You are such an inspiration 🕊️ being in my Bible everyday, grabbing the word before I grab my phone has been the biggest blessing to my motherhood. With God I can do all things, without Him I'm lost.

#5! As a mom of 4 I agree with alll of these! People think we're crazy for doing life WITH our kids as well. We homeschool, are entrepreneurs, we travel, all with our children. It's different to what I was taught as a first-gen Latina but this is what God revealed to us as we have made him the core of our family unit and lives. Great video!

I'm a 38 yo first time mom to a 15mo. I shifted from a career life, moved abroad to pursue missionary life and had our baby last year. It's been challenging! but I LOVE your approach and it is SO SO useful! You inspire me in my motherhood.

Isn’t it crazy that what we call “distractions” (watching tv, scrolling, eating junk food) to distract us from worry actually distracts us from what cures our anxiety and worry? Which is spending time with God.

I’m 26 with a 2 year old and an 8 month old. You had me tearing up at the part about involving kids and letting them choose the pace. I definitely get caught up in my own timeframe and I needed to hear that! Thank you for this video!

Don't have a husband or children yet but I am soaking up your wisdom girl your videos have been sanctifying me in the best way possible. Thank you for loving the Lord with all your being and displaying it in your actions, wish we could sit and have coffee together. I feel like I am preparing for whatever the Lord is preparing me for which is to someday become a wife and mother.❤

Something that I’ve been doing with my son is just being interested and involved in the things he enjoys like Minecraft or building with legos. I find that by being involved and interested it lets him know that I’m there and also to have him explore different things even if it’s not what other kids are doing.

Prayer walks are something I started in 2020 and o have continued to do them as a new mom. Just 30-45 minutes can change your whole day! I did it while I was pregnant and even when my daughter was a newborn I carried her in my arms and just prayed. I do this daily ❤
Pls pray for me and my daughter as I go back to work on the 14th after having the blessing of being able to have an extended maternity leave into 6 months of her life. Also that she starts sleeping through the night. I have loved breastfeeding and keeping that closeness I’ve made a bond with her, but I know for both of us to thrive and not just survive we need sleep.🙏🏼🙏🏼 thank you and God bless ❤

I haven't watched your videos in a long while and this has left me so fulfilled and encouraged! We recently adopted our son who is now 7 months and I've found that it's incredibly easy to put the baby on a "pedestal" per say. I know the order in which God lays out in the Bible and yet it is still so easy to mix things up. I loved the reminder so thank you. I'm definitely saving this one as I know as my boy gets older, I will need more of these truths.

Just want to encourage other moms too- I cut screen time about two weeks ago and at first it was tough. He would tantrum and want it but after a few days of this, he realized it wasn’t coming back and was totally fine with it and doesn’t ask anymore. The craziest part is- his play changed. He would constantly want me to play with him and be entertained and now he goes and plays independently, or will go put his storypod on, and he’s fallen in love with reading and we read at least an hour a day. So it will be ROUGH at the beginning, but the reward for your child is so sweet.

Thank you for this video. I am pregnant with my second and my daughter just turned one. Anticipating two under two has rocked me but I know it is a challenge that is ultimately good for my soul. Mentality is so pivotal to motherhood because we have so much freedom in this role. But the Bible is full of instruction and encouragement and it really helps to know that it is good, important, and seasonal work.

I love the encouragement these videos being. Our family consists of two special needs toddlers so practically speaking I am unable to implement a majority of these but I will say I believe spending time with people who pour into you does bring joy and support we needs as mamas. Husband can’t understand all the ways we are pulled, so good friends bring refreshment. Please keep my family in prayer…our boys are 2 and 3 and navigating special needs has its own hardships…but I rest on “He will keep them in perfect peace who’s eyes are stayed on him because they trust him.”

I have three boys. Mom at 19 then another baby at 22 then again at 29. It’s been only two months since I’ve come across your videos. I am feeling so hopeful that I’m not the only one that has gone or going through everything you spoke about in this video. I’m so blessed to have your channel to help me out during my questions on life because other than the word of God I don’t have family or friends to help pour into topics like this because everyone is in their own journey with God and their family but I pray I find friends and family that understand each other in these areas in life and make change for our babies are selves and our partners as well. Ahhh I can go on and on but that you for ur videos. God bless ❤

I want to add that I don’t regret having them but I have been forgetting to “do life WITH them” and thinking I need to have them sleeping or having quiet time to do certain things and that’s SO WRONG they are the best little helpers! Another thing I do is get triggered with whining or repeated questions..😔 and so my prayer has been that God strip every single part of who I am and add only him inside because he is the PERFECT parent and the PERFECT everything🤍

Milena, I wish you knew how much your channel has blessed me the last several years.
I found your channel a week before I miscarried with my first pregnancy, during the same time my heart was opening up to God after many many years of resenting Him.
The way you carried yourself was so foreign and intriguing to me. You truly helped me understand the real character of God. And I attribute my testimony so much to your channel.
I adore the evolution of your channel. The fruits of your relationship and love for Jesus are so apparent and every time I watch a video I crave more and more of Jesus in my own life.
I pray that I find friends with a heart like yours. I pray that I am that friend.
Thank you so much for be such a blessing. I hope you truly understand the effect of the work you are doing for the Kingdom.

This is a wonderful video, thank you Milena! I've recently had the conviction about reading my bible around my one year old. Her nap times are super inconsistent, so I just wasn't in the word because I wanted the perfect, two hour nap. Really I can get a decent 20 minute stretch of her playing while i read- or if she has to be in my lap, I will read to her!

Lol listening to “kids are so pure” as mine scream at each other over a baseball. They ARE a blessing and they are at times the most innocent little sinners 🤣🤣🤣
They are absolutely the biggest gift other than salvation. They are SUPREMELY forgiving, too. They can be trying to beat on each other and then hugging each other reading books together within 5 minutes. They are the most hilarious and fascinating things I’ve ever seen. ❤❤❤❤❤
P.S. I love that you read your Bible every day because a lot of people take the “motherhood” season off. It’s literally the lifeblood of being a good mom, tho!

Seeing this video makes me think of what my family did when I was a kid that are core memories. I mainly just remember we ate together every single day. Now that we’re older and my sister is out of the house, we really try our best to eat together Saturdays my sister comes over and she eats with us. I try to be intentional about, if I am eating with my family, not being on my phone. My dad is turning 80 in a few months and I am 21 there is probably 2 generations between us and my dads way of being entertained is by conversation, not through his phone and that’s something that I see and I am happy my dad and I are generations apart because I get to connect with him. That’s something I try my best to implement with my boyfriend as well. If we’re together eating I will not be on my phone. I will not answer my phone unless it’s emergent and I pray this intentionality stays, if God wills for us to marry one day because if we are mindful of it, I know we can be intentional with our kids too!

Hi Michelle! I’m so excited to read this!!!! Get a Bible and start reading it from the beginning to the end. Don’t be discouraged if you feel like you don’t understand. Keep going. You will start understanding liiiiitle by little. All I can say is that the word of God is alive!!!! However, I highly highly recommend you to start from the book of Romans first and listening to Pastor Paul from Calvary Chapel Ontario. He explains every single book so well that you can’t have enough!!! That’s how I started my journey as a Christian myself. By understanding the word of God by myself and through this pastor’s teachings!!! Plz tell me how you keep going. Keep asking Christians or even this Pastor any doubt you have. It is great to feel the “spiritual hunger”
God bless you!! Put your trust in Jesus. I started like you! There is nothing better!!!! Blessings !!!

How does tip 6&8 look like when you have a newborn/ infant that depends on you for everything including play time and you have to help them develop. Is that a season where you kinda follow their schedule more than they follow yours? I have an almost 6 month old and I can’t figure out how to play with him as much as possible & best for his development in his wake windows, do things when he’s asleep & get secret time in ❤
