- In this video, Mick Hill visits Lanzhou in China to take part in a Chinese 8 ball tournament and he managed to capture parts of the trip. Along with some special guests Chris Melling, Arfan Dad, Jack Whelan, Jorden Shepherd, Steven Maguire, Jason Theron and Daniel Womersley.
This trip was June - July 2023. Next trip is in August 2023.

Great video as always Mick. As for the stuffy waistcoat and long sleeved shirt, it's something I have never agreed with in pool sports. Sadly stuck in the dark ages, snooker and some 8 ball events are probably exclusive in that the dress code acts as a hindrance to best performance.

The chap you played at 1000ft was Wang Peng's cousin. He was going to rub the table like Wang did against an English guy some years ago. He knew it wouldn't work on that table though. Great video of life in China for a pool player

With the tanle on the mountain top being as good as the Dog and Gun and it bringing your game down to a more human level, does that mean if I or any other player who play at a Dog and Gun or equivalent played on the Ultimate Pool tables it would bring our game up by as much. I know the answer is no 😂

I understood the scoring system more or less but I would like to know all the rules about how matches for money work. That is my question.
