I hope folks appreciate how much work you put into this. A massive edit, didn't have your brother to assist with filming, and of course your ease and talented style of flying. So impressive, so inspiring! Thanks for all you do....
I haven’t watched your channel before but am very impressed with your flying skills and the number of aircraft you are certified to fly. You are truly a unique individual. The airlines have nothing to offer you. I believe you would be bored with airline flying from one destination to another. Flying different aircraft must also keep your airman skills sharp. Really enjoyed this video. You earned my subscription!
An absolute masterpiece. Great video, Owen. It was enough work doing all that flying but then adding the filming, talking to us during the flights, and of course the editing once you got home. Videos like this will push you to the top of aviation content creators!
I'm predicting he will be at the top of youtube aviators very soon too! He makes it look so easy, while he maintains a super sharp level professionalism, safety consciousness, flying by the book but it just flows so naturally thru him that it's more relaxing, and easy to watch and sit back and enjoy the ride.
Owen! Great Video! Great Pilot! You remind me of me! This video brought back many flying memories! I lived in Salinas. My dad WW2 B17 Pilot. Did his flight Training Gardner Army Airfield South of Taft, CA. When I was between 8 years old and 12.(60’s & 70’s) My dad would take me up in a Citabria on my birthday’s and fly loops and rolls over the coast of Monterey. My dad had a tractor dealership in Fresno. He had a 1950’s V-Tail Bonanza N8883A and would fly between Salinas and Fresno. (FAT and Chandler) He put his briefcase 💼 on the seat so I can see out the window. He’d throw over the control column and make me fly to Fresno then take a nap! The hangers in Salinas next to Jet Aviation are still there where we had our planes. I have old pictures. My dad and I flew all over California airports selling tractors. Much like what you are doing in this video! We later moved to Lodi California where I started flying lessons at 15. In high school I got my CFI and taught out of Stockton CA. Gottchalks Aviation. Got on their 135 ticket flying 6 airplanes! Later went to SJSU Aviation program. After graduating SJSU taught my sister how to fly at FAT. Got hired at West Air/United Express flying EMB-110 and BA3100/3200. At 26 I got hired at American Airlines 1991. Flew FE DC-10 followed by A300-600R B757/767/777 A319/321. This video of Salinas brought back many fond memories. I meet General Jimmy Doolittle at that restaurant! Got his autograph and walked out to the parking lot talking Aviation. His car had MOH1 on the license plate! When I was a young kid I’d stare at the Aviation Mural on the wall outside the Restaurant. Maybe you can take a video shot of that next video? Anyway, I’m amazed on how flying has changed since my days in the 80’s. At WestAir we only had VOR/ADF/ILS and No Autopilot, paper Jep Charts! We’d fly 6 to 8 legs up and down California with no autopilot in all kinds of weather approaches down to minimums in the Fog! Same with the Jet Stream! BA3100/32. Flying with a autopilot was very rare event for me! I’d fly pitch dark over the Sierras in single engine Cessnas to Reno/Tahoe/Las Vegas! I can’t imagine me doing that right now! You’re a Great Pilot! I enjoy watching your flying around California, all the airports I once flew into. I’m now Medically Disabled living in Florida. Keep up the Great Work!
I just love your videos. I'm 62 years old, so a flight career is off the table. I remember in my younger days Biggles was my hero. I think I have read all Biggles-books, so I had a dream of becoming a pilot. However, my life took a different path. Nothing I regret as such, I have had a good run, regrettably not in aviation. Best wishes from Kim.
A new subscriber here, the amount of work you've put into this video is fantastic. Not to mention just how slick and professional you are as a pilot. I intend to share this videos as much as possible, you deserve 100k+ subs. Thanks for the ride!

Hi Owen, wonderful eventful video, thanks a lot! I wanted to ask you, how does the accounting work for all these flights? Do the airport operators send you an invoice in the mail? How about flight control fees, landing fees, aircraft parking, hangars etc.? Could you please shed some light on that in one of the next videos? Thank you!
Hello Owen...I am not a pilot but saw your channel and decided to check it out. What great videos! For someone as young as you, your knowledge is quite impressive. You should be proud of yourself and will look forward to your next videos. I am a new subscriber for sure!
Love the video! Was a great review of instrument procedures. Just one question - what are you using for your magnetic heading since your magnetic compass is inop? Unless I’ve missed something? Keep up the great work!!
Wow! I’m exhausted just from riding along I can’t imagine the mental workload involved in your day. I am a new subscriber to your channel and I am very impressed with your cadential‘s and how you were talking about networking that is so important in the aviation field. from what you were saying about your training and different I’m guessing your age to be around 25 years old? I could be wrong. But you definitely have a great career I’ve had of you. I always enjoy your videos. Keep it safe.
Hey Owen, huge fan here with a question: Did you file an IFR flight plan to Santa Monica or were they cool with giving you a quick clearance to get below the overcast layer? Thanks in advance.
Still don't understand why Beechcraft decided swapping the flaps and gear handle in their different models was a great idea hahaha. As you said, never a bad idea to verbalize!!
Your day reminds of my friend Terry Baylor who at the age of 16 set the Guinness world record for the most different aircraft soloed in one day, Great video.
