  • Why did we leave “The Organization That Shall Not Be Named?”
    We get asked about why we left "The Organization That Shall Not Be Named" a lot. And, as members of this channel I feel like it's ok to share with our Pro Monkey Family a bit more detail about why, after so many years, you would step away from an organization you love so much. So... here it goes... the whole story why we left.

    As a Clinical Social Worker who works adolescent inpatient (hospital) with mostly suicidal or serious mental health cases, I completely understand the position your wife was in. It is a recipe for major burnout. Hard enough keeping your head screwed on right as it is working that kind of job, without also doing similar on your spare time. Got to take care of yourself first before you try to help anyone else.

      I admire you both. I belong to an organization that we know have a mission for kids and veterans. We do two charity rides. A year plus multiple fundraisers through out the year for both causes. We have an ex senator ( bill diamond ) in Maine who started up walk a mile in their shoes. And we were the first to get his charity out there. We are doing everything we can to helping the children

    I really appreciate you guys, I was abused as a child and was taken by cyfd here in New Mexico it was a struggle for my little self at the time but I had so much support. Ended up getting adopted and have a great forever family. I totally support BACA for what they do, and everyone else that supports and helps abandoned/abused children.

    I was a founder/president of a BACA Chapter in a Northern CA County where the services were much needed. We were well on our way to becoming a full charter when an issue arose at a State Conference. Some of the chapters in the larger metropolitan areas decided that retired and or current members of law enforcement should not be members of BACA. These chapters had been attending CofC meetings and began to be influenced by the clubs of CofC. As a retired LEO, this left a bit of a bitter taste. I respectfully left the chapter, along with a number of other members who disagreed with this type of direction for the organization. It is truly an awesome organization. It was just sad that many had lost their way and became a bite too full of themselves. I fully respect your decision and the reasons for that decision...and huge props to Mrs. Monkey for the work she does. I had been assigned to child sexual assault cases during my career... toughest cases to handle for anyone.

    First off, thank you for caring so much for the ones that needed to be cared for. I like watching the channel, and for you to share personal information just shows who you are as person. I understand about leaving an organization. I had belonged to one before and enjoyed everything about it. But once I had to leave the general area and took 2 plus hours one way to make the meetings became too much. I decided to leave and not go into nomad status. It was hard to leave but there is always other events or tasks that can be done without the long commitment.
    Love the channel keep it up.

    MLHR to you two. FYI, I’ve watched your channel for a few years now and was always intrigued by the “Organization That Shall Not Be Named”. The passion I heard you consistently express about helping kids really drew on me. Over time, and with careful watching, I finally figured out who the organization was. Once I looked at their video, I was hooked. Been involved ever since with NO regrets. Much respect for knowing your situation and unwinding yourself in such a way as to put no one - especially the kids - in jeopardy. You are good peeps and I’m glad to know you (in a long distance sort of way). Keep on doing you!

    I don’t think you owe any kind of explanation. However, as a follower of the channel I kind of was wondering. I’m not part of an organization that shall not be named but….I work an a branch of healthcare that I am constantly fighting hospitals, doctors and insurance companies to give and provide the care that people, especially the elderly, can be able to live at home and maintain a quality of life. What I’m talking about is a can of worms that requires so much conversation unless your in my world. The Healthcare system is broken. Anyway, I salute you both for your decision. That took some Avocados, all in or out. I have a funny feeling you two will be back in your organization. I can tell the passion is still there but maybe right now is not the right time. I’m still on fire for my cause because I’m single and have that luxury. I wish there was an organization in my Missouri area that addresses elderly and handicapped persons. I would be on board. God Bless!

    Thank you for showing love to law enforcement for helping when kids are going through hell. Too often the motorcycle community finds it fashionable to hate cops for no reason other than "culture". Keep in mind, a shit ton of cops ride too, so, we can get along if you want but you have to make that choice. Cops go through a ton of nasty shit on the job from seeing bikers run over by big rigs, to finding infants murdered in their carriers and discarded outside in the winter cold by their own mother who was too twacked out of her mind to realize infants cry when they're hungry and the way to make it stop is to feed it. Any way, soory for the rant, all that to say, thank you for breaking with biker culture and showing law enforcement a little love for what we deal with. ML&R

However, being privy to this secret part of your lives you just boosted my respect tenfold. There are many things that I would like to be a part of but anything that would cause me to see or hear about child abuse i just can't handle. I am a puddin' of sorts. You two have my respect and admiration for how you handled it and made sure the Heroes and your duties were completely taken cared of and/or resolved. My wife & I left shortly after we earned our “tomatoes” and bottom rockers for the secondary reasons you left. We absolutely loved the organization and the majority of the people but there were some patches that treated us like we were scum and not worth anything even though we gave and would give more of every ounce of our soul to empower those kids during their darkest times. At the end of the day, we left because we wanted to protect our family from the chauvinistic, hateful and down right mean spirited treatment we received on the L1’s. It’s amazing how some patches acted when they knew no one was watching versus when they thought they had the spotlight and their ego & self worth overshadowed the mission. We appreciate you two and we love your channel and it’s content. Keep up the great work and know you have our utmost respect and support. God Bless 🙏❤️

      I am sorry you had that experience in the Org. That is not how anyone should be treated. Everyone has a role to play and no one should be treated that way. It is not indicative of the Org or every chapter, just to let you know.

      @davidtruong9367 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@cem1133 We both appreciate the time you spent reading & replying to our comment. We’re truly heartbroken when we reported the behavior, we got “yeah, we know who he is and we got a lot of complaints about him. He’s been with BACA for 15 or 16 years, so he’s not going anywhere” instead of “don’t let that bother you but please focus on your own reasons why you’re both here in helping the children. Yes, it absolutely is a kick in the gut when that happened to us but we did the right thing and those who we’re still friends with after we officially left said we did the right thing. Who knows, we may want to come back if things change and the culture shifts to being about the mission versus a “big D party” and doing everything in their power to make new members feel uncomfortable & unwelcome. Until then, we’ll focus on our own family and business and we know you’ll do the same. Keep up the great content and attitude, we’ll be watching and supporting you guys. God Bless.

      @cem1133 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @davidtruong9367 Again I am sorry that you were treated that way in the Org. It is supposed to be all about the kids but can get toxic on occasion with bad members. That should have been taken care of by your sponsor and by the CEB. Unfortunately the Org has started to become in my opinion to big to fast and things are taking the CEM and SEB's away from mission and having them focus to much on policy. As a sponsor myself and as the chapter Sgt-at-arms I was disheartened to hear what ya'll experienced. Again please don't let that one member taint how you view the Org and I hope one day you guys will decide to come back in.

      @@cem1133 Unfortunately it was our sponsor that said that when we reported the awful behavior to her and we got ZERO follow ups from the CEB. So after a full three days, we officially left and gave back the patches. It was a very sad day; we miss our brothers and sisters so much as we now watch on the sidelines cheering them on from a distance. Wish we were in your chapter based on your insights and thoughts about how things “should have” happened or been handled, but that was not the case. Praying for all those who still ride and give their all to those kids.

    I wanted to ask about this when we talked in Sturgis, but didn't want to pry. I'm glad that you did this video.

    You left with Honor and dignity, with your head held high. That speaks a lot to your character and how serious you took your commitment. Nothing but respect for you. Keep doing what you're doing.

    Anyone who prioritizes children have a special place in heaven. In my opinion, children are the most important gem( I didn't want to say "thing") in the world. My wife and I donate to children's causes. When we were members of Ft. HOG, we were invited to Daytona for a party were we donated money to Boggy Creek. On that Sunday we were to go visit the children but I couldn't go. It was too emotional for me as I would have cried the minute I would have seen those precious children. God bless you both.

    I have lot's of respect for what you have done with BACA. Our local clubs all work together to support each other and all of the needs of the community. Children and their needs are top of the list. If you are ever in Eureka California I would love to meet you in person. Your channel has provided some great information and your causes are close to my heart.

    Very high props to both of you, my mom was a foster parent for over 25 years and as a kid growing up seeing all the abuse and damage these young kids went through made me so angry at the bastards that could do such a thing, it was difficult to deal with, but my mom touched so many lives and was awarded foster parent of the year many years, so thank you to both of you and all that you do.
