Do not go for any cups of tea with anyone around Beijing, especially the tourist sites claiming to be students. They will take you to tea shops that cost thousands of dollars for a cup of tea. If you go to Xian it's a really cool city. There's a hostel on the main square called the Bell Tower hostel and it's pretty good. More like a hotel but full of backpackers and great place to meet people. There's a Muslim quarter and also an area called bar street - A themed street made up like London and lots of great little bars and music.
Welcome to Shanghai. It is not easy for foreigners to travel to China. I hope you are prepared Security is no problem at all . Before coming need to know how to pay and prepare vpn and how to use Chinese mobile software .

Go to Yunnan! It's beautiful, the food is amazing and it's more like a mix of Myanmar and Thailand with China. Also, you should visit Dwarf Kingdom in Kunming - that vlog will get record views!!!

BTW That churning sculpture at Suvarnabhumi airport depicts Hindu mythology where the Lord Shiva is standing for them to churn the poison out of the ocean that could destroy the universe and then drank it all and his body turned blue.

I didn’t realise that you can obtain a visa on arrival in China? Does anyone know if this is a fact or not? The cost and how long it’s for?
