Giant Rabbit Runs in Circles & Does Binky (When Bunny is Happy to See You) 飼い主が来ると喜ぶジャンボうさぎ!

  • Jabba the rabbit(flemish giant or continental giant rabbit) gets excited and happy when she sees me(her owner, Luna) coming towards her cage.
    So the giant bunny runs in circles in her cage before I get in, then runs in circles after I get in.
    **Wait! if you don't want any spoiler, please read the part under this line after you watch the video!**
    When a bunny runs in circles it can mean many things, but, in the case of Jabba, I think it means she wants to play with me or get my attention.
    My giant rabbit's circling is often accompanied by binkies. A binky is a jump with a twist in the middle. Bunnies do binky when they are extremely happy(FYI, It is called 横跳び in Japanese).
    Actually, Jabba the Flemish giant rabbit does half-binkies(just flicking the head instead of twisting the whole body) more often than binkies while circling. When bunnies do this while circling, it means they are happy and want to play with you.
    My rabbit does circling or binkies when she wants to get attention so that she can get her food or be petted by me.
    My flemish giant bunny does circling just because she is happy to see me!
    We hope this video made you happy, too!

    Thank you so much for this video! Your English is really good!
    If you happen to see this and have the time to answer, I have a question as an American viewer: I've heard the average living space is a lot smaller in Japan than in America (especially in areas around Tokyo), does that make it difficult to own an animal as large as Jabba? I imagine finding the space for a large animal would be difficult!
    Thank you so much! I love the content! Keep up the amazing work! 💙

    • @jabbatherabbit7506

      Thank you for your kind words Alex :) Yes, indeed. Living spaces, restaurants, and many other places in Japan are small, so it's very challenging to keep dog-sized pets like Jabba at home. I had to give more than half of my room to Jabba for her cage, and let her out of the cage and roam around in the house when I was at home. But I still felt sorry that I couldn't give her more space like big rabbit owners in other countries. Now, in our new house, I am giving her more space :)

    So only the ateable poop layed on the flor and thst was easy to clean.
    Ever time the bunny wanted to bite into a cabel we threw a smsll tissue packsge ner the bunnys bumb (not on the bunny )
    Sometimes we slit it so it hit the bunny softly . The attemptes got less and less Nd some day we could let it roam free in the apartment withlut watching it all the time. So its possible maybe you should try that

      my bunny think, that it is a dog... it rum after me if i walk from livingroom to kitchen or bath; it circles around my legs or licks my hands legs feed no matter if i was only 5-10min in the bath... and it is so haoppy if i sit on the floor grooming her or she is on the sofa or my bed, licks my hands and put her head under my hand... it want to say, what are you waiting for?? start petting and grooming me... i will lick your other hand, too... often she falls asleep .... bunnys are so wonderful, beautiful, loyal creatures.... a lot humans think, its stust pets who are sitting in the cage.... they are so much more... some bunny think, they are dogs and act like dogs....

      @manuel1232324 4 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      @@MsMakeupChik potty training is easy with the right knowledge.
      honestly i have only had and heard of bad experiences with the leash. neck leashes NO! ones with body suit are a little bit better in case of safety but first of all they only come in size for small and giant rabbits and in many cases neither will fit your rabbit cause its either too small or too big. still putting that on is also risky since it can hurt itself or escape in an uncontrolled area. Also most leashes that come with it are made of rubberizing material which if the bunny tries to run or binky a certain way can lead to it bouncing back and putting a lot of pressure on its internal organs.
      Beside of that think about your bunnies behaviour. If I have my bunnies outside in the garden 95% of the time they love to explore bushes dig under them and stuff. they are not the type of animal you would put on the sideway and it would enjoy running in a direction with you. It would most likely be in fear since out in the open it feels more exposed to dangers from above so it naturally would move to areas it can explore under and with the leash or the body suit it can easily get stuck or you have to let go of the leash at some point both leading to dangers.
      its just not worth it.
      its egoistic.
      you are not doing that for the rabbits happiness but you want to feel cool outside in the open or walking it in front of your friends i dont know.
      i feel sorry for you if your parents didnt get u a dog but pls dont walk your rabbit instead.

You also need to get the right sized harness for your bun bun, dont take reccomendations from pets at home or anything, also don't keep bunnies outside in a hutch or anything, they need to be inside, they will have a longer and happier life

      Some rabbits are doing just fine without other rabbits, as some of them tend to fight. Having one single rabbit means that you have to entertain them by spending a lot of time with them and giving them a lot of space to explore and toys to play with.

      Not always! Some bunnies prefer being the only one in the house. They see their humans as their companions and get jealous/territorial around others. We've tried bonding my rabbit several times before and it has never worked out because she doesn't want anyone to take our attention off of her, lol

    I know this seems sooo cute and everyone is blind by how their relationship is good and stuff but to be honest this is really not enough space for a normal sized bunny in the first place , and so it is not enough for a Bunny like jabba. Jabba is probably feeling lonely in this tiny space , so it's normal that he is happy to see you, right?You are he's ONLY FRIEND and he's all alone often for hours, so... You seem like a lovely person,so PLEASE PLEASE , watch Lennon the bunny's Chanel video "how to free roam your Bunny" to freeroam Jabba , you'll be together all day and he'll be much healtier and happier with more space , the space given for a bunny is really important, they need space to run. And I swear to you/ y'all , a bunny can't run as they want in this tiny space.
    ** If Jabba ever gets to be freeroam, I'll give a follow for sure, you guys are so cute together, but really , to see a Bunny in such a tiny space is really sad to see when you know it's not enough, and I live with 2 freeroam buns so I know what I am talking about!!**

    • @user-vw2mw6xc9n
      @user-vw2mw6xc9n 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Please! I have a much smaller bunny who, although not a freeroam, has the entire living room and the hallway to roam around. I promise you: your rabbit will still love you and you will see much more binkies and zoomies if you allow some more space.

    • @wisteria2793
      @wisteria2793 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That area looks bigger than an x pen. It's more than enough space for a rabbit and she obviously let's the rabbit out often too. You people always find something to comment about 🙄

    • @marinabolduc7231
      @marinabolduc7231 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@wisteria2793 "More than enough" ? Do you even live with a rabbit in the first place? Because only someone that don't care would say that. A rabbit can't have "more than enough" they litteraly need all the goddamn space you can give them , JUST LIKE A CAT OR A DOG , but dogs and cats don't even run and jump like rabbits that NEED TO so rabbits need even more that space than them. PERIOD.

    • @wisteria2793
      @wisteria2793 4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @@marinabolduc7231 yes, I do have a rabbit and if they're in a space like that it's definitely sufficient 🙄. Xpens are meant for DOGS (which need WAY more space than rabbits) to play in while owners are busy, so its definitely ok for a rabbit as long as they have toys and get time outside of the pen. Not to mention that rabbits sleep mostly during the day, when the owners are usually busy at work. The minimum size space recommended by the house rabbit society for a rabbit is 8 square feet, and a typical x-pen is 16 SQUARE FEET. And the pen in the video looks even bigger than that. And you called it tiny? Do your research and find better things to worry about. Her rabbit is clearly happy and she even said so herself that she lets Jabba out for hours every day whenever she can watch her and keep her safe, you are attacking her for absolutely no reason. Look at some of her other videos before making assumptions.

      @@wisteria2793 I do watched some others of her videos , sorry to care that much about animals welfare I guess? You really do think you make me want to say otherwise ? Girl what? Sorry maybe I should have been LOUDER : RABBITS DON'T BELONG IN A CAGE. A least the rabbit could have her own room , THAT would be a great start. Oh and you don't need to "keep safe" a rabbit if you "bunny proof" a room or the home, logic.

    Does she, or he ever jump over the fence? They can jump very high. Rabbits are very intelligent. When I was around three years old my uncle had a garden, because he was a gardener. And he bought two rabbits. When they had small rabbits I could play with them. The male was as big as Jabba to me, because I was so small. I remember this very clearly. How we used to pick berries together and put small plants into new pots.
