@@Halfdanr_H Unfortunately, given how little notice there was of the election, and the limited time to get nominations and Deposit money sorted out, the OMRLP hasn't been able to stand as many candidates as we wanted, so have only got 22 candidates. Thankfully, I have a Workers Party candidate in my constituency, or I would be struggling to know who to vote for !!

I remember one excellent policy proposal was to launch an enquiry into why there was only one monopolies commission, also subsidised holidays so that uk pensioners could go skiing on EEC butter mountains.
A 99p coin should be one of the first denominations minted with King Charles head on the reverse. It would solve two major problems: 1. People would no longer amass 1p & 2p coins in their homes freeing up copper to the makets. 2. Items sold in whole pounds can be accompanied with the many millions of single pennies in circulation which people have no other use for but as projectiles at football matches.
The way the tories are governing and have done in years gone by...and the way labour propose to govern if given the chance... I think they could be in for a real chance of recieving enough protest votes to actually gain seats this time around.
For all those who think that it is a wasted vote and that people died so we could vote! I think differently, if it wasn't for people making a sacrifice then the MRLP would not exist. I see it as a way of honouring the dead as I have the freedom to vote for a party allowed to exist in one of the worlds fairest democracies . The choice is there and is there because of brave people. So vote with pride, I am a member of this party and I find it insulting that people would bad mouth my favourite political party as, "A wasted vote!" Don't be shy, be out and PROUD to be a looney!
