Dear friends in this video i show you how to repair hp probook g6 laptop mother board no power problem if like this please hit the subscribe button. thanks for watching
question, i have almost the same laptop as this one (probook 430 g6) and it is turning on fine and everything works except charging the battery. i bought a new battery and it can run on battery power that came in the new battery but it wont charge at all (i've tried using both the dc power jack and the usb c charging). i did already try all of the software solutions i could find online without success so i'm leaning towards a hardware failure (maybe a blown fuse for charging or something in that lines) what is the best way to start diagnosing this issue ?
Dear sir sometimes local battery doesn’t work with the laptop i think at first you have to check your laptop using by original battery and charger. your purchase battery would be not good quality wise your Success
@@mrcontrive5641 the original battery is the one I replaced and it gave the exact same behavior I've tryed bother the charger that came with the laptop as well as a Dell 45w USB c one
@@mrcontrive5641 it is an hp laptop but usb c chargers are universal, I have not tried booting without a battery installed but it does work on a completely empty battery
Thank you for your video , my laptop doesnt start after I got caught to a rain although I used a umbrella . it's powe jack led blinking when I pressed power button .is there any basic things that u can do , please guide
No sir I just removed that capacitor from circuit . I didn't haven same value capacitor. it's ok laptop performing as well as good without any problem. Thanks for watching and subscribing
The capacitor has no problem just change the power button socket and maybe the flex that connects to it. Otherwise, the problem is going to come back. I have done it in two laptops and it works just fine. And please learn how a capacitor works.
For the 5 minutes of this video I know much more than 20 minutes of other Hp Probook 450 g6 dissasemble videos. Userbenchmark said that my CPU is trhrotling, so I think to test throtling by other programs and maybe replace the thermalpaste on the CPU. Only this video showed me where the CPU is, just in the first few minutes. Very informative
hie thank you for the video i have a problem with my board there is power every where even at battery terminals but there is no light on charging port and not switching on pliz can you help me on that
I changed my hard disk and then the laptop won't turn on the charger light is still blinking and when I touched the CPU I found it hot so what's the issue and can I fix it by myself? (hp Elitebook G6)
my doesn't have the button to press.........I don't want to open my laptop because I have just bought it..........what is wrong with it??? I don't know how to fix laptop so I don't want to open it
How is it a repair when you just removed a capacitors? They're not there without a reason... If the laptop would perform "as well as good without any problem" without it, the engineers at HP would not have placed them there. Problems will come from this "fix". The only right solution here is to replace them with new and equal capacitors. When not in stock, order them... The customer will wait if the fix is permanent. No discussion.
Yes sir you are right The engineer used it because it needs that place there are two caps in a single line sometimes it can run one capacitor. But I should used a same value caps there .thanks for your advice

while you open the laptop battery then can you get voltage ? at battery charging mosfet or battery terminal.
same here, both capacitors are shorted, but also shorted when both soldered out... - any idea? - both have 22myF
but i think you can't measure in that way, capacitors are most times shorted, i think it's more coincidence that notebook is working again...

the capacitor is just to protect laptop to don't burn from wrong power , laptop working without the capacitors.
