  • According to a WTW survey, nearly 70% of US businesses plan to increase salary budgets in 2024. For smaller businesses within hourly-waged industries, salaries are top of mind for employees when choosing a job. In this narrow talent pool, HR must do what they can to offer competitive wages. Most of the time, leadership and management prioritize other operational expenses and often disregard HR initiatives completely.
