    I thought the comment section was "misinformed" when talking about the almost $800 price point. HOLY CHIT!! i paid $650 for mine and at some point opticsplanet did in fact raise their price. WTF? THATS BONKERS.

    When the RCR was $650 it was pricey but still a good choice. I got one when it first came out for that price and it is awesome.
    Now the price is $774+ which is outrageous. Go with the Aimpoint Acro or a Holosun or an SRO until they drop the price.

      The mounting system works though and there’s no reason to ever have to take it off unless it fails. I’m 2k rounds through mine so far with a dab of vibratite on the screws and paint marked them, they haven’t budged.

      Even Mr guns and gears address the same problem he has many slides that are double cut one for RMR and the other one for a Delta point pro and unless it has those two little front recoil posts in the front I'm not talking the ones you put the screws in no matter what you do to it it's still comes loose that's what I mean when I said I have so many nice slides I can't put it on because even if you put and it doesn't have those two front recoil posts it still comes loose from The recoil it needs those two little front posts work properly so it limits the optic I like it a lot but I just said it limits where you can put it on I just don't like a system where I can't properly torque the screw I'm a perfectionist if it's an optic cut that is just for an RMR yeah it works great still I like to torque my things to spec

      @@milspecmike8440 I don't know if you're familiar with strike Industries you probably are but I have a really nice FDE their Glock 17 Gen 3 the light slide I can't mount it to that because it uses M3 screws and trijicon doesn't sell any and they don't have any so it's kind of disappointing that it has to use those types of screws to mount the RCR so that's what I kind of mean but it's a wonderful I have it on my sigSauer p220 with the adapter plate it works great with that system because it has those two front recoil posts

      I bought an RCR and installed it on my ‘24 Staccato C, I have a handful of Holosuns. There is no comparison. The RCR’s dot is very crisp and gets extremely bright. The build quality far surpasses Holosun. If I tighten the battery tray screw on my Holosuns, they have problems (some won’t adjust or shut off or go into sleep mode or change reticles, etc), so I’m forced to use vibratite to ensure they don’t work loose. Holosun’s screws sheer off frequently. The dots aren’t as bright or crisp, my RCR dot is a 3.25 but turning it up makes it look like a bigger but clean dot but with the flare limited, the Holosun’s flare badly and turn into a blob yet don’t get as bright. The window on the RCR shows no signs of sealant while the Holosun has sealant visible in the window. Don’t get me wrong, I still keep and use my Holosuns, I will probably buy others but you are getting a better sight from Trijicon.

    • @TimmysHR
      @TimmysHR 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +7

      Value is subjective. Holosun makes a great optic on somewhat of a budget but it doesn’t compete with Trijicon which is okay. It’s not supposed too

    • @Dirk-my2zf
      @Dirk-my2zf 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +5

      I would not put a holosun on any weapon I wanted to use to defend my life with. A Trijicon is absolutely designed to fight.

    • @TimmysHR
      @TimmysHR 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@Dirk-my2zf ehhh. A holoson would work just fine. Where trijicon makes a difference is durability. I would have a holoson to defend my life on a edc or a normal rifle.
      However I would not have it on a hard use rifle or edc due to durability and maintaining 0 after abuse.

      At one time the United States made the best electronics, automobiles, televisions, etc. Took pride in what the country manufactures but as time went on two things happened 1. Americans wanted cheaper products and 2. Manufacturing wanted cheaper labor and so profits over "made in America " became the standard as companies moved overseas!
