infp could work pretty well because they are very similar how they connect to world. But in terms of dynamic, maybe you're right and infj x infp is not optimal for long term relationship. As a male infj I found out, that i appreciate the extroverted outgoing nature of people - i see it like a good motivation, for good habits that bring me out of ni-ti. So INFJ x ENxx probably could work well i think. ENxx could also profit from INFJs focus and vision - especially ENxP. But i don't have too much experience to be really sure about that.
My INFJ best friend never stood up for me, instead laugh along at mean remarks. Their Fe probably thinks “most people find that funny, so it should be harmless”. It’s a common Fe thing, where else us Fi would stand up for our friends, even behind their backs. Had an INFJ friend who a classmate made a mean ‘joke’ about his mom, and he laughed it off. Me(enfp) and another enfp friend questioned him why he laughed when that guy insulted his mom to his face, and told him he shouldn’t laugh and that guy was mean.
INFJs do definitely stand up when something goes against their principles/values. Most things, however, are so mundane that it's not worth the effort. (Or when the matter is simply not black and white and therefore more than one position can be justified. We have a more balanced approach but do not mess with our values. :) )
This was so fun to watch, also I always feel refreshed to see INFP put at the top because, well, there are always going to be those opinions about 'there is no compatibility because they share the same functions' which messes with my head due to all of my close INFP relationships lol. In the early days of MBTI I remember telling some girl I knew she was ENFJ, based on our chemistry, which was completely wrong and she was INFP and kind of got annoyed at me lol
People really say that people with the same functions have no compatibility? I don't disbelieve you that they say it, it's just a bit shocking they'd say something so stupid. I'm an ESTJ and from my experience, I've gotten along much better with other ESTJs, they're the easiest type for me to talk to, the hardest type for me to talk to is probably INFJ. As for how I get along with INFPs, who I share the same functions with but in a reverse order, it's not some fairytale romance where it's some great match, it's like a candle, it looks and smells nice, but put any friction in there, and it'll burn until there's nothing left.
@@Shale240 Yeah it's like this theory of compatibility out some parts of the MBTI world, that Fi craves Fe and Ne craves Ni and so on, that Si hates Si. It doesn't really work. But yeah, I see this too with ESTJ-ESTJ pairs or really, any pair - being the same type really just helps in terms of understanding, and I also think finding someone else of your same type means you can learn a lot from each other really easily, since you possibly have very similar learning styles. Hm I agree about the INFP ESTJ relationship haha, the candle analogy works very well.
@@vondelpete I'm glad you liked my analogy, I like making them lol. Did you mean Si hates Se or does Si hate Si because of the different Si experiences that people might have? Learning styles makes sense why my ISFJ friend doesn't learn the same way that I do, the way he does things confuses me, but different types have different learning styles. I didn't actually know that, I know it should be obvious, but I didn't think about it, so thanks for pointing it out. What's your learning style?
@@Shale240 Oops. I meant to say 'craves' not 'hates'. There's a theory that Si types are attracted to Se types. Which I think is true some of the time and not other times. That makes a lot of sense, ISFJs learn in a very, very different way to ESTJs. I wish I could point to what an actual 'learning style' is. But a lot of the time I think it's just about shared cognitive functions: I can learn easily from ISTJ and ESTJ types too, as long as we all get to the same speed lol. But an ESTP on the other hand is very hard for me to learn anything from.
@@vondelpete That makes sense, I can see that being the case for me in regards to Se. I like them in small doses, but if I had to be around them 24/7 one of us would be dead, and it'd probably be me and I don't like the thought of that very much lol. It's funny you mention an ESTP being hard to learn from because I was going to say that I've actually learned something from an INFP but I can't recall ever learning anything from an ESTP. Don't get me wrong, they're not dumb at all, ESTPs are actually very underrated in terms of intelligence, it's just that ESTPs and ENTPs, with their tert Fe they tend to like trolling me so I don't take them seriously, and if I don't take someone seriously, I find it hard to learn from them.

Also it seems like ISTP and INTP are the worst type editions are getting popular on the channel. Also, I am an ENTP, and I see on websites people are saying ESTP and ENTP don't get along well. Do you think that's true? Also, congrats on getting 9K subs!
I have a theory that INFP, not ENFP, is the "golden" match for INTJ, because ENFPs might be a bit too much for the socially introverted, reserved INTJs, but INFPs are often very intelligent and philosophical, which INTJs tend to like. I think INFP-INFP would not be ideal because they aren't the most practical and may feed into eachother's issues, being introverted they might end up isolating together and spiraling, particularly if unhealthy(neither would INTP-INTP for the same reason, if not worse because they're going to be less comfortable with their feelings and might keep that stuff inside)
In terms of introversion that makes sense. But INTJs might constantly be annoyed at INFP inferior Te. I mean even as an ENFP, I sometimes do get annoyed at the lack of Te in INFP sometimes, and what’s more from an Aux Te like INTJ? So I think both have pros and cons.
Can you make a video of why the golden pair theory sucks (Totally not because I'm biased towards ENTPs and that I think Ne dom + Ne dom so they could understand each others stream of ideas better than any Ni would and their middle functions balance out each others 👀)
I don't agree with you. As an ISFP, an INFP would be one of the last types I'd want to date. We both are passionate and emotional and want to reach our goals, but the problems with INFPs is that it ends at that - wanting, dreaming, and essentially doing nothing. You have passions and that's that - you just have them. That's why I don't understand INFPs (which you kinda like, don't lie, you like being misunderstood) or Ne in general. When I am passionate about something, I go out of my bubble and achieve wonders in the real world. Btw, I am a dude too, and my type of girl, MBTI-wise would probably be ISFJ or ENFJ, but I don't feel like elaborating on that. And one more thing - you really think that similar equals easy? Are you serious? Especially with Fi-doms this can't be farther from truth. We all have passions, but we might have different passions and don't click very well, the only good thing is that we will leave the other Fi-dom alone to pursue their passion because I know how much it means to them. That's my stance as an ISFP, you don't get to see ISFPs much on these kind of videos, because, like Kristin said once "we are out there Se-ing" and that's true. In this case, if you want to date an ISFP, think about what I said because you will be disappointed later on. But I assume your girlfriend is Ne too, so be together happily!
Now I see why your "You are not an INTJ" video was so wrong, you don't get them at all, lmao, as well as most other types, but it still was fun to observe. My INFP SO was STRONGLY disagreeing on every point together with me ahaha (your friendly ENTP)
