They didn't perform louder than bombs live because the notes are either extremely high or extremely low. RM mentioned it would be so hard to do this live.
I think is it is also because of the various effect on their voices and the layering. They can’t do all of this live. The production for this song is really high level.
Louder Than Bombs is one of my favorite song from BTS and maybe my favorite (in competition with The Truth Untold) if I can have a favorite but I think it’s nearly impossible. This song is a masterpiece, so haunting and emotional. The instrumental and the production for this song are high level, so sick. I'm obsessed with the 3 rap parts, especially Yoongi's part. The seven sing and rap this song with perfection. I can’t really explain what I’m feeling when I listen to this song. It’s gut wrenching, I cry every time. I cry a lot, I am easily emotional when I listen to music or when I watch a movie or when I read a book or admire a work of art. I’m a sensitive person so BTS make me cry a lot. I really like Heartbeat too, especially Namjoon’s part and the bridge with JK and Jimin. Thanks for this good reaction like always. 💜
Two of my most favorite BTS songs! The OST for the BTS game is stellar-some of the best group collabs are on there. The Juice WRLD collab is incredible as is the one with Charlie XCX. The first time I heard Louder Than Bombs (LTB in ARMY speak), I was shocked. Like you I had it on repeat for days.
Louder Than Bombs is definitely in my top 5, and came top of an Army poll as to the one they most want to hear live. RM was surprised, but said it’s just too difficult to do live because of the vocal layering 💜💜
Jin's family owns a hotel and it's Jin's dream to own and manage it, but his father wants to sell it. His father agrees to let Jin run the hotel if he interns first at a major hotel, but he has to complete the internship or the deal is off. Then Intern Jin gets stuck with a guest who is notorious for getting hotel employees fired. RM is a novelist and former computer hacker how is having trouble with his book. He meets a little girl that lives in the neighborhood and befriends her. Then the little girl is kidnapped. It begins to rain and the kidnapper makes it clear that the little girl is somewhere that she will drown if they don't find her in time. RM works with the police to try and find her in time. J-Hope is a veterinary school student who takes a break when he's asked to put a perfectly healthy puppy to sleep. He can not continue with the school without killing a puppy but he can not bring himself to harm an innocent animal, either. Jimin lives with his grandmother, who owns and runs a rice cake shop, while Jimin is with a dance crew, working hard for an upcoming competition. Then, his grandmother becomes ill and he has to take a break from dancing to take care of the shop. The shop and his dancing each take up too much of his time for him to do both but he loves both and, with his grandmother ill, he has to choose. Taehyung's family owns a farm in the country but Tae has been living in the city and doesn't really know anything about the farm. Then his family calls him home and takes off for an extended vacation, leaving him with a farm when he has no clue of how to do anything. He's also too far from the city to go and buy things to eat like he's used to, not to mention not having the money for that. Yoongi is a pianist at a fine arts school but as part of his schooling, he is required to perform in front of live audiences. However, he has crippling stage fright and can't bring himself to perform. Like J-Hope, if Yoongi doesn't do what the school requires, then he'll be kicked out permanently. JK is still in high school and required to join a school club. His interest is in the Taekwondo club but the club isn't doing well and the school is threatening to shut it down. JK was injured in a previous fight and is unable to fight at his best anymore and, without his skills, the club is probably going to be shut down. With all of these stories, you're supposed to integrate yourself into them and try and help the boys to overcome their problems. The end goal is to resolve their main issue and then get them together, at least as friends, if not an idol group. Oh, and you can find videos here on YT that show all of the film parts of the stories. Of course, there is stuff left out that was in the game play but, knowing the plot of each story, you can get the idea, if you want to watch any of them.

Map of the Soul: 7 was released right before the pandemic took hold in the US..I would listen to Louder Than Bombs for hours on loop, just out driving by myself during lockdowns in Chicago.. Two of my most favorite BTS songs, if that is even possible to say. I swear I couldn't pick my top 50 from BTS they have so many of these wonderful B-sides/OST. I listened to those song on repeat for about 3 months before I could treat them as regular rotation songs. Even now, every so often, I days when all I want to hear is Heartbeat, Louder than Bombs, Crystal snow, and 134340. I'm not sure you've reacted to "So Far Away" ft SURAN, but I think you would have this same reaction to that song as well. I lived on that song for weeks on end before I could move on.
Heartbeat Music Video is the official ost to the BTS game. The story tells what would have happened if the guys did not become a group, but went their own ways. But we do know that they ultimately found their destiny in each other.

I love Louder than Bombs to death! It’s in my most replayed BTS songs ever since I first heard it! The atmosphere, vocals and instrumental are so grand and ethereal, yet dark and quite eerie at the same time. It’s a shame they still haven’t performed this song…I believe they said that it’s a very hard song to do live considering the many high notes and harmonies so it makes sense. But it’s also a very emotional song, Namjoon cried a lot while writing the lyrics to it… They were also shocked to see this song as the winner of a poll that Big Hit created in 2022. ARMY’s matched together to make Louder than Bombs win. They were shocked to see it in first place. Apparently they didn’t think this song was that popular. 😅💜 I still have hope that when they come back, they will surprise us by giving us this song live for the first time! Heartbeat is the main OST for one of their mobile games called BTS World. The MV conveys an alternate universe where nobody knew each other and everybody had a different career. The message at the end of the MV with “See you there when we first met in 2012” is the premise of the game. You’re the manager of a music label and you have the task to debut a boy group that is BTS.
HEARTBEAT is OST of "BTS WORLD" mobile game app, BTS WORLD. Now it is impossible to download, since it was deleted, only information about it is available and a video is on TH-cam. Previously, I often played it immediately as soon as it came out in 2019, then when I didn’t play for a long time and wanted to continue playing, I decided to go ahead and download it again😭
Well....we got JK singing a line during a live....and Jimin sing a line during thr Run BTS episode where they found out about LTB being the biggest fan-favourite song. That's all. ARMYs can only dream of the day this ethereal song is performed in a stadium with surround sound.

they way yoongi like, mumbles in your ear in LTB... goosebumps every times. It's practically asmr. 😂 RM said they have never performed it live because it would be really hard, and I think his words were misunderstood. I don't think it would be too hard to sing for the bts members... we know they can hit those notes. I think he meant the whole thing would be a nightmare for balancing the sound live. First, it's a song that was built in the studio. It sounds like there are dozens of layered vocal tracks there that can't be replicated in realtime. So, it would have to have a really heavy backtrack. Second, the range of the song is super dynamic. They go from practically whispering to belting. Then back to soft and raspy. The aforementioned mumbling. How can you make that fill a stadium without losing the delicacy of this sound? But if anyone can pull it off, it would be them.

I can't believe you did these masterpieces in one setting. lol and yeah it's kind of a running joke in ARMY at this point how many times we've asked for these 2 songs to be played. It gets to the point of LTBs trending each time a concert happens, but Namjoon said the song is really difficult to perform, but we still hope. And it made me smile that you mentioned interlude:shadow in relation to LTB b/c both came from MOTS:7 which is where they explore about the shadows a lot, so yeah, your thoughts were spot on. :) these 2 songs are some of my faves... all of BTS World is a masterpiece (where Heartbeat is from)

when I first started listening to BTS, I had a new favorite song each week.I still stand by Film Out as my #, Crystal Snow a close second. I still find it hard to believe that Heartbeat was just for a game. their acting also, when JHope loses his "patient' made me cry, RM knocking over Suga and look of hurt on his face, Jimin yearning to dance, they all portray the feeling of this life is missing something. Dream Glow from the game is also on my playlist. Another ballad, We Are Bulletproof the Eternal is really good.

So way off topic, since it's RM's album release. Feeling sad, so I went to a tearjerking song about the "arrows" of bullying and surviving by Korean idol Hwasa, LMM. Hwasa has 2 versions I highly recommend. Her MV is just beautifully heartbreaking with its cinematography and the live version she sang at an awards show as a tribute 2 days after the death, by suicide, of Parasite actor Lee Sun Kyun who was facing minor drug use allegations!!!! His name was cleared a month after his death!!

Two of my most favorite BTS songs, if that is even possible to say. I swear I couldn't pick my top 50 from BTS they have so many of these wonderful B-sides/OST. I listened to those song on repeat for about 3 months before I could treat them as regular rotation songs. Even now, every so often, I days when all I want to hear is Heartbeat, Louder than Bombs, Crystal snow, and 134340. I'm not sure you've reacted to "So Far Away" ft SURAN, but I think you would have this same reaction to that song as well. I lived on that song for weeks on end before I could move on.

Heartbeat Music Video is the official ost to the BTS game. The story tells what would have happened if the guys did not become a group, but went their own ways. But we do know that they ultimately found their destiny in each other.

I love Louder than Bombs to death! It’s in my most replayed BTS songs ever since I first heard it! The atmosphere, vocals and instrumental are so grand and ethereal, yet dark and quite eerie at the same time. It’s a shame they still haven’t performed this song…I believe they said that it’s a very hard song to do live considering the many high notes and harmonies so it makes sense. But it’s also a very emotional song, Namjoon cried a lot while writing the lyrics to it…
They were also shocked to see this song as the winner of a poll that Big Hit created in 2022. ARMY’s matched together to make Louder than Bombs win. They were shocked to see it in first place. Apparently they didn’t think this song was that popular. 😅💜 I still have hope that when they come back, they will surprise us by giving us this song live for the first time!
Heartbeat is the main OST for one of their mobile games called BTS World. The MV conveys an alternate universe where nobody knew each other and everybody had a different career. The message at the end of the MV with “See you there when we first met in 2012” is the premise of the game. You’re the manager of a music label and you have the task to debut a boy group that is BTS.

HEARTBEAT is OST of "BTS WORLD" mobile game app, BTS WORLD. Now it is impossible to download, since it was deleted, only information about it is available and a video is on TH-cam. Previously, I often played it immediately as soon as it came out in 2019, then when I didn’t play for a long time and wanted to continue playing, I decided to go ahead and download it again😭
Well....we got JK singing a line during a live....and Jimin sing a line during thr Run BTS episode where they found out about LTB being the biggest fan-favourite song.

RM said they have never performed it live because it would be really hard, and I think his words were misunderstood. I don't think it would be too hard to sing for the bts members... we know they can hit those notes.
I think he meant the whole thing would be a nightmare for balancing the sound live. First, it's a song that was built in the studio. It sounds like there are dozens of layered vocal tracks there that can't be replicated in realtime. So, it would have to have a really heavy backtrack. Second, the range of the song is super dynamic. They go from practically whispering to belting. Then back to soft and raspy. The aforementioned mumbling. How can you make that fill a stadium without losing the delicacy of this sound?
But if anyone can pull it off, it would be them.

and yeah it's kind of a running joke in ARMY at this point how many times we've asked for these 2 songs to be played. It gets to the point of LTBs trending each time a concert happens, but Namjoon said the song is really difficult to perform, but we still hope.
And it made me smile that you mentioned interlude:shadow in relation to LTB b/c both came from MOTS:7 which is where they explore about the shadows a lot, so yeah, your thoughts were spot on. :)

when I first started listening to BTS, I had a new favorite song each week.I still stand by Film Out as my #, Crystal Snow a close second. I still find it hard to believe that Heartbeat was just for a game. their acting also, when JHope loses his "patient' made me cry, RM knocking over Suga and look of hurt on his face, Jimin yearning to dance, they all portray the feeling of this life is missing something. Dream Glow from the game is also on my playlist.
Another ballad, We Are Bulletproof the Eternal is really good.

Тексты и голоса навсегда запали мне в душу. Я чувствую их всем сердцем. Особенно сейчас, когда некоторые слова, включая название, я могу трактовать буквально из-за ситуации в мире, которая затронула и мою семью непосредственно, и я никогда не думала, что буду жить в такое время... Не хочу углубляться в подробности, но да, эта песня дарит надежду на лучшие дни и утешает меня в самые тяжёлые моменты. Я так сильно хочу когда-нибудь услышать, как ребята исполнят её вживую! Я помню, как они удивились, что именно "Ltb" победила в опросе ARMY на "самую желаемую, но никогда не исполняемую" и как я сама была удивлена их реакцией. Но она трогает так много сердец! And out of experience I can say that the "favorite song ever" changes daily ;) Right at the moment I rediscovered "Tomorrow" and "I'm Fine" and the unusual line-up like the beautiful "Jamais Vu" with Jungkook, Jin and J-Hope. So way off topic, since it's RM's album release. Feeling sad, so I went to a tearjerking song about the "arrows" of bullying and surviving by Korean idol Hwasa, LMM.
Hwasa has 2 versions I highly recommend. Her MV is just beautifully heartbreaking with its cinematography and the live version she sang at an awards show as a tribute 2 days after the death, by suicide, of Parasite actor Lee Sun Kyun who was facing minor drug use allegations!!!! His name was cleared a month after his death!!
