Beat I can understand that. They did a great job of making her an enjoyable character with a good story arc, which is pretty rare in Pokemon.
Plus she's just freaking adorable.
Beat yeah. that sucked, but THEN the photo at the end of credits with lillie and nebby comes up and your heart is just screaming.
And then the message about smiles and stuff, plus the pic, GAVE SUPREME FEELS

Fun fact: Necrozma isn't an ultra beast, as such those beast balls had a measly x.1 capture rate, compared to the x5 they have on the actual UBs.
Naturally, I caught Necrozma with a Beast Ball. :3 Why? BECAUSE x0.1 catch rate! :D I ENJOY CATCHING LEGENDARIES IN THE WEAKEST POSSIBLE BALLS
Same, it was so worth it, now when it comes out the ball it has a neat look rather than a bland ultra ball
I think Necrozma IS an Ultra Beast. It's just that long term exposure to an environment so different to its own mutated it to resemble a pokemon. Like how cosmog mutated and evolved from an ultra beast into a pokemon.
To be fair, the Beast Balls are only as effective on UBs as they are because they probably siphon Ultra Wormhole energy radiating off the UBs to help in their effectiveness.
I'm also fairly certain Necrozma is a UB in the same way that Lunala and Solgaleo is, it's just been literally ripped apart (probably by Zygarde thousand-waving it to the ground and smashing that nerd, but y'know whatever). Necrozma's main body does look like a dragon's head, so it was probably originally Dragon/Psychic. Another neat thing is that all of the Minior's share colors with Necrozma, though more specifically with Shiny Minior (Shiny Minior's rainbow of colors within the core is exactly shared by the colors exposed in Necrozma's head that serve as "eyes".)
While the whole UB theory does make sense and while it would be cool if it were true, for the sake of mechanics, Cosmog, Cosmoem, Solgaleo, Lunala and Necrozma are legendary pokemon not ultra-beasts

So you probably know that necrozma is like ridcoulsly hard to catch in these games well in the ultra versions he has a catch rate of 255 that’s a catch rate of a level 3 pidgey.
You do know they kind of do that for most obligatory Legendaries nowadays right? Rayquaza was the same in ORAS

I honestly thought they really botched the UB side quest in this game. Seriously, they all are just hiding in tall grass like regular Pokemon, and it makes them feel less intimidating.

One of the big flaws I have for this game is that it doesn't have a lot of post game content other than the battle tree. I'm currently trying to complete my pokedex right now, with a little over 70% done, and it is indeed frsutrating trying to trade for pokemon when the majority of the trades demand Weaviles, Scizors, Slowkings, Politoeds, lv.91 and up Dittos, Kingdras, Rhyperiors and Aegislashes. And some of those are from QR codes!
CrystalTigerclaw Getting Kings Rock, metal coat, and that claw were painful to get. I managed to only need to trade for game exclusives without going to the battle tree
Keep it up man, i did the grind back in ORAS so its just a bunch of transferring and egg making for me
in all fairness, outside of the remakes, sequels, and 3rd versions, they haven't had much postgame content since gold/silver and it's pretty hard to outdo traveling to a whole other region.
and to be fair, the battle tree, ultra beast hunting, and in a small way the title defense battles are quite a bit comparatively
IMON FIREGUY its certianly better than X&Y but i just want a post game like Platinum's or HGSS: A battle Frontier, rebattle gym leaders, and a new stronger E4 with some extra tidbits here and there
CrystalTigerclaw Once you have one trade item evolution you just need to keep trading around until you get all of them. All you need is one. I finished the dex, like, before the game was even out a week by doing this. Though, if you just explore the areas in the game a bit you can easily get most of the items you need. The only one that is remotely hard to get seems to be weavile, but I got it from gts anyway. Unless the problem is having no one to trade with to evo them, but I'm sure you have to have someone or some place to trade at, and if not you can find one.

He's pretty much a case of Solgaleo and Lunala; originally an Ultra Beast but being in the Pokemon world for so long made them Pokemon.
So although mechanically it's not an Ultra Beast, technically it used to be, the same way Solgaleo and Lunanla technically used to be.
Triixster There's no evidence of that. The only mention of it ever being an ultra beast was when looker mistook it for one. There are no sources that claim Necrozma is or ever was an ultra beast.

roji First off, the game should be about them, not Lily. Or at very least, give them a story on the same level as Lily's, maybe even interwined with hers.
Second, a simple reaction to other people. Lily gives you an item? You say "Thank you!" Mob boss pisses you off? You say "Get out of my way, foolish man." or "I AM THE LAW!"
There is so much missed opportunity for character reactions all over the place. But they didn't even make your character expressive like they could have, for instance the way The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker does. No, all you get is the same blank serial killer smile all the time. As funny as that is at first, it gets boring quickly, and I can't help but feel disappointed by it.
@@sterlingmuse5808 the player's story has always been forced as it's kinda hard to write a story for a character that can literally have any personality. Also remember how I was responding to the player's character actually speaking no expressing themselves
@@r.r815 That's what I'm saying - they need to GIVE them a personality. Or alternatively give actual meaningful options and let the players themselves do that. As it is, you are forced to watch the story of a completely generic 10 year old unfold in a nearly completely straight line. Lily's story is an exception to this, but it's like putting a bandaid on a broken arm - it doesn't fix the problem at all.
