Beans with Onions, Bud Spencer style / Szoky's kitchen

Beans with onions, the way I enjoy it. I hope I will be able to convince you to try this recipe, just another tasty way to cook beans.
If you make this lovely dish, you will be amazed by the delicious and satisfying result, guaranteed.
To make this recipe, you can use any type of beans. If you are using smaller size beans, such as navy beans, the cooking time will be less.
If you prefer, you can reduce the liquid to get a thicker sauce or serve it with more juice, it is entirely up to you.

Ingredients:
400 gr (2 cups) mixed beans
200 gr (~7 oz) lean bacon
100 gr (~3.5 oz) fatty bacon
4 onions
4-5 cloves garlic
1 tablespoon sugar
salt
3-4 bay leaves
Cayenne pepper
basil
freshly ground mixed pepper
100 gr (~1/2 cup) tomato sauce
