  • Here are 3 exercises for all levels to help work on your coordination at the piano. They specifically target hand-switching and sound pretty calm, so it might help prevent stressing you out while practicing (although they will feel disorienting).
*on the day of uploading -- I'm currently editing my way through a long-awaited video about how I did research on Liszt in Weimar, as well as a few other things that will eventually be uploaded. Thank you for your patience between uploads, and make sure you have the notifications on. Many people have been asking me where I've been, only to discover that TH-cam hasn't been notifying them for the past few months.

      2. Play piano for over 20 years
      3. ???
      4. Profit
And there you have it, an easy, quick-to-follow formula

I always hated what many teachers would get you to do regarding musical exercises, or just random advice from others being equolly non-musical. They just weren't very fun playing or listening to.
But your exercises have never failed to be both, from what I can remember. I hope in time, history refers back to your exercises, and that you'll be as ubiquitous as Hanon.

If I could request one video I can't find on youtube is(a longer video) 20min+ called: The Ultimate Practice Routine - Where you go through several daily exercises that would eventually elevate familiarity and overall skill with all things piano playing for intermediate players.
Being pulled in all directions it would be nice to have something like that where you feel confident you would be on the right path if you just did several of the ex. every single day for weeks/months and years. That would be my request! :)
