The 90 degree one has changed my life. I have to make sure I stretch my QL Muscle and my iliopsoas and it's really helped with my traction. Went from 3 bulging discs to a healthy spine and back to exercising. I try to go for 3-5 sets of 30 seconds when I can, at least 3 times a day. This video deserves more attention because it's effective and free.
The 90/90 with knees bent and up on a chair (feet pressing against back of chair) is the same principle used in that Low-Back Trax device sold on QVC. No need to spend $40 when you can do this and the other methods recommended on this video. Kudos for this instructional!
So I did the 90/90 traction and about 2 minutes in I felt this very significant "POP!" in the lumbar area that caught me off guard. It happens when I feel extremely tight in the lower back and it provides a lot of relief when it happens. Not sure if I'm doing more damage or not...
Hi this is very helpful . I have a annular tear in my lower back can I do these stretches to help ? My left foot is also very uncomfortable 24/7 even lying down I still can't sleep .
Thanks for your kindness is presenting this. But I could no more get down on the floor and do this, than I could fly to the moon with a jet pack. You really cannot do much of anything with six bulging discs.
Sometimes in the 90/90 traction I feel a pop or a clunk happen in my lumbar spine. It actually causes a lot of relief but it's still kind of startling. Is this normal or is this causing damage?

Thank you for this video. It's the best one I've seen on youtube. I have some unilateral stenosis issues in the L3 area.
Excellent demonstration and instructions. Thank you. All the best. Mitch
The 90 degree chair position really helps. I have a disc herniation in the L5-S1 region pressing on my nerve. That exercise gave me some relief.

William Smith maybe try stretching your hips beforehand? I stretch everything before I decompress and I get a much better decompression
Gold!
