This is one way of Aid climbing in rope access. Other methods exist but aren't as good.
We Train all IRATA levels every week in our 15 meter high indoor training centre in Sheffield. 5 minutes from the train station, and 1 hour by train from Manchester Airport.

Another good video as always. One thing that ive always wondered though, is how are the ropes rigged in the first place? Does it involve lead climbing? Could you please do a video showing how to initially install the ropes before ascending up them and then moving to aid climb? Thanks. Keep up the good work

Can you do a video demo on assisted aid climbing or leed climbing as they call it. Not something covered very well in irata training but can show up in L3 group rescues.

What if this thing you are climbing on was in a 45 degrees angle, like the inside of a roof construction. Would you do something like the last move whit de ID over and over or is there an smarter way? Think I’ve seen all your stuff now but haven’t really got it, is this sorted somewhere?
