G's depreciated like a mofo.. bought one for like 10k... 7AT and haven't really been spanked. Ran a recent 10AT Camaro and lost but not by much, can't complain for a sedan with an auto They are fast for the price, that's for sure. Plus for a N/A V6 the sound ls like a perfect trumpet.

The 5.0 needs a driver mod. My 5.0 is a 2015 GT FBO E85 making ~450whp screaming to 7600rpm. He has so much more to go in the rev range. Very nice to see a fast G37, not too many around where I live making serious power.

Followed him, he took off at a stop sign with me behind him and I just followed with him through the stop sign and we raced to roughly 125 mph and I was winning him by a half a car before he let off and I was behind him from the beginning. It was a 1 lane road with a middle lane for turning, so I ended up going into that middle lane the whole race so I didn't have to let off. This was years ago ..

It felt pretty decent, I had a b16a2 in a 92 civic 4 door that was nasty, ctr factory cam shafts, ctr factory intake manifold, ctr factory exhaust manifold and cold air intake. Never got it dyno'd but had a chipped ecu and that thing would of smoked my integra, was fully gutted and it weighed 2400 pounds with me in it.

There is no way a 5.0 gets over 30 mpg @80+ mph on the interstate or averages 25 mpg combined like my G37 does, there’s also no way it can run with a 5.0, it’s stock,idk how all those mods effect mpg.

The mustang had full corsa exhaust and headers and intake the infiniti is not FBO E85 its only single exhaust, intakes and E85 , the drag radials where bald at the time but the mustang driver should learn how to drive
Im my humble opinion i think both cars are great i use to own a 94 5.0 gt and always wanted a 350z. I do find the 37s and 50s more apealing tho because of family and at least the mustang has back seats. So there for after watching the entire video ( and again this is my humble opinion) i came to the conclusion that idk what im talking about but i enjoyed the video lol

1 Slow 5.0 back pressure is not a crazy factor but no back pressure at all will cause a drop in performance slightly because it won’t allow for the proper scavenging of exhaust gasses out the cylinder heads which is why performance exhaust are even a thing something about the way the waves of exhaust gasses them selves working in a way to extract the gasses out the heads like I said and also be able to draw in fresh air from the intake side that’s how back pressure and exhaust scavenging work niggas who don’t understand that straight pipe there shit and think because it sounded louder less restricted it’s going faster but it’s the same shit

I can admit that most of the times a mustang can clap me mostly a v8 ofc but sometimes shit happens sometimes a G will will and a G is a pretty damn good bang for your buck if you have a couple more $$ to throw at it you can get a good amount of hp out of it
