I'm seeing malicious comments right now saying that BTS can't do what they want musically...RM with this album shows that they are "independent" of the dictates of Kpop and that's good because they are all on another level !
LoL, on the contrary. BTS can release whatever weird music they want and we will say "genius" and buy it, why? Because it's BTS and we love them and trust them.
Exactly... Anyone that bothers to check the facts knows that BTS' contract is unheard of in the music industry as to the artistic and other freedoms they have. No one is controlling them. Even Bang PD has said that he has no expectations from the members. They have paidctheir dues and now can do what they want. He trusts them.
This music is NOT K-pop. it is indie /alternative. it is new and refreshing and yet feels familiar. it is confidence and maturity. it is risk taking and IDGAF and unapologetically HIM. Musically it's all over and I just love that. its a mix of style & sound. old but new. ELP, Les Claypool, Velvet Underground, Miles Davis, King Crimson, Yes, Gorillaz & Zappa mixed w/Balming Tiger, beat poets & Namjoon. It's brilliant & I am so thankful I know music well enough to appreciate all the quirky little nuances. A peek inside the mind of a musical genius. Thank you Namjoon!
You totally get it. This album is amazing, it has a completely new sound. And you can tell that it's for HIM. Not thinking about the trends, not thinking about tiktok or viral moments. Just pure genius. I've listened to it like 4 times, and each time is better than the last!!! Congrats Namjoon!!!
And his very first album “RM” his first album is the most aggressive you can feel the anger and him proving himself since he became an kpop idol those in the underground scene looked down at him and even his co-worker who he rap before look down at him that he is a kpop idol now can’t rap so it’s all about speed, anger aggressive, Mono is a bit depressing all his thoughts inner thoughts, indigo is my comfort album where he experiment in every track much like this one except I think this one is more cohesive of an Indie type of vibe music
This is the first time a music album messed up my mind the same way Twin Peaks messed my mind in the 90's - just brilliant! It is so experimental , the music structures should not make sense and yet - why do I keep on listening to it? You hit the nail on the head when you said RM made us feel what is in his brain. I respect RM before but I have soo much more respect to him as an artist now with this brave album. I was looking forward to your thoughts on this and man, your reaction did not dissapoint. Great video and looking forward to more craziness!
This not about a k-pop artist, this is about a global musical genious. That's why his work is timeless. He can be anything he wants and I love it. He does music for music...the Art!
RM reinvigorates the homogeneous music industry with some true creative experimentation. I thought INDIGO was genius but this pushes experimentation a stage further. CHANGE was my favourite track on INDIGO. Coming where it did in the album as a pivitol point made me snort out loud. Yes see RMs albums in order each is different from the last. It's mind boggling and we know the next will be different again. It's how RM rolls. My favourite is still Indigo, but that's because I lived with it everyday since it came out.
yes this album picks up where Change left off - but with more raw, IDGAF honest lyrics. SO many references to things hes been dragged for by the GP/Kpoppies/anti's. He is NOT a politician, it is his life, HIS SCRIPT. I love the risks, the attitude, everyone screaming for a "cypher pt 5" and in many ways he is addressing the same BS he did from the beginning - only now he doesnt have to "shut up and take it" - he is mature enough and confident enough in himself to put this out to the world and I love it and i love this for him. Plus I adore his deep husky sing/speak voice throughout.
I love this album. His last album Indigo was described as "the comfort of the eldest daughters" and this one is described as "the release of the truth tellers." Which he confirmed in his MiniMoni video with Jimin. He said Indigo, he expressed himself but felt no release. This one, a weight has been lifted. It's very brave because this kind of Indie/experimental does not have a history in Korea. It's the kind of thing you would find in a London/New York/LA, Indie house.
I was so impressed by your reaction and couldn’t resist commenting. You so accurately noticed that Namjoon’s lyrics are very conscious, straightforward and the kind that make you look at things differently. I want to talk about the music itself because how experimental it is and how fresh it is. in my normal state and in my usual calm state, I listen to just such melancholy-positive music with a beautiful instrumental, so this album is a gift for me. Recently, Namjoon has really been listening to a lot of different music and has become friends with many musicians who may not be so popular, but at the same time they go on their own wave, he was inspired and I understand him because it is impossible to ignore creativity that inspires. One of the members of the rock group Silica Gel participated in the creation of the album as a producer. I would really like you to react to at least one of their songs “Dissert Eagle”. one of his friends is a member of the group Balmin Tiger, they even have a fit “sexy nukim” I highly recommend it.” comeback to me, another wonderful musician HYUKOH left his mark. I highly recommend listening to “die alone” “hooka”. Yes, these musicians are not as popular as K-pop groups, but not learning more about Korean musicians who create rock, alternative and indie pop music, I consider this a crime against music. Thank you for your reaction and such reflection in terms of lyrics because Namjoon really appreciates it. (if anything please forgive my bad English)
A lot of ARMY may be put off by this album, but I’m loving it. It’s a sonic landscape of incredible texture. It’s obviously experimental while being genius. The lyrics are blank verse, half rhymes, couplets all combined to create cohesive thought and chaos simultaneously. This was crafted to be an artistic statement and not to be a Billboard bullshit baby. The Beat Generation meets Bangtan, and I’m love it.
I think the fact it pushes what most people would expect is what makes it special! Of course it may not have the catchiest, simple hooks but the fact he’s tried to make something unique in a tik-tok generation is something that should be celebrated ☺️
A lot of ARMY are LOVING this. A lot came from outside of kpop and remain outside of it even after falling in love with BTS. So this is right on a lot of people’s alleys. There are more recent kpop fans who became BTS fans after they made it big because kpop fans are mainly there for the clout they don’t have in real life through the idols they worship. THOSE might struggle with this album.
put off? haven't seen any armys being put off by this tbh. If anyone is put off by it, they're prob casual listeners or general kpop fans. Armys knows how to appreciate art.
@@el-dawn you're absolutely right, ARMY appreciate his work just as much as that of the other members, because BTS has the ability to make you enjoy music that you might not have chosen to listen to by yourself (that's my case, and I love it ^^)
I’m an ARMY and I actually connect to this more than Indigo. I feel it’s really him. I do appreciate Indigo and it does have elements only namjoon but THIS album seems like something (sound) he’s always wanted to do.
I discovered BTS in January 2023 and now they are my favorite group ever, and i am 52. I come from an alternative rock and indie fan background so this is definitely more in my lane than a song like dynamite. Heaven is my favorite track. Mono is still my favorite RM album though, although the creativity in this album is off the charts and the videos are works of art. If you enjoyed Heaven then you will love the Mono album.
Hello!! I’m a baby army as well. I discovered them like three months ago. I’m glad I found them before this album came out. It’s a work of art, honestly. Brave and neat. My fav track is Nuts, the bass gets me. Sadly at this moment RM is serving and he cannot give us the chance to reverence him for this.
@anasofiaargenal5511 congratulations on finding BTS. They will bring you much happiness while also sharing in your struggles and sorrows. Their discography will touch your soul and expand your musical boundaries. It is an amazing journey. Nuts is my second favorite song on the album and at this point maybe tied for first. Lol. Let me know if you need any recommendations.
I already left my thoughts of this album on your RM LOST! Video. But you see what I mean?!?! At first listen, this album was confusing coz there’s so much going on musically. The layers and the instrumentals were going crazy!!! The entire album just gets better and better with every listen!! Maybe it’s all the switch ups? I feel like it’s waking up my brain. Like with social media nowadays, my brain feels stuck. Just in a zombie state. With just mindlessly scrolling through platforms like TikTok and IG…the musicality in this album kinda jerks my brain back to reality because it doesn’t do what my brain is expecting it to do. Match that with the meaning behind the songs, it’s a total awakening. The whole Kendrick/drake drops was hip hop being reborn. And with RMs new album, music is being reborn as well. What a time!
I was just thinking this. We’re being so spoiled this year from huge artists showing more of themselves and doing it well and beyond so many expectations.
It seems RM is now a musician who is expanding his musical world without being conscious of commercial success or charts. From the highest position as a member of BTS, he could have easily made much more mainstream and popular choices, but instead he is firmly pushing forward in the direction he wants to go, with his musical conviction taking priority over streaming numbers or chart performance. For example, even though he could have readily featured much more globally famous singers on his songs, he instead chose to collaborate with musicians who are not as well-known globally but whom he personally likes and admires to make music together. When I listened to his previous album 'indigo', I was truly in awe of every track, but now he seems to have really entered a realm that can no longer be limited to just 'idol music.' I am so proud that this person is the leader of BTS 😊😊
Well said!!! Namjoon really wish to have album/song that relates to everyone in every generation and listened for a long time. He is showing us about him not BTS yet we also know and got the hint of his existence in BTS and why BTS being BTS; not just a kpop group.
This album is definitely a grower as you said, its incredible but boggles my mind in a way. RMs catalogue is so strong, the RM mixtape is insane, ‘Rush’ is one of my favourite songs. Mono was an incredible mixtape that was unlike anything at the time, Indigo is in my top ten albums of all time. I’ve really enjoyed this album but I know I’ll love it so much more with time.
Agree with Army here. BTS as a group and their work as solo artists are more than k-pop. They’ve earned this privilege through their hard work that not many SK artists have. There’s Korean language in their music but alone doesn’t mean it’s “k-pop” to me.
I am so glad that you got the brilliance of the production on this album. And you're right, I think a lot of people are very intimidated by the flat-out bluntness of his honesty on this one. TBH Indigo was a completely different style of honesty and MONO was as well. His lyricism is what has always gotten me because he writes with such intent that it almost makes it sound like he chooses words at random lol. Even the songs he's the main writer on for BTS are different than the other members. Someone said that Heaven sounds like a song the Beatles would make if they were making music today, and I totally hear it.
Namjoon took alllll of my favorite aspects of my favorite genres and smashed them into a musical journey. Not only is it wild production and art direction in itself; but this is a project from the leader of the biggest Korean artists in the world (and biggest boyband). Namjoon has an extremely rare background and more stories yet to tell. This album is sick.
I appreciate your honest reaction about the album. He's so unique and full of surprises, you always need to go through each line of his songs and with full concentration cause there is always a hidden message between the lines. He started preparing for the album just or even before releasing his first album Indigo (You have to check it, for me it's my favorite album) and now this masterpiece. He even have 2 mixtapes before : RM (Rap Monster) and Mono.
If you were familiar with Sexy Nukim and Change Pt 2 this release isn’t that surprising. Joonie has given his artistic sensibilities free rein and I’m here for it. He doesn’t have to panda to popular taste and that means we get his undiluted genius. I’ve had this on all day and it gets better every listen. Heaven is giving me Michael Kiwanuka - Cold Little Heart vibes.
LoL, that's true. I have been thinking the same. It's like only JK and JM have done pop music in their solos. The cat has done mostly rap, JH mostly hip hop and even rock, V has done R&B and jazz, Jin apparently will come with a rock album and RM is a very interesting rapper who comes with this... BTS pop?? Sometimes, but not even all of their OT7 discography is pop... Not at all. I think people who say that has only heard dynamite, butter and boy with love 😂😂😂😂
Kpop, per Suga is not a genre (pop) but is best defined as "integrated content" music plus dance plus fashion/ makeup. It contains all genre just like American music industry does
Tbf, these two pop members did _really_ well with their solos, and the grp's most poppy singles did the best in terms of charts and sales. Personally, I think that says a lot more abt the music industry and the masses listening than abt BTS's music. Can't really blame the band that the industry finds pop, esp english pop, the safest genre to push/invest in when the gp mainly tunes into pop stuff the most too.
He's so the most unique and talented rapper, composer, songwriter, producer and human being ,every song he does has a different story and different emotions!! love your reaction ❤ I can't wait for your Indigo one 😍😍
namjoon has been great in choosing artists/musicians to feature in his songs, they always fit the vibe. you will see this in his indigo album which most of the songs have features, you've heard it in wild flower with youjeen which is an incredible feature! also, this album is definitely a combination of RM (his first mixtape), mono, and indigo which shows namjoon's growth 💜
Loved your reaction and insight! I love this album. His musical thought process is so innovative, and I love that he doesn't give a f**k about the charts. He is making music for himself and his Army. It's brilliant. Keep it up, Namjoonie. I can't wait for more! Roll on June 2025 💜
This is his best album so far for me. You won't understand the massive growth he's had until you have listened to all his previous discography. This is mind-blowing and one for the history books for sure!!! Thank you for the great reactions!!! 💜
I know the song Come Back to Me is inspired by the book The Midnight Library but I've also heard the whole album may also draw inspiration from the book
Honestly, I think this album is brilliant! The vibe it gives me is to just relax and listen with a drink, it’s such an emotional ride from beginning til it’s end! just brilliant!
I think RM is one of the most brilliant, brave and truthful artists ever! I feel like he takes me on a musical journey while opening my eyes and ears to the most wonderful experiences. Truly grateful to have found BTS and especially RM! Loved your enthusiastic reaction and appreciation of this complex and beautiful album.
Namjoon went above and beyond with RPWP - this album is such a gem! We're used to style changes with BTS in their group music or solo stuff but this is the most radical one so far, and I'm all for it! Haters will keep calling BTS puppets that are handed songs and dance but ARMY knows what they are capable of and that's all that matters. They'll never get to experience this - shame on them 💜
Interesting musical references. I can understand why you chose those. I hear Nas, Smashing Pumpkins, God Speed You Black Emperor, Thelonius Monk and Allen Ginsberg. But in the end, you’re right, it’s just Namjoon stretching his wings and creativity. And doing it very very well.
I’ve just started watching your reactions but I am really enjoying especially your Spring Day video. What a way to kick off your first BTS/member solo album release with RPWP!
I didn’t think he can top Indigo but I have to give it to RM, I think this album is his best one yet. I love it so much and I grow infatuated the more I listen to it.
To me Heaven sounds like something from Pink Floyd 's Dark Side of the Moon! In the best way! 🤩 I haven't had the chance to properly relisten to that album again to properly compare to work out which song in particular, but the dreamy, spacey-ness, the synths and the vocals in the back gives me Dark Side of the Moon vibes!
This album is the cumulation of Namjoon’s other albums RM, Mono and Indigo, makes sense because he said it’s a register of his 20’s. He couldn’t have produced this album if he hadn’t made the other ones and it’s really insane how they’re all completely different but they’re all intricately him and all four form a single body of work
Right Place Wrong person is truly a masterpiece. I was so shocked and got the goosebumps so many times while listening to it. The lyrics and the production are insane 🔥 He really made the album of the year and he ate everyone ngl
RM musical sphere is insane. He brings new sound, experimental aspects and various mixture that many are not familiar with. It is a risky but he nailed it. FYI, what he did is not usual in kpop. He is a rare breed like the rest of bts members. On your comment if it’s from personal experience, yes it is. This album is the respond for the antis, people’s unrealistic expectations on him and likely his past relationship too
This is a 10/10 for me, and it's so hard to rank his stuff. I highly rec his (and the other members) early music just to see their progression as musicians. It's kind of wild how different this is from his first mixtape (RM) yet you can still see the connection between the two, esp in the topics he touches on in both.
Heaven being your favourite from this album (just like me) tells me that you will absolutely love Mono and Indigo. Please listen to them soon!! Mono is the album that made me become a fan of BTS ❤
new to your channel; love your reaction! i feel the same way! NamJoon is one of a kind for this era of music. This album is definitely not for the regular kpop listener; nor, for some younger BTS fans. all of RM's albums are unique, and gripping; right now, this is my favorite because it is what he wanted to say. He didn't use any filters and let it all out. The video with RM & Jimin listening to RPWP, together is solid, & one gets insights into RM's journey with this album. This man is a treasure. (in so many ways)
6:03 the quiet but pretty popular conclusion i’ve seen a lot of ppl come to is that some of the tracks on rpwp and indigo are ab the guy w an emoji covering his face he would consistently post on his personal instagram but then abruptly deleted all pics of at once 😭 i think it’s likely but even not knowing anything ab namjoon, the songs are so visceral and vulnerable that you can feel the painful love and grief without knowing anything ab that person or their relationship as well
This album is so interesting in the way that it feels like until the very last track, you’re trying to put your finger on something but you don’t quite know what. I had that feeling, then when my dad and I were sharing music, I shared this album with him and he voiced the same feeling. I wonder if it was purposeful. The album itself seems like he is trying to find something, and finally finding that in Come back to me which makes you feel a sense of calm and relief. Like you’ve finally found what the rest of the album has had you searching for. Just my take on that.
10 / 10. Indigo was my IT, and I was skeptical because indigo was so good .... YET, here we are. (Also your Taylor Mari reaction made me sub to you 💜) I'm an OT7 ARMY (I think you might know by now waht OT7 means) and so I am always excited for anything the boys release as 7, duos trios or solo. This album from Joonie was so RAW and it is what we needed (he is usually raw, like 80% but this was 100%) but above all is what HE needed and I am so happy for him. Thank you for reacting to this 🙏🏾 Hope you enjoy the rest of the journey.
Western industry and korean media promote BTS as kpop, they are ARTISTS beyond kpop Bts actually have meaningful lyrics, best performances, best music....kpop lack of these things, the labels do everything, the idols are called idols because they are talented, beautiful people who perform, i don't see almost any artistic growth in them, they don't write their music, they just perform it, wear makeup and trendy outfits, cool settings and visuals for the video, but that's just the aesthetic, their lyrics doesn't have meaning, that's why BTS are diffrent they are the biggest group ever not kpop only but whole world, there are fans diffrent ages, sexuality, skin color who are Army not only girls Before i though that Bts are over hyped, that they just wear makeup, pretty boys who dance, but no, after learning their story, music, lyrics, personalities, fans i can say that no group in the world has been better or is gonna be better Also they are most awarded artists ever with over 1400+ awards ,surpassed Michael Jakson, and so humble, innocent men who deserve everything good 👍🏻
So every album he releases is completely different and you have to listen to them in order to understand his growth as a person and musician. This album will take a few listens from me to get it sorted in my old brain lol. Indigo for me is beautiful also with some introspection but in this album he's full on about himself and his feelings in depth. He is very analytical about his life and life in general and his high IQ comes thru with bullets in this album as well as his musical ability which also shines. RM has never been afraid of pushing musical boundaries and now while BTS is on hiatus ( which we all believe stands for Hi Its Us from the amount of content we have been given while they are serving in the military) was the perfect time to drop this album. The whole group is so diverse musically that it always amazes me that they come together to form one cohesive group.
In these days full of madness BTS is my comfort zone. I feel better when I hear them. I love them so, so much! Can`t wait when they comeback in 2025.I still in love with RM`s "Indigo" album and listen to it very often. This album is something new. Our RM is incredible! 💜💜💜
I love Right People, Wrong place - it’s so perfect as the opening of the album. I don’t believe Nuts would have the same impact without the first track setting the mood for it
Namjoon is brilliant choosing collaborations in his albums. In his previous Album, Indigo, he had collaborations in 8 of the 10 songs and each of them was perfect. For Wildflower, which you already heard, Namjoon said that from the beginning he had Youjeen in mind to participate in the song, and if she did not accept he was going to change it completely, even the language of the song because it was that serious for him.
I love the album! The sound mixes, melodies & vocal mixes are very experimental but work so well! I love the way RM rap on the rhythm & the lyrics. He made it so obvious the album or at least some songs are not for charts XD Korean lyrics yet those explicit lyrics would be banned for any broadcasts in Korea. I love his “weird” vocals, he made the “weird” interesting melody to match & kinda dreamy feel. Perfect fit to the album title! Genius! Definitely check out his previous albums & mixtapes please. Each one = surprise 😊
I was completely lost... but happily so when I listened to it the first 5 or 6 times. I was wandering around my living room like Jimin does just thinking for much of that night. By the time I was in my car heading to work I was singing and bopping along to Lost... Dump it on the ground... pick it up... throw it in the trunk. .... The more I listen... the more I love it.
This is meeeeeee 😭😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 I got temptation, and that part in arround the world in a day where RM goes off in the middle of the song 😂😂😂😭😭😭i literally mastered the lyrics to that part sooo well that i can sing along very welll without looking at the lyrics 😭😂😂😂😂😂😂
@yesitis034 Yep... I made a mistake for the first 48 hours though before I saw the lyrics. I kept singing "throw it in the truck"... I guess because a lot of people here have pickup trucks and that is what zi envisioned... but then I caught on.. but then I realized he talks about his "trunk" quite a lot. 😅 Considering he doesn't drive I should have caught on that he meant a storage trunk.. like what they pack all their stuff in for concerts. At first you think you are done with something and even sick of it... so you throw it away... then looking at it on the ground... you realize it is part of you and you might even need it again... so you pick it up and throw it is a trunk... where you don't have to see it again... but you can still get to it if you need it.
As Namjoon said in "Do you": "I'm not pop, I'm not rock, I'm not funk, I'm not R&B or hiphop..." not all music can be "tag" are something he's a musician that makes freaking good music, this album is not kpop ❤
In my opinion older army, non kpop fans, a real musicians will love namjoon album, idk about newer generation they dont get what we get in the old days while music is real music
When we say BTS is beyond K-pop, they are artists and musicians in the truest sense of the word, we mean this. This depth of thought, lyricism, instrumentals, creativity is not found in Kpop, it is so profound and unique. You also don't see a mainstream/worldwide phenomenon, with huge fanbase, experimenting so much with their music. It just doesn't happen because once artists find their niche, they usually stick to it. RM, the leader of the biggest group in the world, could release same thing again. But he chose to experiment and be raw - that's what makes him and the boys stand out and that's why we love them. Who could have thought that the same man who made 'Mono' and 'Indigo', made this album. It takes guts and you need to have a love for your art to continuously evolve and grow, rather than sticking to trending sounds to make it a commercial success. My respect and love grows each day for BTS. So proud to be BTS Army
In the vid where he played the album for Jimin (it's called Mini and Moni Music on BangtanTV channel if you want to see his insight on the album and explanations of the songs) he said that he said everything he wanted to say as RM. Indigo was about his feeling as a member of BTS, but even after dropping it he didn't feel lighter at all and he said in RPWP he said everything that he felt as just himself.
None of the members have been in public relationships. They keep their private lives private. It’s really hard because they obviously have had relationships and are probably in relationships but because fans in the Kpop industry tend to be so intense, it’s not the done thing to announce these things. For example Chen from EXO wrote a letter to fans to apologise for announcing his marriage. Isn’t that crazy? That a person feels like they need to do that? There’s also a trend in the Kpop industry for some fans to stop stanning groups when they find out they are in relationships. It’s very bizarre but it comes from the parasocial relationships that are cultivated over time. I think it’s obvious from RM’s lyrics in many songs that he has had relationships in the past. He always talks about the things he’s learned whether they are about himself or relationships. It is unreasonable to expect fully grown (HOT) men to remain unattached throughout their careers. But many fans are not ready to acknowledge the truth of that. One of my least favourite aspects to the Kpop community. 😕
This is not just an album.. this is namjoon, not RM of bts but Kim Namjoon.. you should react to MiniMoni Music, it's Jimin and RM.. you will know there what's this album meant to RM and the things he'd been through after the hiatus of BTS.. this album is special.. it is RM's emotion
if you take reccomnendations I'd love to see an onlyoneof reaction! their music style isnt like this but their production is so atmospherif and interesting, they also participate in their songs :)) their mini album instinct part 1 is a must
When I heard it the first thing that came to my mind was.."avante garde" This would have been totally at home at an Andy Worhol party... Truman Capote would have been geekin out to it.

This is RM's BEST album, hands down
If youre doing bts's debut album please dont forget the HIDDEN TRACKS!! : *Skit!on the Start line & Road/Path*
I'm seeing malicious comments right now saying that BTS can't do what they want musically...RM with this album shows that they are "independent" of the dictates of Kpop and that's good because they are all on another level !
I love how unique they all are in their own ventures and I think RM proves just how deep and brilliant he can be! ☺️
I like your intake, and you are right about BTS. BTS do what they like to connect with us thier fans ARMY.
How is that malicious, if incorrect
Kpop is not a genre, it's more equivalent to "American music industry" which contains all genres.
yessssss!! wow!
Ohh your gonna love indigo
One of the albums I’m most looking forward to getting stuck into! 😁
And I feel like RPWP is a combine of all his album it really reminded me of his very first album “RM”

You should listen to this album non-stop from top to bottom, 'cause the transitions in this are soooo seamless. It's such an experience!
I did! This is an edited version ☺️👍
RM reinvigorates the homogeneous music industry with some true creative experimentation. I thought INDIGO was genius but this pushes experimentation a stage further. yes this album picks up where Change left off - but with more raw, IDGAF honest lyrics. SO many references to things hes been dragged for by the GP/Kpoppies/anti's.
RM is a cerebral and fearless artist exploring the boundaries of music. His focus is not on gone-tomorrow trends but what he is passionate about
I was so impressed by your reaction and couldn’t resist commenting.
Lol. Let me know if you need any recommendations.
a real artist
Yes this is rm electrifying us💯
I was just thinking this.
Such interesting sounds on this it’s all so cerebral and experimental. I’m loving it!!
Namjoon is the type of artist who creates the most unique art. He is on pace to create his own musical genre!True genius!💫💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💫
I am waiting for people to realise that only 1-2 members of BTS is actually “pop”.
Exactly... A lot of what BTS does as a group isn't even pop. They definitely need a whole new classification. They do whatever they want to do.
@@javinnelaureen Hold the phone! Where did you hear that Jin's album will be rock? That is awesome news!!!
This album is a masterpiece, I am grateful every day for living in the same era as this man
namjoon has been great in choosing artists/musicians to feature in his songs, they always fit the vibe. you will see this in his indigo album which most of the songs have features, you've heard it in wild flower with youjeen which is an incredible feature! also, this album is definitely a combination of RM (his first mixtape), mono, and indigo which shows namjoon's growth 💜
Namjoon makes arts.
U sumed it up
You're a great reactor for thoughtful albums. Perfect for BTS.
Its absolutly amazing how diferent and how talented are all the bts's members... RM just Showing what is the definition of Artist in this album
I know the song Come Back to Me is inspired by the book The Midnight Library but I've also heard the whole album may also draw inspiration from the book
Thank you for reacting to this! I love the album soooo much
Thanks for reacting and helping me understand the music. Sometimes I don’t always understand poet RM’s lyrics, his IQ is way above mine 😂
Don’t worry, it’s WAAAAAAY above mine too! 🤣
I think this album is a funky masterpiece
Excactly my though, how on earth he made these musics. The genius Leader RM💜
Rm is a magnificent creative artist and I love his intelligence and quality as leader and as human being 😊💖💜💖💜💖💜💖
The vibes in this album are so refreshing, not industrualized music just raw creativeness. LOVE THIS
Respect him so much thank you.
They'll never get to experience this - shame on them 💜
Honestly his best album so far. Its brilliant.
I hear NIN, Frank Zappa, Ween, Tyler the Creator, Kendrick, Jethro Tull… like this is BEYOND KPop and it’s just… RM 💜 aka Kim Namjoon
I haven't had the chance to properly relisten to that album again to properly compare to work out which song in particular, but the dreamy, spacey-ness, the synths and the vocals in the back gives me Dark Side of the Moon vibes!
This album is the cumulation of Namjoon’s other albums RM, Mono and Indigo, makes sense because he said it’s a register of his 20’s. He couldn’t have produced this album if he hadn’t made the other ones and it’s really insane how they’re all completely different but they’re all intricately him and all four form a single body of work
This is like a painting, everything's in display for us to see.
Right Place Wrong person is truly a masterpiece. I was so shocked and got the goosebumps so many times while listening to it. The lyrics and the production are insane 🔥
He really made the album of the year and he ate everyone ngl
RM musical sphere is insane. He brings new sound, experimental aspects and various mixture that many are not familiar with. It is a risky but he nailed it. FYI, what he did is not usual in kpop. He is a rare breed like the rest of bts members. On your comment if it’s from personal experience, yes it is. This album is the respond for the antis, people’s unrealistic expectations on him and likely his past relationship too
i hope you react to rm (mixtape), mono (mixtape) and indigo (album)
you can really see his growth as an artist over the years and its so cool
This is a 10/10 for me, and it's so hard to rank his stuff. I highly rec his (and the other members) early music just to see their progression as musicians.
It's kind of wild how different this is from his first mixtape (RM) yet you can still see the connection between the two, esp in the topics he touches on in both.
the music video for groin came out today and it was actually filmed in the uk
Heaven being your favourite from this album (just like me) tells me that you will absolutely love Mono and Indigo. Please listen to them soon!! Mono is the album that made me become a fan of BTS ❤
I think the best listen is with headphones...
I would start with his first mixtape and see his phases in evolution. This album is so expiramental. Gives me 60s vibes.
RM breaking all the rules... saying what he wants to say... making a work of art. 🔥💜
The more I listen, the more I like it❤
Heaven reminds me a bit of Father John Misty or even Lana Del Rey, but somehow it works with the rest of the album
new to your channel; love your reaction! i feel the same way!
WE SHOULD SUPPORT OUR ARMY LEADER, LET'S STREAM TOGETHER
10 / 10.
Indigo was my IT, and I was skeptical because indigo was so good .... YET, here we are.
(Also your Taylor Mari reaction made me sub to you 💜)
I'm an OT7 ARMY (I think you might know by now waht OT7 means) and so I am always excited for anything the boys release as 7, duos trios or solo. This album from Joonie was so RAW and it is what we needed (he is usually raw, like 80% but this was 100%) but above all is what HE needed and I am so happy for him.
Thank you for reacting to this 🙏🏾 Hope you enjoy the rest of the journey.
If youre doing bts's debut album please dont forget the HIDDEN TRACKS!! : *Skit!on the Start line & Road/Path*
Western industry and korean media promote BTS as kpop, they are ARTISTS beyond kpop
Bts actually have meaningful lyrics, best performances, best music....kpop lack of these things, the labels do everything, the idols are called idols because they are talented, beautiful people who perform, i don't see almost any artistic growth in them, they don't write their music, they just perform it, wear makeup and trendy outfits, cool settings and visuals for the video, but that's just the aesthetic, their lyrics doesn't have meaning, that's why BTS are diffrent they are the biggest group ever not kpop only but whole world, there are fans diffrent ages, sexuality, skin color who are Army not only girls
Before i though that Bts are over hyped, that they just wear makeup, pretty boys who dance, but no, after learning their story, music, lyrics, personalities, fans i can say that no group in the world has been better or is gonna be better
Also they are most awarded artists ever with over 1400+ awards ,surpassed Michael Jakson, and so humble, innocent men who deserve everything good 👍🏻
Hectic by RM is similar to Heaven I love that song so much
That's wild cuz I thought the exact same thing!! I love Hectic too
So every album he releases is completely different and you have to listen to them in order to understand his growth as a person and musician.
This album is a marterpiece frrrr
Ik the album came out recently but it deserves so much more love and attention because it is a work of art!
In these days full of madness BTS is my comfort zone. I feel better when I hear them. I love them so, so much! Can`t wait when they comeback in 2025.I still in love with RM`s "Indigo" album and listen to it very often.
This album is something new. Our RM is incredible! 💜💜💜
I loved the album from the start but with every listen I fall more in love with it
For me its RPWP>Mono>Indigo. Moonchild(From Mono) is still my favourite song of his tho:)
I love Right People, Wrong place - it’s so perfect as the opening of the album.
I don’t believe Nuts would have the same impact without the first track setting the mood for it
This is so different from RM he said it took a year to make before the military he left it for us ! They all left stuff for us
Thank you for give it a listen to our boy
I’ve been loving these videos, fellow South Londoner here haha
Eyyyy! Love to see it! 🙌
Обожаю ваши реакции! Благодаря им ещё больше повышается ценность музыкантов! Вы невероятный!
I’m obsessed with this album. Parts of it are giving me 80’s “The Cure” vibes. One of my favorite bands from the 80’s.
You must listen to his last album only about 18 months old you will love it it’s beautiful INDIGO !,
It’s on my list to do! ☺️
You understood the vibe and the purpose of the album perfectly.
RightPlaceWrongPerson is soooooo good 🤩👍
In my opinion older army, non kpop fans, a real musicians will love namjoon album, idk about newer generation they dont get what we get in the old days while music is real music
So proud to be BTS Army
the way i love this album isnt normal
This album vs Trivia Love 😭 the difference is damning
Please react to joke by RM the lyrics are mad
This is not just an album.. this is namjoon, not RM of bts but Kim Namjoon.. you should react to MiniMoni Music, it's Jimin and RM.. you will know there what's this album meant to RM and the things he'd been through after the hiatus of BTS.. this album is special.. it is RM's emotion
If you haven't checked it out yet, but there's a MV for Groin and I think it was films in the UK.
if you take reccomnendations I'd love to see an onlyoneof reaction! their music style isnt like this but their production is so atmospherif and interesting, they also participate in their songs :)) their mini album instinct part 1 is a must
When I heard it the first thing that came to my mind was.."avante garde" This would have been totally at home at an Andy Worhol party... Truman Capote would have been geekin out to it.
