I couldn’t imagine letting one of my students badmouth another kid’s parent without receiving a proper punishment. Especially when that parent is dead. That montage of pictures that Stitch took was one of the most satisfying moments in the whole franchise.
This is one of the strongest direct to dvd Disney sequels. I like how the story focuses on the background and development of Stitch but also adding more to Lilo’s character with the knowledge of her mother. The emotional moments hit the notes, especially at the end, I still cry at it some.
You're talking about Kronk right? Because I one hundred percent keep forgetting it exists. I even remember the show more often than I remember that movie.@@TheKyrix82
Fun Fact: Stitch coming back is a alt ending they had to make because he did, in fact, stay dead. But it was so sad, it made all the kids in the test audience cry their souls out, so they had to change it.
The hatred my mom and I have for the hula teacher is so strong. Myrtle sucks, but the teacher just lets her bully Lilo and gets angry when she defends herself.
What a great sequel this is! Getting more in depth with our title characters and the struggles they go throughout the film is the kind of premise that makes this film shine. And the emotional aspect of the writing, music, and acting really seals the deal, especially with the ending. Top tier Disney sequel, ngl!
Am I wrong to compare the poor man with the ice cream to the cabbage man in Avatar the Last Airbender? 😂 I can't help but imagine him going "MY ICE CREAM! 😭" 😂 Anyways on a more serious note, Stitch's "death" always gets to me. It's especially heartbreaking seeing Nani mourn him cause it's so sweet how she hated him at first but eventually grew to love him.
29:59 - 30:45 I watched the Lilo and Stitch show religiously when I was a kid. Throughout the entire series Jumba and Pleakley basically acted like an old married couple. They were DEFINITLY doing the devils tango 😂
This movie definitely got to me in both Laughter & Saddness - In the DVD there is a short called “The Origin of Stitch” which shows Stitch discovering that their are other experiments making a connection with “Stitch The Movie” - The movie that the ohana was watching is the 1954 movie called “Them!” - Notice Pleakley in the movie was wearing a Tigger (from Winnie the Pooh) slipper on one of his feet
The Preakley reaction gag reminded me that Cartoon Network LA had an TH-cam gaming channel of the VA actors of Mordecai and Rigby do gameplays and sometimes do gameplays against others VA characters like Gumball and Drawing
This movie got some funny and dark moments I look back at. Seeing Stitch nearly died was the most saddest part I've cried. Everybody hates Myrtle because she's so mean and cruel to Lilo. Ohana holds us together and can never separated from each other 😱😱😱💖💖💖🤣🤣🤣
Sad no one really brings up how the other girls called out Myrtle's behavior when bringing up Lilo's dead mom, so satisfying and wholesome to see and listen to as the girls account for "not everyone has a mom, Myrtle".
27:18 Kauai, the island these movies are based on has 1 major road that travels 70% of the rim of the island. Some small roads going in, but the main one on the rim is how you travel a distance. A year earlier, a couple who had just married going to the airport was taken out on a road similar to this in the movie at the 2o'clock position of the island. That's volcano island life: landslides, floods, tsunamis and volcanos. My month there, there were 2 floods, a land slide a tsunami warning, but I'm sure that volcano's cooking up something... 😅
17:00-17:03, 21:45-21:51 Pleakley tried to make Nani jealous with David. I love their reactions where he dresses up as an exchange student and matadora and saying, "Are you jealous?" 🔥🔥🔥🤣🤣🤣

That scene at the end is what I always thought about when I thought about eventually saying goodbye to my dog Target, and sure enough that practically what I said to him when his time came…
Same reason as those that find out they have cancer but don't make a big deal, or because he knew he could put the time to better use by making the machine.
Not gonna lie, the hula dancing teacher kinda sucks. I know he's not a mean guy and he means well but how is he so oblivious to Myrtle's behavior and only notices when Lilo acts up? He reminds me of the parents from Home Alone. Only disciplines Kevin but never his shitty brother Buzz.
28:40 I couldn’t even imagine how heartbreaking this scene would be if this was made after the series ended. I’d imagine how the other experiments would have reacted. Especially Angel. She would have been heartbroken.
When I first watched this movie, it was around the time that I had watched The Iron Giant and I thought this movie took place after the tv series(it takes place before). So I legitimately thought stitch was going to die and that's how they were ending the franchise. I was like 8 to be fair. But I was genuinely starting to process the greif of "losing Stitch" and "mourning" his death, during that scene. I actually had a hard time enjoying the fact that he survived. Like I was happy that he was alive, but I had just started to process the greif of him dying and had, for the most part, accepted his death(very quickly).
Who’s gonna win in a meet up? With those tree n throw in susie for back up. I think Angelica would totally give Myrtle a run for her money. I got susie for lilos back up if she teams up with susie.
