This was a unique way to continue to show how Chucky is real. Just grounding the show in reality. Glen is clearly a Mama's Child. Would probably do anything for her. Glenda on the other hand is so intriguing. Casually carries around arsenic and knives I love it!!
It's an interesting reversal, considering that at the end of "Seed of Chucky", it's sorta implied that Glenda is more the favored child, what with seeing Jennifer murder the nanny and then sharing that secret "Sssshh" moment with her.

People expect the show to be one thing or the other instead the show is alot of things at different times. I think people didn't like this episode because they didn't get that it was a direct reference to one of Jennifer Tilly's most iconic movies "Bound" and this was a truly meta episode. But it didn't focus on Chucky so people who watch for Chucky. Plus this season isn't as dark and gritty but that tends to happen when you focus on more on side characters like Tiffany. FYI Liv Morgan of WWE fame is one of us a Horror fan and wanted to be on Chucky so this was a dream for her.

Seed of Chucky was insane when it first came out and it was only fitting that the first episode with Glen and Glenda back be absolutely crazy!😂😂 I was looking forward to seeing how the twins would be introduced and what would continue from Seed, if Glenda would still be evil and Glen would still be a good kid. That was the same as I thought but I didn't know they were going to make it as if the twins didn't remember anything from their childhood. That was a fun ride the way that unfolded. I can't wait to see more interactions between Glenda and Chucky. Glenda was the child that carried the "evil killer" traits from her dad so I was always ready for their reunion.
This was an amazing episode. 4th wall, begone. Nice to see that Glen bonded with Nica. Whereas Glenda was more affiliated with Chucky. This episode was chaotic.

Most but not all nonbinary people dress this way but it is an accurate portrayal of the outfits. Also it's just actor (since actor is a universally used term) as the actor is also non-binary. So that's why they were casted as well.

When I saw Meg Tilly I was like OH SHIT! I saw her in the movie Agnes of God (good movie) and didnt know about Jennifer Tilly till later, when Chucky said, never heard of it I laughed so loud. From what I remember in Seed of Chucky Glenda had more of a killer instinct than Glen, more of a daddy's girl and Glen is more of a momma's boy and more timdi or scared to kill.

To answer the questions at the end, both Glen and Glenda were helping Nica escape, Kyle asking for them proved it, they were all going to get Nica out of the house and drive away. Glenda however was also talking to Chucky, and he convinced her to help him kill Tiffany. I'm assuming she's also the one who left the doll head in Tiffany's bed. The big question now is, how did they get it, but i'm sure that will be explained in later episodes.

This is like the polar opposite of Childs Play 3. Plus, watching your reaction video to Chucky 3 kind of brought the nostalgia back and also how it had such a dark and "masculine" tone to the whole movie. Where as the Chucky TV series; this episode in particular, completely switches that entire tone on its ass and delivers some incredibly fun content. I miss that darker tone though, I won’t lie. I think Chucky needs to be scary again. Also to keep people interested in the show. I want it to run as long as The Walking Dead!

Since it's clear who their favorite parent is. So it makes sense they went into the car with Nica as they want to spend more time with Chucky.

I liked Season 1 but this season isn't doing it for me. It's too much like Seed where instead of treating it with a certain level of seriousness but not taking it completely seriously and having fun they're not taking it seriously at all and doing silly things for the sake of it. To an extent Chucky's a silly concept but they don't have to treat him and the series like a total joke.
im not enjoying this season at all tbh, i loved the previous ones writing and kills and imo perfect balance of horror drama and comedy... i feel like this one goes too hard into the comedy and silliness, that often doesnt land very well with me, and also the pacing and the dramatic scenes dont fully land with me either. this episode was really fun, though. most of all i think lachlan watson really managed to anchor the whole silliness and comedy of the more ridiculous murder mystery stuff with their own very well acted and written dramatic scenes. its just my opinion of course but i do hope the rest of the season can get back to balancing those elements a bit better, especially with the scenes with the kids, which i feel are dragging out a lot. at least in my case, i have fun with the chucky series but i mostly want to see that element of real emotion in the middle of the absurd and weird.
I kind of thought Chucky set the escape up with Nica, Glada and Kyle. Cause Chucky is in Nica's mind and there working together because Nica want to escape Tiff, Glada wants to meet their Dad and With Kyle i kind of thought maybe somehow Chucky knew how to contact her and force her to help, because i think he has Andy. That the only reasons i can come up with that has all three working together.
Season 2 so far has some unnecessary moments. Example the talk show moment was dumb. It's like an alternate Universe. And the Glen/Glenda characters eh not a fan of. I feel like this show is turning into a parody.

Season 2 so far has some unnecessary moments. Example the talk show moment was dumb. It's like an alternate Universe. And the Glen/Glenda characters eh not a fan of. I feel like this show is turning into a parody.
This episode for me is so bad and bored, except the ending :(
