Just saw the video, Im a fan of shotgun swapping so I tried the sawed off & repulsor and fell in love. I just put on the provisioners ring for auto ammo refill and hunter ring for that sweet weakpoint dmg. And oh boy it shreds. Love ur vids
Yea this game has so many powerful, fun and unique builds. That's what I love about Remnant. People love their beam rifle / swarm. I'm here to show them that there are plenty other builds to try.

Great video dude, was hoping for a Hunter set build. Quick question: I heard that some bosses (The Ent and Singed) already have a 100% weakspot multiplier, therefore the hunter set weakspot bonus damage wouldn’t add any damage?
I love Hunter and the Hunting Rifle. While perhaps not the outright MOST powerful thing in the game, the armor set and lore look cool, and the rifle both looks cool, sounds cool, is fun to use, and extremely versatile. I tend to be the designated marskman/sniper in my friend group, and a stealth midlong-to-long range player in FPS games in general, so picking the Hunter was the obvious no-brainer to me when me and my friends started Remnant the first time. And I've never regretted it. Most games, the starting gear is just filler until you get better, but Remnant did a decent job of balancing most gear to be useful at end-game, and the Hunter Set and Hunting Rifle, in particular of all the starting gear. Be it big damage with the Sniper/Hunter Rifle and Hunting Pistol/Magnum or some fun builds like these bleed ones, the set and weapon works really well and is consistently good through the whole game. I wish that was as true with the other two starting classes...but I suppose you can't have EVERYthing. God, when is Gunfire coming out with another game already?? XD

I'd settle, at this point, for mere confirmation of "we're working on a game, yes", since as of right now, I don't know what - or if anything - they're working on at all after they finished porting Chronos. They also clearly didn't expect Remnant to be as big a hit as it was, and I think it surprised even them. The reviews pretty much all say it's not a PERFECT game, but it's so fun and has potential if the next one has just a LITTLE more polishing and work around the edges to make it even better. Gunfire is probably thinking that themselves and if they're working on one, plan to take those remarks in mind to make an even better one. I wonder if they DO plan on doing a sequel or if they plan on doing a whole new story, though. But regardless, given the fun I've had with this game, I'm buying whatever they put out next day one if it's in a similar style - namely, something multiplayer I can have fun with my friends.

God damn this is such a beautiful game. Shame I only experienced it because of ps plus. I wanted to ask, do you have any “fun builds” that ARENT too op and require skill? All the builds ive seen are basically meta and while cool, it makes the game boring tbh. I’m interested in the melee tank build, but I’m missing some gear. Also I’ve re-rolled like 30 times and I only get the monkey, no wolf boss. So mad it’s the only boss I need to kill for a platinum trophy lol
Not all of my builds are meta at all. The build in this video is far from meta for example. I have playlist broken into categories. I even have a meta playlist so you can see the difference. Great video! How do you dodge your own shot before the Ent fight? Been trying to replicate that but I can't seem to do it no matter how fast I press the dodge button.

@@BoltJamison armours machine guns or just guns, more rifles, i have beaten almost all bosses, yes i havent killed insect quenn(forgot the name), and i havent revieved that ancient bot near the merchant in sands, it is maybe i didnt kill this guy who asked for heart of swamp world defender(sorry i forgot all names)

I dont think that would be a very informative video as I try to showcase optimal and efficient builds. Unless you just want to see some challenge runs vs bosses using random gear lol
Do hardcore adventure mode first. Dont level up any gear. In adventure mode, the enemies scale to your gear score. So if you are gear level zero, the bosses and enemies will be level zero making it much easier. After you get the rewards from adventure mode, then go on and get the campaign reward.
Hey Bolt, I'm just revisiting this cuz I've been thinking.. How would you feel about a version of this based around onyx pendulum + hunting rifle + repeater pistol / jungle god pistol? The hypothesis is that these weapons all come closest to 10 shots for the pendulum, and you could add more base damage with rings. Alternatively, you could use the repeater pistol to charge up the repulsor, and unleash hell with it when the enemies come out of stasis

@@killerwsob3269 whatever you feel comfortable with and have access to. If you can get the labyrinth set and make a build early on, then that's great but you may get Labyrinth after boss 10. It's all luck of the draw
isn't it better for a critical build utilizing hero's charged attack to just go for butcher's fetish instead of polished+razorstone? you sacrifice a ring slot for just 10% more crit damage, that ringslot could be occupied by a bunch of stuff that are much more potent (20% crit damage, ranged+weakspot damage etc)
Hey bolt have you ever thought about doing a “boss guide” of sorts for every boss in the game? I think it’d be interesting, seems like you’ve got their move sets downloaded into your brain lmao
Has anyone had the issue when you get to load a certain character into solo the game crashes? My 2nd and 3rd are able to be played and I can play my first on someone else's host but if I select him to start game crashes

Yes those bosses do have big weakspot modifiers. Hunters set won't make much of a difference on them

Switch to the hive mod, aim at the ground and shoot and dodge at the same time. A little tricky but with practice, you will get it.

In the bottom right you always have multiple buffs or consumables active, what are all the consumables that are active?
Those are the 1hr consumables. You can get them from their respective vendors
