    I tried being a corporate pilot. Didn’t like any part of it. No set schedule. Never know when you will be asked to fly, where you’re going or how long you will stay. You have to be good at weather forecasting.

    • @fighterbomberMiG27
      @fighterbomberMiG27  13 วันที่ผ่านมา +3

      I respect your choice, this job is not for everyone. Some people like a firm schedule and predictability, but people like me like surprises from the company.😀

    • @wallywally8282
      @wallywally8282 7 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      It’s the worst job in GA, looks and sounds glamor but that’s far from the truth!

    • @fighterbomberMiG27
      @fighterbomberMiG27  7 วันที่ผ่านมา +6

      @@wallywally8282 I don't entirely agree with this statement. Generally, Part 135 involves hard work and an unpredictable schedule. However, if you’re fortunate enough to find a good aircraft owner operating under Part 91, especially one with a set schedule you know at least half a month in advance, it can be a rewarding and well-paid job.

    An excellent video and thank you. I will be showing this to my 14yo son who may one day wish to be a corporate pilot. I think the advice about the women waiting for "autographs" may convince him! (It's almost convinced me too...). Seriously - as once PP flying little singles, this was fascinating and I'm sure it will be also for my lad. Cheers from Sydney - Dave
    PS. I do often wonder what flying roles like yours will evolve to in the coming decades. Hopefully lines of code won't be taking ultimate responsibility for the safety of flying souls. Just a thought...

    I have a friend that was a private jet pilot for chicken man Bo Pilgram and he said he loved it. None of the stress of airline pilots. All Bo required was be ready to go within a 3 day notice. He also got invited to all the parties and eat the finest foods and stay in the finest hotels and swim in Bo's swimming pool and eat with his family in his mansion. What a way to live.

      I partly agree; this job is for younger people. As we get older, that sharp perception of the environment and vividness of experiences tends to fade. The excitement of flights to islands and foreign countries isn’t quite the same as it used to be. Now, we seek a more stable, peaceful life.
