    Tbh I think Motorola should bring back the original Razr. Just update the internals. Still my favorite phone of all time.

    I purchased one for my wife and I along with the customized back plates with our last names on them. Those were the times. I also had the all black model with the blue glowing M front logo. That was my absolute favorite.

      I wish for that myself, but I highly doubt Lenovo is going to do that, as they are so heavily invested in pushing their Android phones with their E, and G lines selling so well right now.

      Maranello Santiago I currently have a G3, G4(my elder mother's daily driver), my daily driver a G5 plus and my girlfriend has a Moto E5 cruise on cricket wireless, the others are unlocked phones on cricket wireless.

    I LOVED my Razr phone back when! I had it in college, and that thing was so durable, and looked amazing as well! I bet that I dropped it 1,000 times and it kept working. it was Probably my favorite phone "pre smart phones" Era of all time. If they released one of those again, i'd want one for old times sake : ) !! Good times! I think i still have mine in a drawer somewhere.

    Adjusted to inflation, Razr V3 was priced equal to $860 of todays money. Not exactly a cheap phone even nowadays.

    I had this phone and i loved it. It was small, really thin, and amazing voice clarity. It also had a battery life that lasts for days...

      If you think that phone had a long battery life, then you should have seen the Motorola C139 that came before the Razar series, I had one as my first phone, and that little puck could go for almost a week on no charge with minimal usage.

    I had a couple of these back in the day. Loved them! 100% would buy one now if they redid it looking exactly the same with modern bits inside and a high res screen.

    Candybar, flip, slider and qwerty. I'd go with a slider qwerty but they don't make those anymore. BB Priv was the last slider qwerty. And it asked way more money than it was worth.

    This was the first cell that I was proud to own, I thought it was beautiful in every way. I owned two and the only issue I had was their durability. My first one was ruined when I got caught in the rain. Besides that I loved it and it's the only retro cell I would carry.

    Good video J.V. Can u revisit the Motorola StarTac from late '90's early 2000's? That was another flip phone in addition to the Razr that everyone carried. And what were the total sales of these 2 models throughout the years. Nokia, I remember had the market cornered then but the Razor and the StarTac were giving Nokia a run for it's money.

    I had one of these when it just come out and paid the full outright price with the special leather case and BT headset to go with it. Except for the interface lag it was brilliant and a huge step up from the Nokia 8110 I had before it ( matrix phone for those who dont know). I paid somwhere in the AU$800 mark (cant remember exactly) and was really bummed when they were closing out at AU$129.

    Motorola should reboot the V3 with KaiOS and a Snapdragon 2xx CPU. If Nokia is killing it with their rebooted 3310s and 8110 banana phones, Motorola could come in and start the feature phone wars of 2019.

    One of the nicest phone... but I had problems with this fone... speakers burred... flip display has gone even though I handled the fone very gently... later I shifted to Sony Ericcson W810i, which was a mind blogger... W810i lasted for 7 years without any issues.

      With Lenovo owning Moto I doubt that's going to happen with their E, G, and C(in the few markets it's in) series Moto phones selling so well. If they did bring it back though I'd honestly rather see Kai OS on it instead of Android as something different.

    $600. It was mostly a luxury item then. It looked good, but it was mainly used for calling and maybe some texting and gaming.
    I'll gladly pay $800-$1,000 now for a phone but that's because we use our smartphones for EVERYTHING these days.

    Back in the day I had one of these I've gotten used as a gift from my parents. It was a neat phone, but the features didn't justify its cost. Of course, it had all that you expect from your average phone at the time, quite mediocre camera, not that much storage and the battery was very average if I remember well. Plus, they were apparently known for breaking easily, mine eventually stopped turning on for what I think it was the battery, I searched that online a couple of years later and that sort of problems weren't unusual. Overall it was very overpriced for what it actually offered and we may as well take the pink nostalgia glasses off and have a second, deeper look at it to notice that.

    I loved the Razr V3 back in the day, I had it as an AT&T Go Phone, and at the time the most I had ever payed for a phone at $130 USD with $100 worth of service for the entire year, I was very very sad a year, and 1/2 later when in a boating accident it got lost to depths of the Savanna River :-(

    I'm wanting the Moto g100 !!!!! Best mid range phone in my opinion show me a better one please!!! The only thing that's not good about the phone is it does not have dual speakers but I can do without with the newest chipset and all kinds of RAM all's I play is League of Legends and call of duty

    I didn't have the Razr, I had the moto Rizr, which was a close sibling of the Razr. Instead of flipping open, it slid open and had all of the same style and design of the Razr. My favorite non-smartphone I ever had

    I used to have a RAZR v3m. It was a good phone for its time.
