I can see William being inspired by his grandmother's legacy. This is what fuels his dedication as he goes about his Royal duties, that he is fulfilling something greater than himself.
I agree 100 percent, this is William’s calling, you can see it on him. He has the stature of a king. The betrayal of his brother will only make him stronger. Betrayal is a deep cut but time will heal his heart. I think most of us can relate to being betrayed and if you haven’t yet, your time will come.
So well said by Dame Helen. I understand why Prince William was near tears as I think Dame Helen’s speech was spoken from the heart. The Queen meant, and still does mean, a great deal to the people of Britain, and of course, millions of people around the world. She will be missed forever. God bless the Queen.

@@jamielyallleathan Of course it wasn't! Life never is a bed of roses. The United Kingdom was only formed about 300 years ago and our history and pre-history goes back much further than that, as anyone who has studied history knows. The Island of Great Britain has been invaded and occupied many times, by Romans, Angles, Saxons, Vikings, and Normans. Thousands of years before they came along, waves of migrating people from as far away as Siberia and Turkey and all around the Mediterranean came to what is now the island of Great Britain crossing and settling Doggerland, an area of land, now submerged beneath the North Sea, that connected Britain to continental Europe. It was flooded by rising sea levels that caused a tsunami around 6500-6200 BC. Doggerland stretched from what is now the east coast of Great Britain to what are now the Netherlands, the western coast of Germany and the Danish peninsula of Jutland. We are the sum of all of that, the good, the bad and the ugly, but we survived and adapted and are carrying on through the many changes that present themselves. Nothing is perfect, but some things are better than others. There is no question that Queen Elizabeth was a very remarkable person.

Why why does everyone care how Harry feels? How he treated The Queen and The Duke in their final days...he should NOT be invited to the coronation. Beautiful tribute.

As an American, my first meeting of Queen Elizabeth II was as a small child watching her coronation on TV. I fell in love with this most beautiful lady and have loved her ever since! I cried for her as I watched her standing in the rain watching her beloved Windsor Castle burn, at her dear sister’s funeral & soon after her beloved Mother’s. My heart broke for her as she sat alone at Prince Phillip’s funeral, she looked so small &.devastated. She was a true Queen in every sense of the word, an extraordinary woman, respected by all world leaders. I am 78 years old now & feel like I’ve lost a member of my own family. She was always my Queen, too! I miss her & will until the day comes the Lord calls me home. I know I will finally get to meet her there after all these years. I loved her, too. And I am certain that Prince William and Princess Catherine when it is their turn be wonderful monarchs when it is their turn to do so. Lovely and sincere speech for a very GRACIOUS LADY, Queen Elizabeth ll ❤😇. It's probably still emotional for William and Catherine at times considering how close they'd become to the Queen and was looking forward to being closer to her with their move before she passed. They both probably miss her soft voice giving them wise advice even on daily topics. It's not been that long, still seems like she's going to be seen with her dogs somewhere at times.

Hello from NJ I sometimes ask my son do you think about me and his answer was every time I look at a mirror and William sees Diana all the time the same way. I wonder if people sometimes say that to him?
Queen Elizabeth ll and Prince Philip got married a few weeks before I was born in 1947. I am American born & raised, and I had great respect and admiration for her as a woman and a leader of her people. I shed more tears at her passing than anyone I’ve ever known other than my mom, who passed away at age 91 not long before.QE2. The Queen will be missed by nations around the world.
There is a lot of weight on William and Katherine’s shoulders and I could feel his emotion of being about more than just his love for the Queen. He has overcome so much and did not ask for this role but handles it in the most dignified manner. He will make an amazing King and his grandmother will be watching over him every step of the way. This was a beautiful tribute ❤. With Love from the USA 🇺🇸
From the commonwealth here, my parents respect her as they were alive before my country gained independence from the crown. I have high respect for her & look forward to what her legacy encourages
Her Majesty was one year younger than my dear mother. It was like losing her again when The Queen passed on. Rest in Paradise Momma and Your Royal Highness.
Time and time again I have noticed them using Kate Middleton. Will they still be calling her Kate Middleton when she becomes Queen? She is Catherine Princess of Wales. Again if this is the case that people are using maiden names, then why don't they call Camilla, Charles wife Camilla Parker Bowles, or Camilla Shand?
I thoroughly admired Helen Mirren's portrayal of our late Queen in the stage play "The Audience". Queen Elizabeth II will never be forgotten for her inspirational leadership and dedication to her country and the Commonwealth of nations. May she rest in peace.

And I am certain that Prince William and Princess Catherine when it is their turn be wonderful monarchs when it is their turn to do so. I only hope that Australia stays a part of the Commonwealth for us to also celebrate with them when the time comes.
I couldn't help but cry at this beautiful tribute
What a great tribute to the late Queen Elizabeth 😢🙏🏼❤️
Who wouldn’t be moved the Queen was loved by the world.
I think there are quite a few ex-colonies that wouldn't pi$$ on her if she was on fire. And she paid for a cover up of her sex-trafficking pedo son Andrew. Never forget that. Horrible evil racist pit of vipers.
*sigh its still hard to believe shes gone 😞
Who could watch this and not be moved to tears. May her memory be a blessing.
I love Helen Mirren she's an amazing actress. That was a beautiful tribute she payed to the late Queen. Very emotional. It's hard to believe she's no longer with us.
Brought a tear to my eye too. Thank you, Ma'am, for everything
Tribute speech .. an annual component of the Bapta presentation. Thank you Ms. Helen for your graciousness. Ms. Walker
Mrs or miss, no such word as Ms
Lovely and sincere speech for a very GRACIOUS LADY, Queen Elizabeth ll ❤😇. It's probably still emotional for William and Catherine at times considering how close they'd become to the Queen and was looking forward to being closer to her with their move before she passed. They both probably miss her soft voice giving them wise advice even on daily topics. It's not been that long, still seems like she's going to be seen with her dogs somewhere at times.
My goodness this made me teary eyed
Though I'm not British but I am honoured to have been born at an age when such a person was alive
Helen said she had a little cry in rehearsals but was determined not to on the night .
I still get a tear when I see the Queen and will for a long time .I adored her 💕.
Beautiful tribute to a beautiful Queen ❤️🇦🇺
Beautiful tribute to a beautiful Queen 💕
Just hearing HM QUEEN ELIZABETH II voice brought on tears. God bless your majesty, you are dearly missed.
What a beautiful tribute to our amazing dignified and hard working Queen. Her motto was "never complain never explain" and she did right till the very end. RIP Your Majesty. You'll always be missed.
Such a touching tribute by Helen Mirren, brought back all the feelings and tears of having lost one of the great women of the world.
Such a mentor to all women who wanted a strong example of the power we can have. She will be truly missed. Such a classy woman, strong and wise. God bless her🙏
How beautifully said 🙏😪we miss you, Our Queen 💔🇭🇲
A lovely tribute from Dame Helen Mirren to our late Queen. May she rest in peace.
I’m Ms. Helen Mirren fan and I love her more now a days❤️❤️❤️
Didn't expect to find myself with watering eyes and needing to wipe my nose (again) watching this moving tribute. Thank you 😔🙏
Simply so heartfelt and the Prince and Princess of Wales are so regal and adorable.
Beautifully said Dame Helen. I had tears Glorious Queen Elizabeth ii. Our Leading Lady ♥️💙♥️💙♥️💙♥️
RIP Queen Elisabeth II and Prince Philipp. 💞
This brought tears to my eyes, and I'm American. Beautiful tribute.
She misses you too William.
😘🇨🇦
Hello from NJ
I sometimes ask my son do you think about me and his answer was every time I look at a mirror and William sees Diana all the time the same way.
I wonder if people sometimes say that to him?
@@emilyrandall9968 Well put, Emily. I think that she may be a little preoccupied with Harry right now , but a point very well taken.
@@wavewatcheri1613
Who isn't preoccupied by Harry?
@@emilyrandall9968 Again, well put, Emily!
Helen Mirren what an icon ...such a beautiful speech honoring HMTQ never to be forgotten. 💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕
A truly beautiful tribute. A goosebumps moment.
I was moved to tears as well . A beautiful tribute to the Queen!💖
I cried!! The world will miss her presence and grace!! I've loved her since I was a little girl and my grandmother had her picture on the wall!! 😍🥰
No body can wear her shoes. She was exceptional Lady I miss her so badly.
To see the queen in her youth always takes my breath away. I could not amagine what privlige it was to be her grandson.
I love how they are forever evolved to each new experience as if it's their first and how they enjoy being there with each other!❤❤
RIP OUR DEAR, DEAR QUEEN ELIZABETH.😢🕊💔
Her Majesty was one year younger than my dear mother. It was like losing her again when The Queen passed on. Rest in
Paradise Momma and Your Royal Highness.
Queen Elizabeth was one of a kind❤ you will never find another one like this gem rest in peace Queen rest in peace🙏🏻
Beautiful tribute to The Queen. Lovely to see Prince William and Princess Catherine in attendance.
His wife is the Princess of Wales
Thank you. People are so ignorant.
@@susanashcroft2674Excellent point, thank you.
I thoroughly admired Helen Mirren's portrayal of our late Queen in the stage play "The Audience". Queen Elizabeth II will never be forgotten for her inspirational leadership and dedication to her country and the Commonwealth of nations. May she rest in peace.
Beautiful speech, I mean it literally brought me to tears and the speech from HM wow her voice is beautiful and the way she spoke was always genuine,
Miss seeing her💕
Your Majesty you are truly missed.
He wasn’t the only one who got choked up and cried! There is so many of us who loved her and miss her!!!

Prince William will definitely follow in our late Queen's footsteps 👍 also this mother's(she thought him compassion and understanding of the ordinary person) 💙💙
I miss Queen Elizabeth II so very much. ❤️
That was the greatest tribute to our Majesty Queen Elizabeth as she always had a positive impact on us that she will forever be remembered and love ❤️
She left a positive impact on us? Lmao, you can’t say that while knowing she protected Prince Andrew 🤢
Our Queen will live on regardless of her passing. R.I.P. Our forever Queen ❤
I'm tearing 😥, I missed the Queen Elizabeth II.
Thank you very much Helen Mirren. ❤️
Beautiful tribute!
Thank you for sharing your Queen with the world. I live in the states. I always admired her and what she embodied. The monarchy is very much revered for so much of the world. I greatly admire the Prince and Princes of Wales. I loved the Queen. I admire England. 💗💗
