The one I have has tons of attachments and a good selection of modern weapons and upgrades. They even have different ammo types. And if you feel the need they have the percentage boost as an optional upgrade
Your mod vids are the best… great descriptions and discussion around play through/ / pairing mods. You can tell you actually play the game with them on, unlike some YTs that just showcase the cools stuff (nothing wrong with that either, I just like ideas for a play through) keep it up Brandy!!
OK you got the katana animations down pat, But now I need some saber animations for the revolutionary sword and offhanded pistols so we can be pirates.
If you get the cyberman mod I'd also recommend getting Fallout who regenerated, it's a mod that adds more doctor who content to the game like the TARDIS, Sonic Screwdriver, and lets you become a Timelord and regenerate after taking a certain amount of damage.
I didn't actually mind the assault rifle, it's modeled after a Lewis and those things are badass. I think it woulda been wicked if the mag was top loaded though. The animation mod does help a lot
Your videos have inspired me to get into modding, especially since I'll be getting a good pc soon so I'll have the hardware to join in on the modding action
Something I did for the first mod with the bullet sponge, I got a damage modifier for vanilla weapons since all my modded ones are already op, I just turned the damage modifier to 100% (double damage basically) and with the double damage perk for a designated weapon (semi-auto, auto, small arms) so quadruple damage, spraying with a pipe gun is actually effective and the sub machine gun in game can actually be effective and you can rattle your enemies
Scourge is an incredible mod. If you're tired of everyone and everything eating all your bullets like they're tic tacks, but don't like BLD, give Scourge a try.
I agree that the standard player character voices can seem out of place depending on what race you intend for your character to be, which greatly limits roleplaying opportunities in a game that already has basically no roleplaying potential, especially compared to past Fallout titles like 3 and New Vegas. However, since I tend to play a white character most of the time, it doesn't bother me as much as it otherwise might. That having been said, I've been thinking of doing a playthrough with a character of another race, and will definitely be using the Silent Protagonist mod, as the voice is otherwise too incongruous, in my opinion. I also agree that the voice actors did (at the very least) a reasonably good job. One last thing: Out of curiosity, what mod are you using that gives you that interesting grenade throw animation?

lots of these mods work well with Horizon, Horizon already designates the assault rifle as a light machine gun so the MG69 replacer is pretty cool that said as a LMG it is pretty cool and has that 1950s aesthetic that fallout 4 wanted. pipe shotguns is also a fantastic mod, the options are in depth and they look stunning. the Mk18 MOD mod is nice and it's tough to get but it isn't very lore friendly even though new Vegas had a carbine and all American. the MOD is OP with 5.56 API, drop a mirelurk queen, mythic deathclaws or deathskulls in one squeeze. I wish there was a handbuild AK mod that you can build after you find schematics a pipe, combat or futuristic base for the AK platform which is the most simplistic and believable more friendly platform to base a assault rifle off, even over a AR platform

I'm just here for the Cybermen. We just need Dahleks and a sonic screwdriver and I'm set. Oh and a "Hey, who turned out the lights?" line for the Y16 Trauma Override Harness mod. Its an adaptation to bring the Fallout New Vegas: OWB DLC creature into the commonwealth. But it uses the voice assets for the Sentry bot. However, if you have the wild wasteland perk in Fallout New Vegas, sometimes the trauma override harnesses will say "Hey! Who turned out the lights?" This is a reference to one of my favorite Dr. Who two part stories. That's why I wanted the mod and wanted the line in so badly. Oh and if you want another use for them, Trauma override harnesses reliably drop laser weapons, bones, their suits, and microfusion cells. If you have the robotics perk you can turn the harnesses and bones into security guards for your settlements. They can kinda wander away though, that happened when I installed them at the Nuka World Red Rocket. The random battle encounter spot drew them away. Now they won't come back. The Cybermen don't need the Institute though, their homeworld was somehow ejected from their solar system. The're capable of limited travel from reality to reality, cast aways I suppose you could say. All it takes is one or two making it to the commonwealth for their to be a pretty decent infestation before long. Especially since they assimilate people with nanites or by luring them into a trap and shoving them into a booth to be "upgraded." Look up the "Bad Wolf" storyline of Doctor who, which ends in an epic battle between the Cybermen and the series primary enemy race, the Dahleks. I've gotten skibadaa's weapon mods before. In fact the IF54 is in my leveled list rn. I suggest the miniguns mod he did though. That thing makes more than one kind of minigun appear in the commonwealth and some of them are truly devastating. It can turn a gunner or supermutant into a one enemy army very quickly. Once I tried to attack quincy with a possee of upgraded "we are the minutemen" minuteman troops and a single gunner in the doorway of the quincy church that had one of these guns wiped out almost all of my minutemen reinforcements. I also like to call them "the deadly raspberries" because they sound a little bit like someone blew a raspberry when they recorded the sound effect for firing it. Combined with a mod varying the calibers of ammo in the commonwealth I've gotten it to have as much if not more power than a fully upgraded missile launcher or fatman. In my castle armory I have an entire line of these miniguns on heavy weapon racks. I have better lootable vehicles already installed. Its not bad at all. By the way, I love that you released lickers in the commonwealth. XD Not a resident evil fan but I know where they're from and how they came to be, those things are downright creepy and the modded version makes them even creepier than in footage of the actual Resident evil game. For Katana mods, I have one favorite; Tsuki no Hana. This beautiful samurai sword sits on a stand in your home in sanctuary hills, presumably a souvineer you or your spouse brought home from the war. Its simple, elegant and deadly. Fully upgraded with the blacksmith perk, it can tear down the deathclaws on steroids I set up in the game. Now Preston is the last thing you need to worry about at the Museum of freedom. XD
Brandy I recommend you watch Doctor Who immediately! Its the longest and best running show in UK history, even though its suffering because of the new seasons but everything else with Chris Eccelson, David Tennant, Matt Smith and Peter Capaldi is a solid 10/10 EDIT: Forgot to mention Fallout Who Vegas is a fantastic Tardis simulator in New Vegas. Ive done at least 3 playthroughs over the years with that mod and its got a Tale of Two Wastelands upgrade to it too

I'm on PS5 and don't have a huge mod selection. My favourite balance mod multiplies all incoming and outgoing damage by 5. A random feral Ghoul will break your leg in one hit and probably kill you with thr second, but if you shoot well you can take it out in one or three hits before it reaches you.
I wish the Institute’s story for 2nd generation synths was clones of you but hidden under more cybernetics because they weren’t moldable or stable but the twist comes when you find out the truth from seeing one with your own faction *before* you meet Shaun in the Institute
1:00 okay, now unlevel and standardise enemy variants as well as armour and weapons. Making high levels rarer but there right at the start of the game. I want it to feel like there's actual rankings among the enemy ranks. Instead of Raiders (for example) getting more numerous and stronger as you go around actively wiping them out
@5:12 I actually like the voice protagonist. I almost feel that people's dislike of this is more out of impatience than lack of role-playing immersion. Like you said, the voice actors did a great job which makes me wonder what the people complaining want the voice to be like (Mickey Mouse??).
as to VTAW clothing, I have wardrobes one, four, five, six, seven, eight and nine. That one's still on patreon. Funny enough I only use bits and pieces of every one of them but they do make for a hell of a variety for your character as well as your NPCs in your settlements
how do you get vtaw outfits to work? They never seem to work right for me texture wise. And the modder doesn't really say how to get them to work properly.
@@ItsYaBoyBrandyBoy Is it perfomance heavy? I currently only use NAC X because I am going for a stalker themed game and I have A Forest which murders FPS with an ENB. I want to find nice ENB that doesn't affect perfomance much for a subsequent playthrough without fauna mods.
@@Doom_Music_Enjoyer most enbs can be made performance friendly by disabling depth of field, ambient occlusion, and detailed shadows. Some enbs will have SMAA built in so that can be disabled to gain more fps.
@@8bitengie Yeah that's my problem too, though it is a lot better when I use an ENB with vivid landscapes, winter overhauls and such but with Fauna mods they simply MURDER my fps around 30-40 in open world. I have your exact GPU and I personally find ENBs not worth the performance hit. Usually a few NAC X presets are enough to make it look good enough for me.
funny enough the voice actors were never an issue with my many gripes with the game, in fact at times i found myself agreeing or outright saying some of their dialogue with how i play, but thats just it, im AGREEING with them, meaning im less a player more a viewer with extra powers

1:00 okay, now unlevel and standardise enemy variants as well as armour and weapons. Making high levels rarer but there right at the start of the game. I want it to feel like there's actual rankings among the enemy ranks. Instead of Raiders (for example) getting more numerous and stronger as you go around actively wiping them out
is that a melee mod at 10:29 or is it just part of the m14 animations?

@5:12 I actually like the voice protagonist. I almost feel that people's dislike of this is more out of impatience than lack of role-playing immersion. Like you said, the voice actors did a great job which makes me wonder what the people complaining want the voice to be like (Mickey Mouse??).

Funny enough I only use bits and pieces of every one of them but they do make for a hell of a variety for your character as well as your NPCs in your settlements
how do you get vtaw outfits to work? They never seem to work right for me texture wise. And the modder doesn't really say how to get them to work properly.
I was wondering if it's all stable for you with the conflicts of the outfit packs but I'm guessing you didn't use a MOD manager?

@@ItsYaBoyBrandyBoy Is it perfomance heavy? I currently only use NAC X because I am going for a stalker themed game and I have A Forest which murders FPS with an ENB. I want to find nice ENB that doesn't affect perfomance much for a subsequent playthrough without fauna mods.
@@Doom_Music_Enjoyer not him but on my 16gb 1660ti rig i dropped from 60+ fps without enb to 40-ish with its default options enabled
@@Doom_Music_Enjoyer most enbs can be made performance friendly by disabling depth of field, ambient occlusion, and detailed shadows. Some enbs will have SMAA built in so that can be disabled to gain more fps.
@@8bitengie Yeah that's my problem too, though it is a lot better when I use an ENB with vivid landscapes, winter overhauls and such but with Fauna mods they simply MURDER my fps around 30-40 in open world. I have your exact GPU and I personally find ENBs not worth the performance hit. Usually a few NAC X presets are enough to make it look good enough for me.
What mod do I need to get the sword slicing animations? I want to cut enemies and have them in cool, measured chunks.
funny enough the voice actors were never an issue with my many gripes with the game, in fact at times i found myself agreeing or outright saying some of their dialogue with how i play, but thats just it, im AGREEING with them, meaning im less a player more a viewer with extra powers
