Glad to see you guys getting back in with the Oregon vlogs. I know it is different from Costa Rica but you did well especially the second trip! Keep the awesome vlogs coming!!
@@JimmyxMelanie So true about the mindset. You crushed it on the second day because of the mindset. Keep it going! If you every are on Vancouver Island then contact me.
I surfed up and down the Pacific Coast for many years. When I lived in Portland many people asked me to teach them surfing after found out i did that. Usually I told them to learn snow boarding instead. You have to REALLY want to surf to live in the PNW and do it. If you find after 6 months the cold and sometimes choppy waves bother you and you still don't know how to get out very well, you're still catching white water and small waves that close out immidietly....well, time to buy that snow board and sell the surf gear.
Just moved to Oregon from Hawai'i and i agree with the wetsuit. I feel like i have to learn how to surf all over again. Ive never used one before and the first time i tried one i got claustrophobic.
Yes! There is definitely a limitation with the wetsuit on. I’m going to Oahu for the first time in August and very much looking forward to not having to wear a wetsuit. Thanks for watching the vlog!
Definitely hard to get back into cold water! Yes to having more fun in the water and letting go of expectations 💦🏄🏻♀️

Changing my mindset during the second session helped tremendously. Gotta work with what I got in the present!

We gave snowboarding a try a couple years back, definitely wasn’t for us. Prefer the ocean over the mountain.
