My daughter and I were at this show, near the stage. We got to meet him afterward, he signed my copy of his autobiography, and kissed me. My Teenage Heart just about exploded. It was a dream come true. This was the last time I saw him. Thank you so much for posting this, I can't believe I didn't see it sooner. I was just gutted by his passing. He meant everything to me when I was 16 years old.
Wow! Wow! WoW!! Las McKeown sounds just as good Here as he did in 1976!! Amazing! I still love Roller music! Love that. Japan has preserved this after all these years!! Love Las Then - 1976 and Love Las Now, 2021! RIP Les!

I wish I knew about this concert! I would definitely have been there! Rest in Peace, Les! You will be missed! Thank you so much for this wonderful video.
I have always loved his voice! Did not realize I fell in love with that Crooked smile! I loved all of them but when they came to CA. To do the Sid & Marty Crof shows- I met and talked with Les much more then any of the others! I would Too have been at thus concert! I am glad this has been left to us to enjoy that we're Not there!! Looks like he fell back in love with performance again! Hewas A Total Master at it!! RiP Leslie- we Will See you Again sinceI believe the Right our Brothers Song 🎵 that There is a Rock N' Roll Heavenly Band!! RIP Peace Alan Longmuir- since He was the one that started the band, Saxons in 1969!( I was only 9) and RIP Ian Mitchell 😔 🙏.
Wow, this brings back a lot of great memories! My little sister bought the first few albums so I was very familiar with all the songs. They were mostly sweet and innocent, just fun-loving pop songs. They've certainly brought a lot of joy. I'm glad to see that Les was up here smiling and happy, having fun before he left us.
🌟hey Alex-Thanx for this nice Video.I'm so sad and I have no tears .I love the Rollers for my life.Greetings from Germany🌟RIP-Les 🕯️fly high and fly free We love you and never forget you.💞💝Happy nice Video👍
Yes!!! I have always loved the Rollers, but Les was so special!! I met him when My Dad brought my friend Bennette and I asked if we could come to Hollywood and Meet him! We I'd and He took a picture with she & I! Will always cherish that! 😍 he was ' it for me as a 🌟 Star! We seems so happy being able to do for us what He was Born to do!! RiP Leslie., Alan and Ian!! We will see you again.
@@alexsouthgate7551 I was at the show in Savannah and had just had knee surgery, so I was sitting right on the stage! It was a great show and definitely a one of a kind experience!
Hi Alex! That year I saw you guy's at the Brixton in Redondo Beach and at the Canyon Club in Agoura Hills North of Hollywood I was a long haired blonde and wore a Tartan mini Kilt I was with my Other Roller Sisters(Friends) I wish Leslie would come back to America 🇺🇸 but I think that it will not happen he has issues with America and it's Fans 😕 that's my opinion anyway 😉 Tysm For uploading this My Friend!❤🎶🎵🤘 KOR
I think the tech on this was our own man Gordon Smith, who did all the tours back then. Absolutely lovely sound! I think he just mixed it on their in house desk. If you like this there is a live album on Spotify with this line up 'Once In A Lifetime', from the arena tour we were part of the same year. They were just desk mixes, but sound really good!
Me Too, going by the Rightous Brothers song " Rock N' Roll Heavenly Band"!! We will See Them Again!! Can't stop this love affair that started way back when I first heard ' Saturday Night' !!!
He was so close to his parents when they died together ❤️ 😢 I think k he was just so heartbroken!! Not saying this was OK, peepsdeal with things like loss in Their way ( with me it was my Mother who die at 62 back in 1986! Way Too Young! I am now 62 will be 63 on 01/01/2023! Emotional one for me for I will have outlived my Moher by 1 year!) You are supposed to out live your parents right?!
As the keyboardist in the band at the time, I can confirm that what you are hearing from this line up is played 100% live with no backing tracks/ tuning or overdubs etc.:)
He was a Rock Star….Rock Royalty…but he was so ordinary off stage…he used to act as if he was a failure.. Has he been ordained into the Rock and Roll hall of Fame ??
Oh Les was my crusssshhhh at age 10,when living in Surrey,England. I thought Alan was so hot too. These guys rocked so well, were so adorable had such amazing positive presence and brought joy, hysterics as Eric and Les and Woody were often pulled of tge stage, confetti raining down, security trying to rip them from mad girls and them smiling and then picking up the song again before they got manhandled 😂 Just sad how Tam misused and abused these guys sexually as well their hard earned money. They loved what they did and by rights shouldve earned millions then in those years as they were told.
My daughter and I were at this show, near the stage. We got to meet him afterward, he signed my copy of his autobiography, and kissed me. My Teenage Heart just about exploded. Love this guy’s voice and he had a great stage presence. Most importantly you can see how much pure enjoyment he got bringing everybody back. Rip man.
🌟Les we miss you so🌟
Love bay city rollers from when they first started n always will
I love his accent as well!!!
Oh Leslie, how I miss you! RIP, my love. Heaven is blessed to have you! Remember to give a little love!
Miss you, Leslie....
Alex Southgate
, you were playing there!! I'm still in shock and feel very sad, but Leslie will keep on singing in our hearts forever!! RIP... Les McKeown♥
It's very sad. Yes I was playing keys for a few years 2009 - 2012. Then rejoined 2019-2020, memorable times.

Absolutely needs watching. Les is such a personality. What a sense of humour and fun he posesses. Captures your heart he does. What a fella.

The best preformance ever of Leslie. Besides he got a good band and good technicians. Well done boys 👍

In 2010 Leslie consumed two bottles of Whiskey every day. Amazing voice control though... he was singing with all his heart. Sorry for my bad English
but he went to rehab in 2007. Thought he stopped after that.
