Many of the artists I've been following religiously, seem to have bailed from the label, and some who are still there, rarely ever release anything, if at all. Not to mention the amount of remixes the label is putting out so much of. IWNBTS stated that his album was pretty much done four years ago (but let's not talk about that). Then I constantly get emails from FiXT about Becko. Again, this is just my opinion but that last Becko + Anix track was... oof. Whoever is running Klayton's social media seems to post content that is from years ago, just for the sake of posting something. I deleted my facebook a few months back, but RIP to all the followers who had to watch all those wife beater Dr.Disrespect videos on a routinely basis from both Klayton's page and FiXT. And don't get me wrong, I watch anime from time to time but I still laugh at that hentai shirt in the merch store. Though the one email that struck the final blow for me, mentioned a guy in the spotlights "a gay, emo geek who loves all the video games and people, who hails from the queer future with a penchant for cyberpunk, anime, and radiating LGBTQIA+ power". I signed up to the newsletter for FiXT content and got tinder profiles instead. I still haven't found the unsubscribe button in my emails yet...

I love the Black metal, Industrial, Breakbeat, Trip Hop and other influences on this. This is a genre boundary remover of an album. Congratulations Bret! Can't wait for the whole Trilogy! Thank you!
I definitely think the works with lyrics are some of the best. Your voice is too good not to have, that's why I like a lot of the songs from Ultranumb and The Devil. This is a great album and I'm happy to see you producing great music! I missed these new songs for awhile.
Welp, this album is actually something new. It sounds both familiar and unexpectedly at the same time. Your music style sounds quite a lot different to what it was even 2 years age, when you've released Lakes of Flames(which literally sounded like The Devil sequel). However, taking in consideration the fact that THIS beauty is only first of three parts, my gosh you did a fucking amazing job. There are smol problems like lyrics being a bit too quite in some songs, or that weird sound somewhere at the 4/5 of the Power Outrage(I guess), but they are not that critical. Sooo, I can just say that Quartz is actually an intriguing album, can't wait for next two parts, and esspecially that military-styled thing from the first teaser (I really hope that it will be somewhere in Copper or Obsidian, cuz it sounds freaking dope)

I hate that for every song there's gotta be a remix... Scandroid's album The End of Time felt more like an EP because there were only 5 OG songs and more remixes. Even when the album is not finished, they just throw remixes

It's been like that for a year now roughly. If you buy music from the FiXT site and get those digital promo cards from the files, you'll notice his name is no longer part of the currently active roster. I'm not sure if his contract expired or if something happened in the background (due to it being a quiet departure), but it's probably best to leave it as it is.
Bret, is it possible to make a BandCamp release as well? I don't use streaming services, Amazon doesn't allow purchases outside the US and Qobuz just took my money yet I cannot download the album. Bandcamp was a very good option for those of us who don't use streaming services and live outside the US. PS: Great album! Can't wait to get it.

Good lord, I'm not quite sure if some of this is considered electronic music or not, but I certainly love it now. Stahli basically got me through the entirety of middle school and high school. He was also the gateway into heavier music for me, with the catchy tunes and riffs of his previous works. Then Black Sabbath, then Led Zeppelin, then blues. I've expanded my music taste significantly because of this man, and even today, at the age of 18, attending college for the first time, I still continue to learn about more great music from Blue Stahli. Just as you are shaping and changing the musical landscape Stahli, I hope to one change the music world as well. Ps. I freaked out when I saw the Blue Stahli cameo in Bojack Horseman once 👀
