If you focus on realism your not being very creative, innovation comes from stepping out of whats normal or common, dont worry about what real theme parks are like build what ever you want. Just copying reality is not creative.

How did you create the roads?
Hard to know which ones you mean specifically but I generally either use paths or terrain paint with basic shapes for the markings. Hope that helps!
