Who am I?
A man from the USA trying to discover the world one place at a time, while sharing the experiences through my lens. I like traveling to places that are usually not first on most people’s itinerary and showing everyone that these places are worth the journey. I want to experience all the countries I visit as a member of the society but at the same time learn about the culture, food and beautiful people. Growth is not achievable without leaving your comfort zone, so just do it!

Thank you, man, I miss my hometown too. It's been 15 years since I came back 😢
Thank you for the very nice video about wild street food in Myanmar Chinatown 👍
2.12 its Fried Banana, Fried Gourd
5:06 Fried Corn Stick
7:33 Kat Kyi Kite ( Char Kway Teow burmese version) ( best hangover noodles dish)
16:10 Locust ( Fried cricket ) ( you have to take out the black part(poop) and sharp legs to got the best taste)
19:49 ( Spring Rolls ( left Pork, Middle is with corn)Dimsums, Vegetarian Samosa.
While you are in Myanmar you should try steam and Unfried Spring rolls too . Even though they originated from China and Hong Kong a few hundreds years back, they have totally different taste compare to the rest of the world.
Watching you from California and hope you have a nice time travelling to hidden parts of SE Asia.
What? i thought its crickets
Time stamps with explanation, youre the MVP
First thing is not pear
@@Hazzard3443 Its cricket. I made a mistake with grasshopper. By the way it is salty compared to the one in India.
@@Luo_the_Kid Its gourd. I always make a mistake with gourd and pear😂
Wow!! The video is really cool. I Want to watch it.

thank to the guy who help you he is such a good guy.
every time you asked " what's this?" I was answering through the screen as if you could hear me lol😆
Yes, and also losing face. How can you ask if it's chicken for 200 kyats per stick if you just paid 300 for a piece of veggie or banana...? You must understand after a week in Myanmar that meat is more expensive than vegetables..?
@@staffanfogelberg6816 and 300 kyats for a fried cricket. I feel like that's a little bit much for a cricket.
Me too but I'm drunk😂😂
😂
Same here 😂
Can't wait to see that one! I have never tried those kind of wild street foods even I am living here in Myanmar ,please try to describe more detail about the taste of the foods ,that makes your video more interesting ,💙
Thank bro Myanmar food. viewer❤❤Myanmar Country❤
Another different taste of foods in Myanmar. Interesting. Yes i would try different foods in Myanmar. Again, thanks for sharing.
I respect you for loving Myanmar
The first snack you tried was "bottle gourd" fritter and the vendor was selling chicken salad, not pork. The bug was fried cricket, and the girl was telling you the price, 5000, not the name of the food.
Thanks for information but here in Pakistan we also eat samosa😊 i am amazed it's name same in your country
" Look at this 😬" The facial reaction, was cute 🥰

Don't eat too many fried Foods. I was nervous,I thought some of it was pork lol. Delicious Food, especially the fried Noodle w chicken,& those Spring roll looking things. Great video, peace from NYC!!!👍
We dont eat as much pork as Chinese and most of our dish resembles Parkistan and Malaysia cuisine which are very halal friendly countries :D
Most of our pork dishes are laden with fat so that our muslim friends can tell by the look. :)
@@nyizaw8335 More like resembles Indian and Chinese dishes. But we Burmese do eat a lot of pork.
Chicken and pork are stable food for Myanmar.

There's a lot of Myanmar street foods in Chinatown. In the Philippines, when you come to Chinatown, you'll see more chinese foods.
for sure during evening time, that street will be filled with people because there are tables and chairs outside each food stall
I like your white shirt that you bought inside the small market of jumping cat monastery.

Myer you are wrong when you say sauce can mask the real taste.Fried are all the same in every shop what make them different is a good dipping sauce.

Hope you had a nice food at China Town food stall 🎉
the fried fritter u ate with 300 kyats is gourd.
Ikrrr, and its a bit expensiveee
Yep, no topping or anything. Looks like just fried. I would never eat that without some spicieness or a sauce. Coming from a native.
@@-Kijamm 300 kyats is expensive?
@@vagodinfir1636 Yea probably he just bought one fritter 😂 that they didnt give him anything but even if they did, i dont think he would take it tho (saw him refusing the sauce along the way)
@@yookihyunsyoonbebe337 no but it doesnt look like its worth it, likethat doesnt look that good, it look so cold and floppy. and just like the other replies in this comment. it doesnt come with sauce or anything. I mean for this, it should only be 150-250, near my place, its cheap and its delicious and hot. not like that
That pump fruit or whatever, I think u have to try it with sours chilli sauce. Much batter. She didn’t give u any suace.
I recommend banana fry.
7:08 Thats the best part about places like Myanmar lol
17:27 Honestly you should have paid her way more after that. 300= $0.14. Should have gave her a dollar at least. Im sure she cant speak English, but your facial expression and mannerisms are universal. Shes not dumb...
28:14 Lychee soda 😊
32:24 only 6000 is wild 😂
Great video man...
