As she’s a teacher of what looks like elementary kids, this is horrible. You should NEVER call out a kid just because they are standing up for themself, that’s how you lock up a kid’s confidence into a box. As someone who’s teacher yelled at them in the 3rd grade in front of the whole class for making a VERY SMALL mistake as a 3RD GRADER, I can say it put me down a lot. I was influenced where I lost 80% of my social skills, and turned super introverted, because I felt if I made a mistake, I’d get yelled at, which is why I stayed low as possible to prevent myself from making mistakes, and when I do make mistakes I shut down, get embarrassed, and begin crying. People need to watch how they talk to kids, because sht like this will have a HUGE impact on them when they get older.

Kid was right to give her attitude toward the end, she spent multiple minutes of class time tearing into this kid when he was probably legitimately wanting to learn. I don’t know about that one. My old English teacher (who I strongly dislike) said to my parents that she wanted to punch me for being so unorganised and stupid (I have ADHD and would regularly forget stuff like pens/pencils/rulers or end up not doing certain pieces of homework because I get distracted). I’m thankful I was more naive and less sensitive to those kinds of things back then, and thankful that my parents were caring enough to call her out on it. It definitely can happen. Some teachers are just dickheads.

I once had a teacher in middle school who hated kids. She would even talk behind some of the other teachers backs saying how old they are and how young and pretty she is. She would constantly ask us kids how old she looks and we always said like 20 or something so she wouldn't get mad. Also, whenever I would raise my hand to ask a question she would roll her eyes and huff and then give me an attitude. Honestly she was supposed to be my math teacher but she didn't teach me anything. All she did was complain 🙄
I also have a teacher at my high school who is completely unprofessional and will swear IN FRONT of us kids!! The thing is too is that I'm in classes for people with learning disabilities and stuff so while he's swearing and complaining in front of the class and not actually teaching us. A kid who has autism will always tell him to stop and my teacher will slam his hands on his desk and tell him to shut up. It's sad, but teachers who teach us kids who have a harder time learning are awful to us. We learn nothing! I'm in 10th grade and I've never been taught division.

I'm glad my teachers were never like this. When I was Fourth grade, there was this one kid who would always do something wrong and blame it on others, or just take other students' things. One time, we were working on some social studies project and we were all meant to use little atlases to research for it. However, there weren't enough for the whole class so half of us had to look at a picture of a map on the wall instead. This kid, however, kept on stealing one of my friends' atlases from them, so I kept on going over and getting the atlas back for my friend. But he just kept on doing it, and little 9 year old me got really fed up! I ended up grabbing his wrists and staring him dead in the face and started to yell at him why it wasn't okay to keep on doing that and what he could do instead. He was visibly shaken after I did that, and the teacher softly said, "There is someone clearly fed up with you, [insert that guy's name]. You should listen to them." (At least that's my recollection of what she said.) Anyway he stopped messing with me and my friends but I still feel really bad for the people he still kept on annoying...

I don’t know about that one. My old English teacher (who I strongly dislike) said to my parents that she wanted to punch me for being so unorganised and stupid (I have ADHD and would regularly forget stuff like pens/pencils/rulers or end up not doing certain pieces of homework because I get distracted). I’m thankful I was more naive and less sensitive to those kinds of things back then, and thankful that my parents were caring enough to call her out on it. It definitely can happen. Some teachers are just dickheads.

I once had a teacher in middle school who hated kids. She would even talk behind some of the other teachers backs saying how old they are and how young and pretty she is. She would constantly ask us kids how old she looks and we always said like 20 or something so she wouldn't get mad. Also, whenever I would raise my hand to ask a question she would roll her eyes and huff and then give me an attitude. Honestly she was supposed to be my math teacher but she didn't teach me anything. All she did was complain 🙄
I also have a teacher at my high school who is completely unprofessional and will swear IN FRONT of us kids!! The thing is too is that I'm in classes for people with learning disabilities and stuff so while he's swearing and complaining in front of the class and not actually teaching us. A kid who has autism will always tell him to stop and my teacher will slam his hands on his desk and tell him to shut up. It's sad, but teachers who teach us kids who have a harder time learning are awful to us. We learn nothing! I'm in 10th grade and I've never been taught division.
I want to become teacher but im quite quiet on class (high school) so i dont know if i Will fit that job but i would love to work in high school not middle school. My point is maybe some ppl fond out they are working somewhere where they shouldnt when they already start working

I'm glad my teachers were never like this. When I was Fourth grade, there was this one kid who would always do something wrong and blame it on others, or just take other students' things. One time, we were working on some social studies project and we were all meant to use little atlases to research for it. However, there weren't enough for the whole class so half of us had to look at a picture of a map on the wall instead. This kid, however, kept on stealing one of my friends' atlases from them, so I kept on going over and getting the atlas back for my friend. But he just kept on doing it, and little 9 year old me got really fed up! I ended up grabbing his wrists and staring him dead in the face and started to yell at him why it wasn't okay to keep on doing that and what he could do instead. He was visibly shaken after I did that, and the teacher softly said, "There is someone clearly fed up with you, [insert that guy's name]. You should listen to them." (At least that's my recollection of what she said.) Anyway he stopped messing with me and my friends but I still feel really bad for the people he still kept on annoying...
She is a teacher who couldn't even describe what annoying is😂
