Hey, great tutorial. I have an ‘18 2.5 with 68k and I recently cleaned the throttle body which had a lot of carbon build up. Yours looks immaculate compared to mine. And when I looked down the intake there was a small pool of oil. I can only imagine how dirty my intake is. I’ve been contemplating a catch can. I think they’re technically not allowed by CA smog but prob fine if they’re tucked down there out of sight. So you recommend just going cheap with catch can it sounds like rather than the kits sold online? I’ll give this a shot-but maybe watch it starting with the end first 😉 Will be a great opportunity to do a good cleaning and prevent future build up.

Do you have a link for that catch can? You think that would work on a '24 CX50 with 2.5L ? Thanks buddy

I have the K&N air intake and was thinking of just connecting the catch can to the side of the metal heat shield/air box. Would there be any issues with doing it that way or do I need to have the catch can lower down for a reason?
