- The New Jersey State Police are asking the public to help identify a man and woman wanted for allegedly robbing two people inside two casinos in Atlantic City.

Casinos really have changed over the years. When I was going back in the 90’s if you won a large amount of money the security would surround you and escort you to the desk to cash out and escort you out of the casino.

@@pigmeatmarkham898 That has happened before. I knew at least two person who was following home and robbed. A few including myself was followed at one point. I was common for people to take the same main roads home but I went into residential streets to test them when I suspect that I was being followed. They followed me every turn in the residential streets so I knew it couldn't be a coincident.
With trackers nowadays, they just need to follow high rollers to their cars. Then attack a tracker and then wait for them at home.

Maybe they have an inside working with security? How do you steal cash and then cross a huge casino floor, usually a long walk… Then cross a casino parking lot, which are sometimes good long walks and get into your car, drive an eighth to a quarter of a mile to the street before a security guard on the floor, in a golf cart or regular car can get to you?
Did security lose radio comms at a crucial moment or did these thieves simply outrun their radio waves?

You have to request security now to but whenever I've won a five figure sum, I normally wait around the casino and look around, or go eat while still looking around. Just to be on alert, there's been times, I decided to take a taxi home and left my car parked at the casino, just so people don't know what I drive
Even when I won $1k, I had to be alert. They will rob you for $1,000 dollars. When I won more, I called a friend and he was always armed. People get excited and let their guard down. Stay alert!

When I lived near Detroit, a suspect almost got killed bcuz he tried to rob a customer in the casino parking lot. That guy's days are numbered.

Casinos have to have a better system in place, more private and separate exit system for large winner's to leave from, security may draw too much attention and their protection is limited once you hit the parking lot and drive home, we've heard of multiple incidents where armed robbers follow you home and rob you. In modern times with technical advances as they are now, Casinos should be able to electronically deposit your winnings into your banking account, or just accept a check.

Cash is no taxes checks under business or casino name unless personal check which takes longer to clear
@@donovanwilliams29Receiving cash from a jackpot doesn't exempt you from paying taxes. If the jackpot is at least $1,500 or more you have to sign & date a tax form. A 'hand pay" is always recorded, the casino, the player and the IRS all get a copy. A casino check takes only a few days to clear.

The news report is somewhat misleading, it was not $15,000 that was taken at Resorts Casino, it was $1,500, I know this cause it was one of my best friends that was robbed. And I have the pictures of the police report which he sent me after this happened. And in hindsight he did recall seeing the girl earlier. I think she is like the one that does the spotting for the victims and then he carries out the robbery. I don't know how the Ceasare robbery happened, only the first hand information of the Resorts one. But yes the police do have their names
I ask security to walk me to my car , and give them a tip ! Lock the car doors and SPLIT ! ( make sure you aren’t being followed )!
