    I recently sold out of LEG, WHR and SWK and rolled it into PFE and a cash secured put with a strike price of $114 expiring this Friday on WSM. looks like I'll get assigned that if price holds. glad to see my judgement on LEG was in line with the research tool. Appreciate the content.

    WSO, great hvac company. SPGI company that rates companies and debt and owns SNP and Dow Jones indices. You got me really looking into Cigna and MMM now

    Great insight Chuck. Started a small position in Danaher earlier, looking to add at the right price. Fastgraphs does such a great job of providing different perspectives on the price.

    Hi Chuck. I do have a question on Synopsys. Though it looks massively overpriced on the MAX time line, it shows up as undervalued from EBITA point of view. On the other metrics, such as Adjusted Earnings, it shows as trading on the blue line or what the market believes the price to be. I like to own this stock, but not quite sure if I should be looking at the Max time line or the shorter time line when looking at some of these companies. Thanks

    Hi Chuck. If I’m not mistaken, I think you are long T. I was wondering about your thoughts on WBD. It has declined significantly since the spinoff, doesn’t pay a dividend, and I’m wondering what you think about continuing to hold those shares. Thanks, Clint

    Silly question, how are the forecast validated? Have we looked back at predicted vs real price, earnings and so on?

    Hi Chuck. Great video as always. I am a huge fan of Danaher too. Just waiting for the right price. Could you do a video sometime on the measuring instruments industry? Companies like Keysight Technologies and Ametek come to mind. They're essentially like Danaher but for the Telecom and the Industrials sectors respectively.

    I am a huge fan of Chuck and your content and I am subscriber for your tool which has been very helpful at times. I mostly aim to value invest but I also trade options and I have a request to update the data in FastGraphs more timely. It is often stale with growth estimates and I therefore can't use it to make decisions. There are free resources out there that have earnings reported quite quickly. Is there anything you guys can do about that? Overall, a big fan and this is my biggest request at the moment. Thank you for the content as it is gold!

    Very impressive so see the massive overvaluation of some Companies.
    Instead of LNC I´d like an analysis of Jackson Financial, but almost two years in history seems to be not enough.
    Anyway thanks for your lessons and Greetings from Bavaria, Germany!

    Two things about SIMO.
    1. It is the target of a buyout by MaxLinear (MXL). However, there is a lot of questions as to if it will get regulatory approval, especially by China
    2. When the buyout was announced, the dividend was eliminated. However, for some reason, FastGraphs still thinks it is paying one

    • @FASTgraphs
      @FASTgraphs  ปีที่แล้ว

      Remember, these were subscriber requests where I analyze based on what the research tool shows. Wall Street Journal shows the dividend as well, not sure why

    • @DaveCompton5150
      @DaveCompton5150 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@FASTgraphs I owned for a few years before the buyout. Decided to sell after the announced buyout + dividend suspension. Seeking Alpha shows the dividend history correctly. Guess WSJ and FG are getting data from the same source.

    Calling PayPal a "reasonably valued stock" at the current price is like refusing to bow down to pick up gold lying on the street for free.

      No, exactly at the stock market it's not. It's quite the opposite.
      I generally respect your very conservative approach to valuation. Just in PayPal's case, I say it's inappropriate. Especially in the long run.
      Future will tell, I guess.

    You have an endless list of bad calls like MPW, SWK, MMM so clearly you have no idea when to buy a stock. Even if they might recover over the years, you need 100% gain to recover from a 50% loss.

    • @FASTgraphs
      @FASTgraphs  ปีที่แล้ว +8

      For starters, I don't make calls. Identifying attractively valued companies that could be invested in for the long run. I think the 3 you mentioned are excellent long-term opportunities. Time will prove that.

    • @Atlassian.
      @Atlassian. ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@FASTgraphs You've always said that these videos are just one step on the long road of due diligence. What makes you so nice to watch is that you have made plenty of great "calls" (if he insists on calling them that), but you don't cover those stocks over and over again because their price has appreciated and they are no longer as great of a value as they were when you "called" them. When you cover a stock and its price goes down, you're not afraid to include it again in future videos and point out that it looks even more undervalued to you. Most youtubers wouldn't do that. Also, you've been collecting fat dividends along the way and have probably been easily beating the market over the last two years on total return.

      So dumb comment seriously. Even best investors in history have something like only 60% picks right. Do you know how many bad picks had Buffett? A lot. About 40% his picks were bad. Secondly you cherry pick few bad ones but ignore awesome picks Chuck made in years. Like Microsoft in 2013, Merck in 2021 etc. Than do you have a crystal ball that you know that investment in MMM, SWK and MPW will be a bad call 5 years from now? You are probably one of people which every stock go up once they buy and you must be a billionaire as the result. Good for you that your picks never go down. Chuck explained like thousand times that share price can detach from fundamentals so even if you buy a perfect pick than share price can fall anyway.
