Roland JU-06 & JD-08 song The Oldest and The Newest 26.5.2023

Made today this session with my oldest and newest boutique synths. Bought JU-06 in 2017 and JD-08 March in this year. JU-06 patch 26 modified, lead with chorus 2. JD-08 step sequence PA25, backings. Sony FDR-AX43A video camera. Lead composed, played live, arranged and improvised by me in Studio Tupos 26.5.2023. Nr. 890.
Tänään kohtasivat vanhin ja viimeisin putiikki-Rolandini eli JU-06 ja JD-08. JU-06 tuli settiini tammikuussa 2017 ja JD-08 maaliskuussa 2023. JU-06 hoiti leadin ja JD-08 taustat sekkarillaan. Sony FDR-AX43A kuvasi.

What a magical music! Btw, how do you find sound of your Boutique JU-06 in comparison with your real Juno?

Sounds are quite similar, JU-06 chorus is noiseless. Just play and make suitable sounds.

I get lost creating patches.

Can you please compare those two gears ? For wich kind of music and real time tuning better one or another?

It depends what you need? If you want Juno-106 sounds or JD-800 sounds? JD is more versatile than JU.
