One died when I was 6 or 7 and he was a pretty cranky type, so I really haven't suffered any loss of someone I knew well. The closest I've got to it was a girl I dated for a month in high school who was killed 18 months later in a car accident but I didn't know her that well and that was decades ago now.

I'm 77, she's always been there. I can remember this frail looking young lady at her coronation wearing that huge crown and feeling so sorry for her, I was 7. To be honest, I have felt sorry for her all my life. She put her duty to her country before living any sort of normal life. My Queen never had a paddle in the sea or bought a bag of chips.
World Leaders, Presidents, Prime Ministers, Foreign Spokespersons, Talented Celebrities....and Harry Styles. Amazing how many people showed their love and respect for HM.
I can't even begin to imagine what shoreless grief, devastation and loss must've the members of British Royal family felt when her Majesty the Queen passed away.. and how many people shared that sensation.. What would Elizabeth the second have to say about the current world situation if she were alive.. Her wisdom as well as all other traits will be missed both dearly and deeply.

We can aknowledge there are several forms of governements and Constitutionnal Monarchy is one of them, so we just admire the historic figure she was (a woman with defaults but still a brillant, smart woman and a great symbolic leader since WW2)

I and my twin sister were born in 1956, my dad was in the royal navy serving the Queen lol . he was on the Britannia then after that on lots of ships etc all over the world as his employer was the QUEEN . He retired at 40 those were the rules , he got a job in the Midland bank for the next 20 years
