I highly recommend people check out Level5Pidgey on YT for some classic OG Dva ult techs that are still useful today, mostly places where you can launch the bomb and get insane LoS and coverage

I should have the rest of it is so easy. I don't know how anyone would mess it up
I have it saved, pretty useful especially when you can't get to the bomb in time to check where it exploded
the damage radius is so much smaller than I thought 😳 had a few times where I can litterally see the DVA bombs sometimes panic sprinting away as ana only to not take any damage.
Small radius my ass lol I be 6ft and RUNNING away to still die to that bullshit

Growing up I played so much overwatch but now as an adult I actually find it mad how people could dedicate time to lining up Dva bombs when there’s so much more stuff you could be doing with your time

Yes, very classical characteristic of the tank, the ability to ranged-aoe one-shot anyone
there are limitless ways to escape dva bombs, just break los, put a shield up, use immortality/suzu, move the bomb (roadhog hook, rein pin, lw petal....)
I didn't know there was a survivable distance
I never thought I'd say this as a squishy support main but I feel it's kinda weak and positioning dva bombs isn't the most important. Sure it is important, but you gotta bait out like 6 different abilities and make sure there's no natural cover around before it's going to do anything. Having said that, it's brilliant in OT if you land it on the payload for eg. Positioning there = v important XD

You know what would be nice? This, but giving angles to other arc/throwing projectiles: Ana's grenade, Sigma's rock, Ashe's TNT, Ramatra's vortex, Bastion's bomb, Baptiste's disk. Sometimes I'm getting to the spot where my team is struggling and I want to hit right over the walls like in Numbani, Blizzard World, King's Row, but I never know the right angle...
I wish that i could use these mechanics to train my junkrat, so i can discover some neat line ups
This is all useful and all till hog hooks the bomb and messes it all up anyways

New overwatch players have it so easy, there’s a workshop mode for every thing you could possibly practice, I spent 250 hrs getting intuition for Dva bombs

I'm really good at dva for a plat player but i suck so hard at her ult i usually get more kills with the recall than the actual self destruct

i dont fully understand the point to the rope disconnecting when theres a wall, this isnt overwatch 1 where her bomb kills her and everyones hit box is different.
Why do you need to hide from the bomb?
How have I played this game since day 1 and never known that she has a 600dmg section to her ult? Ive gotten the 200dmg falloff before but never the 600, I guess cause that would just insta kill a tank anyways in ow1 and in ow2 dvas are easier to track and hide from? Idk

That doesn’t fix my issues of getting masters 4 and above enemies while in diamond 5, also with me getting diamond teamates that play like they’re silvers. Comp explains that masters can only play within 5 divisions, so why am I getting matched with masters 4, 3, 2 and 1s? Even too 500
