At first I thought I wasn't really a fan of MembTV cast but... must be because I watched it once when I was in a bad mood. This cast was awesome. The game was intense and the casting from both was amazing. Such energy for so long. Wow. Amazing job, keep going!
I was there on the stream, it was very late for a CEST time (GMT +2) and the game is a classic. It's a decider, the players are doing all that is humanly possible to win. And this is the showcase of slow, closed-off maps in team games. The fight was incredible, the comebacks are of quality you can't see in any other game.

Never seen an oasis game basically decided with water control. Increadible game though I was a bit saddened that Suomi lost. Still Zuppi MVP E: Since nobody mentioned, best moment in the audience: 43:00
It's the wood control that won the game, zuppi kept pointlessly sending units to kill the trade, while AM were selling their wood for huge amounts of gold, and suomi buying it all, he should have kept the mamelukes on the front line and just kept pushing with the rams
It was such an incredible game, saw it live. What an incredible back and forth. The team I was rooting for didn't win but certainly not disheartened. And cheers to Memb and Nili. As someone said, Memb was made for this game.
I was laughing so much then I thought my flatmates would come angry, because of loud noises in the middle of the night. That was an epic moment, I love these unintended, situational jokes.
Saw this live, was so damn close, with am winning, then suomi pushing them back and it almost looked gg, but then am still won. No words, and casting was awesome as well with the badabooms 11
Spoiler: 1:18:35 I think they lost the game that moment because zuppi had too much queued up to produce fire ships, he could only get one out. If he had god tier speed to cancel all the 90 mamelukes and 45 camels from like 10 different castles and 20 stables I think the game was theirs.
Thats a good observation, but with how busy they already were, that wasn't going to happen, cancelling all those units under production. MBLs cannon ships made such a difference, basically shut down the center of the map. MBL did a great job defending with BBT's every place just before Suomi attacked. They also lost the moment when they didn't beef up their attack when Villese was building his castle right in front of the destroyed enemy markets. They should have 100% focused on that. If they had held that, the game would have been over as well. TheMax should have stayed and protected the vills. His further raids did nothing.
This was crazy to watch live. MBL with a crazy bombard tower push. Suomi pushed it back somehow. Then raids trade multiple times killing hundreds of carts. Then came the game changer cannon galleons. One of the best games ever!! And Memb at towards the end 😂😂😂 Awesome!!
I wonder how thiy game would have gone if Hera figured the thing with the ETK out earlier. if they defend their forward bombard tower position with ETk instead of Paladins the wont get pushed back. otoh we would really miss an epic game. Zuppi played like a god.
@@Hennu_TRM I think hand cannoneers would get flattened by SOs, bombard cannons and bombard towers, back then aftermath had a lot more siege than at the end of the match. The only real counter to ETK in that game were SOs but Suomi SOs were constantly under the fire of BBT, BBC, SOs back when Aftermath was pushing in early imp. But yeah, it was such an incredible game I can't complain haha.
@@Progeusz Fair point. And it does seem like Suomi did a pretty good job when they had Celt siege on the map. I think the scorpions did pretty well against ETK also.

People keep talking about the water control and tutonic knights. But I think that monks won that game. Gold got so cheap so the monks were cheap. And with all the upgrades their range could could fix the lack of mobility on AM. It leat them defend the huge trade area without needing a fast unit. It also let them constantly snipe the seige units.
No doubt that was the longest pro game to be streamed ever. With tens of thousands of units dead, it’s like the entire state of Wyoming died during this game. GG
Team Suomi played exceptionally well, the best humanly possible, but AM had the support of extra armies -- The Bombard Towers. Half of Suomi's armies are dealing with the BTs. The team that lost more buildings won the match? Insane.
The key resources late game was actually the wood. Yellow turned out to be increditably inefficient. He threw away so much siege unit to palatines and achieving nothing. At one stage sent two vils trying to build 5000 gold castle and could not finish it. That guy was basically doing next to zero impact late game.
Teutonic knights won the game. TheMax should have switched to hand cannoneers faster. Amazing hold by AM but I think Suomi played strategically better, AM had the civ advantage at the end.
Simple summary. Finland throwed the game coz they thought they can win easily cutting trades, no urgent need to get back the middle wood. By the time they try to do so, already they have no wood in the bank.
what is capture age showing above the minimap with resources? at one hour it says 300k wood, 11k gold etc, is that the remaining resources on the map? With gold that effectively means that's what's in trade carts?
@@Bounasieaux Good question. I'd imagine it was gold in the centre of the fighting that they couldn't take safely, I saw some prntscr.com/p35q4c and prntscr.com/p35r3k. 11k sounds like a lot but at 800 per tile it's only 14 tiles on the entire map potentially.

Its easy to cancel by using hotkeys to switch between the buildings the shift+ clicking ..holding shift will help to cancel 5 units at the times

Turks Bombard Towers are really OP. Amazing game from both teams. Teutons choice was really strange for me, but Hera used the civ well.

Yes it is the remaining natural resources on the map. It only counts trees, hunt,berries, fish, stone mines etc. Farms/trade do not affect this count.

Memb's commentary improved the game so much. I think he did an amazing job and for once, I'm kind of glad it wasn't T90 casting but these 2.
I have felt the same way in the past, but with so many hours of footage the variety Memb adds is a huge relief.
