She’s a miracle. Every sound that comes from her is angelic. Also, her personality is genuine. I follow her on Instagram and she shared her life experiences and suggestions, not just for singing but also for nutrition, exercise and personal well being. I met her in South Florida when she was 16, and she had a full voice. Nadine’s voice lives in my heart. ❤

Praised for her vocal beauty, seamless technique, and abundant musicality, Nadine Sierra is being hailed as one of the most promising, young talents in opera today. She was named the Richard Tucker Award Winner in 2017 and was awarded the 2018 Beverly Sills Artist Award by the Metropolitan Opera. Having made a string of successful debuts at the Met, Teatro alla Scala, Opéra national de Paris, and Staatsoper Berlin, she has become a fixture at many of the top houses around the world. On August 24th, 2018, her debut album, There’s a Place for Us, was released under the Deutsche Grammophon/Universal Music labels.

I love your commentary and totally agree. I use this performance to show my students the importance of support and every time I get lost in her performance. She is simply incredible. And so young! Thanks for being a light in our community of teachers. Brava.

It is, as expected, incredibly beautiful

I didn't hear her breathe. I don't understand the techniques, but it is easy to react like you do. The absolute control of her voice, but the emotion comes though.
I learned about drama when I saw the Wagner Das Rheingold. That TV performance made me understand that opera should be seen. Thank you for this performance. She is perfection.

This comment is being written before watching the full video. But I had to say that there are 2 people in this world that got me into Opera. And I can't thank both of them enough! And those 2 people are on this video today, it's Linor and Nadine :) Thank you!!

Wow, what an honor! THis was not a wasted day for me, then. Thank you for saying that. I remember the people who got me into opera as well. You don't forget that, if you started loving opera midway into life!

The old Italian breathing techniques are quite amazing. Once you’ve got them in your system you can do amazing things. It almost looks like you are doing nothing. If you’ve never studied the old school appogio techniques I highly recommend it. It’s how singing like this is possible, that and great genetics. Lol.

You! SCARY Vocal Coach YOU! "NO! You HAVE to DO it!" 🤣
Thank you for this introduction to Nadine. Yes perfection, and to perform at this level after already an hour or so - solo - on stage is even more impressive. I did see her breath BTW - a couple of times...😊 You're right. It IS important to aim high right from the beginning and then see how far you can progress. Why aim low! Within reason of course, you don't want to flounder in inadequacy either. Achieving anything of substance takes commitment and perseverance. You can have the most unique talent in the world - but if you don't put the effort in...

To sing opera you need much more than a beautiful voice, much more than a technique. Much more than nice gowns.

Hi Linor! Nice reaction on Nadine. I really like the way you analyze the technicalities on singer’s voices. I especially enjoyed your reaction to Alanis M. & Freddie M. singing.
Can you do a reaction to the song, “Take Hold of the Flame” by Queensryche. Although there’s quite a few reactions on this song, I would really love to hear your technical analysis on the singer Geoff Tate’s voice who I think you will like. Thanks again for your videos!

She makes me so aroused I just can't help it. Her overwhelming beauty makes her somehow even MORE overpowering voice. The way she opens so aggressively and strong with that tongue stabbing energy, and just glides glass exploding high notes for hours long it seems. As my ear drums beginning to quake like the walls themselves, then rest of the building ...just god! Nadine always exercises and shows full force to hold her mouth open and just blast out her chest and shoulders to get her head to turn into a super sonic cannon, under her queenly mercy as her majesty always belts out her long full breathe high note , followed by sustained pressure on the world in front of her mouth beam. Just always right before I can't take a second longer of her opera singing wrath , just before I hold my ears and I wince in pain, she perfectly releases me from her own body as if she knows how to hold me down to the ground

Can I make a request for a song? Have you heard of the Norwegian singer Sissel Kyrkjebø? She is the national treasure of Norway and has a unbelievable voice. Her voice can also be heard in the 1997 Titanic movie. Could you react to her performing "Pie Jesu" by Andrew Lloyd Webber? ( th-cam.com/video/7QVDoYghauo/w-d-xo.html )

I'm not a real fan of opera, but some singers I like, purely because of the sound of their voice. Aida Garifullina for example, has an exquisite voice. This Nadine Sierra however, represents the type of soprano that made me NOT listen to any opera for half a century. I find her voice excruciating. The type of voice that makes glass break. And my ear drums.

Problem is ”professionals” think she’s good. She’s not. Very irritating.

    th-cam.com/video/CiXVoa9LIHw/w-d-xo.html... th-cam.com/video/L8k7bSewol0/w-d-xo.html...
Думаю в первом приглашённом судье ты узнаешь его, он тоже оперный певец Юсиф Эйвазов, муж так же оперной певицы,
Анны Нетребко. Хорошо если ещё послушаешь после выступления отзывы (пока не оценки) "судей".
