hello, your welcome, can you be more specific, what windows? how much time? have you checked fan temps ME bios? with or without charger

HP business laptops will not receive power if you dont have a proper centre pin. You cant use a Dell charger either. Learnt this the "lucky" way after receiving 2 hp business laptops as dead but they were tested with Dell chargers

You are correct, some may work, but will not charge, center Pin gives information for charger wattage.

@@ntechlab8357 Actually to be more precise, from my experience, none of the hp business class laptops will work without the centre pin. Some may even not do anything even if you use a hp charger but wattage too low! I always keep a big barrel 120W HP charger around for this purpose

in my case was just to disconnect the keyboard, remove battery, reconnect the charger and start again! then, re-connect the keyboard, power off the laptop, put keyboard - and its screws - in place, put battery again and restart :D

Yes you can, you should also remove the digital-analog controller going from gpu to vga, most times it is the chip closer to vga port
