    I am a Haryanvi in Yamunanagar. Yes, I have also been asked to light agarbatti. I understand your point . Wasted!
    I will make this in your exact way. No one mentioned mashing the potato and adding garlic at end. Your method is the best!. No Axone remaining but I do have a 3 year old packet of fermented bamboo shoot that I got from Guwahati. I am sure that it is not expired. I am sure!

    M working in resort so i hv to hv my food in cafeteria n i dnt have kitchen in my room but i purchased electric kettle n yesterday and today I prepared Naga cuisine chicken boil which is always my favorite one, n really the chicken was so tasty but I don't have bamboo shoots bcoz I don't have I add 3 king chillies, 5 dry red chilles for colour crushed ginger and garlic, 2 tomatoes 🍅🍅 salt to taste n chicken, finally it was so delicious, n few of my friends are also having, n they said they don't eat boil chicken but when they taste yesterday and today, they are asking how about the recipe. Pick fresh bamboo shoots, cut them into slices or any size you like, store it in a jar or any container.. In few weeks, you'll get what you just saw here.. Very simple.. And yeah, you can either dry it as well but you got to chop it into small piece

    • @gregorywilfredukik3445
      @gregorywilfredukik3445 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We the dayaks of borneo prefer fresh bamboo shoot taken with rice. The young bamboo shoot is dug out or taken out of the ground; remove the skin (outer layer) get the young shoot and cut into small pieces or shred it; then boiled it till soften (cooked); drained it and the boiled shoot can be stored inside a refrigerator or immediately cook it stir fried with chilli paste or with meat or vege or mushroom. If you are a vegetarian try cook it (stir fried) with; bamboo shoot+young fern (wild vege) +mushroom.

      There is no such specific name. Just like any variety of chicken curry it's commonly called as Chicken with Bamboo shoot. And every household have their own type of doing it.

      Bamboo shoot is one of the integral part of naga cuisine.
      It gives you a tangy flavor. You can get them from here amzn.to/36IxtYj
      Or you can use 1 lemon to get that tangy taste. But bamboo shoot is always the best option.
      Thank you :)

    God I understand the incense stick part being a Northeastern from Tripura. But in our hostel in Delhi people make it all the time. No one bothers us.
