Those wheels are probably the best looking i’ve ever seen from Toyota!
I know, right?!?
good video! I've watched several about the new Camry! Thank you for your contribution!
Happy to help
I'm normally an Accord fan, but the latest body style is so boring. This looks far better.
👍🏼
I agree
Get a Camry 😂
@@GTGarageTalkI need help on how to make the daylight on the bumper come up
very glad to see it has a spare tire!
👍🏼
These wheels look sick 😍
I know, right?!?
@@GTGarageTalkplease how do I turn on the day light on the front bumper?
I love it, All In Black, my dream car.
✅
Camry - Topgun Grandparents car 2024 🥇
Old folks love this thing! My 82 year old grandpa said if he was still allowed to drive he’d buy one. 👍
😉
That's cool.I'm jealous of America because it's not released in Japan.
its just a prius in a camry body
@@blakespower
I think the powertrain is different. The North American model Camry is a 2.5-liter hybrid. The Japanese-spec Prius comes in a 1.8-liter hybrid and a 2.0-liter hybrid. If the North American Prius is 2.5 liters, the body size and design will be slightly different, but you may be right.
@@user-zw3kp7uo6n nah you are correct I didnt even research it! but it gets great Gas Mileage like the Prius
bro can you turn on the front accent lighting? i think that cost $599
I had nowhere to film it to show it off. Hopefully we will get one in the next few months.
camry or sonata hybrid which one will you pick in terms of driving feel, suspension, comfort, steering?
I’ve driven both, personally I’d choose the Sonata
I just got one. Anyone knows how to turn on the daylight on the front bumper? Mine is not coming up
The XLE trim is the only one available with memory seats.
Thanks for sharing.
The battle for the best grandparents sedan continues 😅
lol. I would say Toyota is aiming younger with this one. Stay tuned for Sonata
Not funny.
That would have been the Avalon and now the crown...
😅😅😅. I have 20 years before I'm a grandpa 👴 but it will be 6 months till I get a 2025 Camry 😅
What is the appeal with AWD in a sedan? The benefits seem minimal in most climates and the downsides are many;
- more complex drivetrain components that may require more frequent inspections and maintenance to ensure they are functioning properly.
- regular fluid changes for the differentials and transfer case.
- The need to replace all four tires at once instead of just two
- AWD vehicles typically consume more fuel than their FWD counterparts.
- higher upfront purchase price compared to FWD models.
Can someone let me know what I'm missing?
This uses Toyota’s new electronic AWD. It’s an electric drive motor at the rear. No mechanical connection or differentials to worry about.
I guess this Toyota has solved most of your problems system is so simple. No diff no nothing and no real loss in mpgs either
@@JamaicanMeCrazy Indeed, this is good news! I was looking for an excuse to get AWD and it looks like I found it.
@@redSectorA AWD if you live in snow country. Got no problem with that. But if you're living some where with little if any snow AWD is overblown. With 2025 Camry 0 to 60 is show on huge difference between AWD and FWD. As first poster mentioned tires wear down quicker with AWD and might need to be replaced all at once. Lastly with FWD you have weight on front tires. That give you excellent traction and will help you out (even in snow country) if you get stuck. But to each his own but I'd rather save XXXX just going with FWD.
@@RobLove-lf6dt I appreciate your insight!
Indeed, in regions with minimal snowfall, the benefits of AWD might not justify the extra cost and maintenance. FWD can offer sufficient traction in most conditions while being more economical in terms of initial purchase price and potentially lower maintenance costs. I think saving money by opting for FWD will be the sensible choice for my driving requirements.
So what happens if you drive with one hand? Will the safety sensor go off?
Yes, if your arm passes in between your face and the cameras, it will alert you and tell you to look up as if you are falling asleep
Do you prefer this or the 2024 sonata?
Personally, the Sonata.
Definitely would take this over an Accord or a Sonata but would consider a Legacy as well due to the AWD.
Did you know the Legacy is being discontinued?
You can get AWD on this sedan.
@@direfranchement It may be AWD but it is not even close to the same league as a Subaru AWD system. Still, better than nothing.
@@GenghisKhanrad It doesn't need to be a Subaru. It's a Toyota. Completely different target markets.
@@GTGarageTalk yes and that is unfortunate.
Short answer no. Long answer nope. It hasn't just it's crown. You mentioned the interior is a little dark. The cover version has a lovely brown interior wish that were here in North America
😉
@@GTGarageTalk the Chinese version.
I'm coming around to liking the 2025 Camry. Never been much on hybrids, but non plug in hybrid is ok with me as it requires no added effort than any gas only engine cars.
The 19 inch rims with rubber band tires look nice but on this car really an expensive over kill. 18" rims with 50 series tires would be a better more livable alternative or even 17" and 55 series tires. I know the XLE has 16" rims.
The e-cvt transmission is a logical choice for such a hybrid. Though I'm old school and like manual transmissions. That said I understand the market this car is offered to.
But all in all a nice , roomy, sporty looking with enough performce sedan.
I'm so tired of boring all looking the same CUV/SUV choices. For 9/10 people an appropriate sedan or better hatchback/coupe would be a better lifestyle choice than 🤭CUV/SUV. But such is choice... People should give a good sedan or hatchback a drive before just defaulting to a CUV/SUV.🤔
Thanks for watching.
I'm an Accord buyer and I don't know why they don't make a 4wd Accord with a moon roof. They are loosing the battle with toyota
The Japanese refresh of the Accord has a pano roof. Hopefully it comes to the states soon.
Honda also doesn't offer panoramic roof like Toyota
@@lifewithtrina2930 YEAH, I just can't understand why they don't.
Actually they do make a honda with awd. Its called the acura tlx s-swh
@patrickbaird7803 Honda is Acura, Toyota is Lexus, I get it. I'm talking about an actual Accord with awd.
Does the gear shifts?
it is a continuously variable transmission, so it doesn't really "shift"
@@GTGarageTalk well that sucks big time
Nothing changes from “pre production” to ones people get
yes. Fit and finish. Material choices, and option packages all can be altered from what you see here on camera.
The wheels are a $2k addition i believe?
Still pre-production so I cannot say definitively.
@@GTGarageTalk I went to "build" one on toyota's website the other day and it allowed it as a $2k addition. such a bummer
imagine spending $2K on these wheels?
imagine putting 19" wheels on a hybrid?... oh wait 🤦♂️
How can anybody put Camry and Sonata in the same sentence?👎🏻
🙋🏼♂️
Have you tried them both back to back?
Sonata is direct competition to the camry for the longest
본넷 지지대. 실망이네요
I know, right?!?
The Sonata is a piece of shit. There's just no comparison.
😱
needs to be $5k cheaper to be competitive.
competitive with what? the same priced accord which doesnt have AWD?
@@patrickbaird7803 nobodys buying cars right now lmao.
yeah, Black cars suck!
Color FTW
Indeed.
We have some fun colors of vehicles here on the channel. Most from Hyundai/Kia/Genesis
Hyundai sonata has AWD and offers a more powerful motor with a far better transmission if desired.
Not in hybrid form...
Lmao😂😂😂
False.
Hyundai is not reliable. The Toyota Camry is very reliable.
Very ugly looking car the 2018-2024 puts rings around this one
Looks are subjective. I happen to passionately disagree
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
