I remember this from a while ago but really need to circle back to this message often. I keep forgetting this and have found myself in interactions with women who behave nervously. From their perspective, it's overwhelming when they find an attractive man without significant flaws because there are no pressing areas where they're needed to fit into. I can't imagine where the term Amazon woman as a metaphor came from. She is not Tyra Banks for certain. The reality is that she is a lot closer looking to Whoopi Goldberg. I lived in the Amazon jungle for three years in Peru and the Amazon women are very short ( often less than 5 feet ), stocky build with short legs, thick forearms and not attractive at all. Facially very similar to Eskimo tribes or American Indians. They were physically strong I will admit that.
