I think a park series would be really interesting to see; I’d love to see if a bot could design the whole park considering guest flow and services. Who knows if this’ll be the future of theme parks one day..? 🤔
It seems that we need to talk about the semantics of the word "design" and where you place the boundary. In my eyes, to "design" a rollercoaster is to come up with a plausible and fun layout, the combination of elements, the heights of all of these elements, the length of the coaster and so on, by yourself; crafted with your own mind and hands. If all of that is taken out of your hands then you are no longer designing, you are administering. For this experiment, I didn't have to create a layout or make decisions on heights, combination of elements etc; I just needed to plot it into a piece of software that could translate the ChatGPT requirements into something it understands. With development, an API could be developed to transfer that ChatGPT data into something like No Limits in the future; so for now we work with what we are given. In summary, I built it; I didn't design it.
Really impressive! How about you build a whole park using ChatGPT? Asking him how the entrance and what not should look like and so on. Don't know if it would be possible, and it would probably be quite a bit hard to do.
I've just tried and it seems that it would be capable of doing that if I refined it.. I am currently looking into whether I need to design it all up front or if I can do it as I go (as in, does it already know what it has suggested to be able to build on it.. or do I need to do it all in one session?)
@@nevergreen4219 it seems I can. For some reason, it wasn't recognising my login when doing these chats but it has since recognised and I can pick them up where I left off.. so it just might work
Okok this is terrifying but the three minutes of bot work could never be without the months of human work by people like John Wardley or Ron Toomer. Round of applause to them, bot, and of course chacho. Keep up the fun content.
This can be really helpful for beginner builders and intermediates like myself. That said, remember that ChatGPT can't innovate. It can logically construct things from the data it's read but it can't fully think. Human imagination is still required.
This is such a cool concept, I could just imagine the possibilities if you did this with a whole park. I asked ChatGPT for a name and it came up with Thrillville, lol.
I just made one for my park. I kept the first turn, but accidently missed the one after the zero G and didn't notice till late in the game. Also after the cobra roll I went SE into the corkscrew instead of going E, corkscrew, S in order to fit it in the space i had. I can send a workshop link if your interested.
@Nerdchacho I followed the ones you posted on Twitter, but I missed the turn after the zero g. I also used autocomplete after the helix, so it's a collaboration between 2 AI.
@@Nerdchacho sure is. I have also tried using ChatGPT to create themed areas, and it seem to turn out pretty well too (better than my own ideas anyways). Maybe you can try that some time too!
This is really cool! I want to try this for myself. I was meant to be going to towers today but the weather shut it down. Was supposed to be a member day. So that sucks, but I don’t think rides can operate in this weather.
Do you think that I could build a specific rollercoaster and using the same platform that you did? What do you think of this plan? I think I might make Fahrenheit from Hersheypark, and asking it to do it for me. Also to try to make it come to life.
This thought crossed my mind. I was looking last night into whether I could chain them together so that the bot already knows what it has recommended in the past. I think it can if you use the same chat window...
This is a truly unique concept and it's kinda frightening. But, what degree of complexity about roller-coasters does one need to understand in order to create something like this in an AI platform?
E5.4, F3.57, N1.03 but Prestige 1156 - So, not amazing on the EFN but amazing on the Prestige, but that might just be my quick design. Ultimately, ChatGPT got the speeds, forces, track lengths, timings and capacity all correct to within a margin of error. So, that also shows how incredible Planet Coaster's physics engine is... The AI designed them all as you saw in the instructions, including heights and speeds. I'm sure if you refined the requirements again it would give you detailed metrics to use. It just needed human input (and two human over-rides) to make it come to life; and that's the whole point of OpenAI.
Isn't it? And I only had to over-rule the layout twice because my human brain couldn't make what it was suggesting work... but... there IS a layout that exists explicitly for the design it gave, even if my hooman brain can't compute it. Everything else other than the 2 "direction of travel" over-rules is all ChatGPT. No creative input from me. My mind is literally blown.
I have and I noted this in the description too... there is apparently an API that plugs into no limits 2 from chatgpt but I can't find ant details on it anywhere...
hahaha you just got the idea for the next park. let chatgpt dictate the design lol use some of the AI art generators to give designs for the theme.... it should come out pretty interesting lol

I actually just started doing this a couple days ago. It’s workingl out pretty well
@Nerdchacho A CGBT Land would be a very interesting project.
@@Nerdchacho do it!
My video for next week is very similar to this 🤣 - I promise were not copying eachother again haha

@@Nerdchacho I have read that it only saves 4000 words or something like that, so it might not work for a full park.
